Could try putting a straw from an aerosol can under the small end of the CV boot, helps vent them when they get hot. Doubt that's your issue but it can't hurt and does prolong their life

On my k20 ek9 I had a CV boot leak small amounts constantly, it was in good nick and I tried new clips as tight as they would go but it never fixed the issue. In the end a new genuine EP3 inner boot kit and some fresh grease fixed the issue
Not sure if it was an issue of the old grease breaking down and being able to escape or maybe just tired rubber even though the old boot looked good
Anyway keep it up, these race videos are a class watch, even the misses enjoys watching them!

29:30 Fuuck that might have solved a problem for me. I've destroyed two inner bearings in about 10 KM worth of racing, I thought that they'd be fine sitting in the gear oil but maybe I should have grease on them as well?!

15:35 why not look at the maf values? That should give you a clear answer on the air filter
Would be curious what you do about brake fade, especially on these longer sessions with standard calipers.. Do you not end up with no brakes?

Brakes are fine. I don't really go fast enough to trouble them. Just need good pads and fluid

Interesting the BMC filter test, i once tried an "aliexpress special maf Adapter" paired with a "Amazon Racing BMC CDA replica" ducted directly from the side vent. Car was going shite in the high rev zone (Mid range was good, definetly more responsive but LTFT were above +10%, intake temp very cool but it was winter so it doesent count much ). I also used a 3d printed 2zz replica maf adapter but didn't work neither.
I really don't understand how you and other mr2 championship partecipants are able to make it work 🥲
You need to be careful with the MAF, keep an eye on the AFR when you make changes
Like i said earlier... Just use good brand name 4k dashcam instead of gopro for onboard camera.... Saves the gopro for outside recording..

First corner at Snetterton is big boy pants time, I see you use the same line as me with the double apex and occasionally onto the grass. Also changing down through the gears under the bridge into Brundle and Nelson seems to work better, I used to block shift from 5th to 3rd and it always made the car feel unstable. Occasionally I'll go into Brundle in 4th, touch the kerb, straighten the wheel then down into 3rd for Nelson. It's an odd line into the corner and I've never been 100% happy with it.
I wasn't double apexing, I could never get comfortable going for the first one
Put a snorkel on it....Get as much cold clean air as you want then..could even make one out of PVC pipe

Is it just me or does the tire squeal at points does sound exactly like it does in GranTurismo 1? That would mean all the complaints about the sound of GT1 would be obsolete 😅

MR2 showing that lift off oversteer is as strong as ever.
have you tried putting a little breather tube venting the boot at the small end... i use like a pressure can nozzle extension, it lets the boot breathe and stops pressurization

Ey Dan, do you think the driftings helped you become a better driver on track? Owned a few Clio sports, just downgraded to an e46 330i, still not confident in the rwd holding grip like the 200 or 220 I’ve owned. You think a drift day or few would help me learn this?

Wait downgraded 😂? Driftday's, and going over the limit where you have space will be needed. Begin with low speeds and build it up. So just practice.
