- BEHIND THE SCENES OF THIS VIDEO - • How to Rescore a Scene...
This edit required me to completely remove the original soundtrack, and edit in music to fit the narrative I wanted to create. This involved various techniques, such as changing the order of scenes within the clip and changing the timing of each scene, as well as adding in my own sound effects to make this edit possible, such as when the robbers cross the street via cables, which required me to completely replace the sound. The techniques that I used, such as crossfade transitions as well as using loud sounds as transition points are detailed in this video: • How to Rescore a Scene...

For anyone who doesn’t know, Hans Zimmer was busy scoring Dune when Tenet was being made so he recommend Ludwig Gorannson to Nolan
You're not getting hit by the bus. You're catching it.
Why does this fit so well...
Nice job! Knew this would work brilliantly. The opening of TENET felt like it could be Nolan's fourth Batman movie.
I don’t care about people’s negative reviews on Tenet
In term of pace, Tenet is running while other Nolan movies are just jogging.
A lot of people don’t know but Hans zimmer didn’t write the score for Tenet because of schedule conflicts. So the man (Ludwig) who wrote the score did so how he interprets how Hans Zimmer would write it, and it’s pretty spot on in my opinion.
I was pretty sceptical about this but man this works brilliantly !
I think the Tenet opening scene was the best I’ve ever watched, it’s so tense, gripping & when you understand what’s happening after you’ve watched it, it makes it so magical. If they used this music for these scenes but changed the speech times & edited the scenes to suit the music in certain places I think it could be one of if not the best opening scenes. You’re making me want to edit something to this song now haha I’ve been addicted to thats how your video must of popped up to me!
We live in a twilight world.
"Where did you learn to count."
This shows just how important is the sound design in cinematography.
Nolan really knows how to open a movie
