Lovely Plavka on vocals. This kind a psychedelic ethno oriented stuff was a huge thing in the very early 1990's. Too sad that this kind of music and videos is not done anymore nowadays...

Oh Plavka you gorgeous minx! I loved you with Jam and Spoon’s “Right in the Night” too.
No matter what kind of a day I am having it sure is nice to hear this and to see this. There are at least two parts to Plavka Lonich's charm here, a) she is relaxed when she is dancing and she is a good dancer and b) she smiles with her eyes. The keyboard sounds very pleasing and I especially like the vocal polyphony and harmonies when Plavka is singing and the broken chords accompanying the singing. In every verse he is saying the same thing but who cares?!
Loved The Shamen... but take a bow Sir Billy Orbit.. you transformed this into a masterpiece..

Probably the greatest thing ever to come out of Scotland and that's no joke.

This sounded like BS in the 90´s to people not aware of experimental technologies specially virtual reality. But now in 2023, 30 years later, we are starting to see how hyperreality will transform everything.

| worked on this music video back in the day. I was a Prop man. some of the "paint" used was actual semen because we could not get hold of paint that would not cause harm.

It's not the gayest thing I've ever seen. I've lived in Asia for 6 years... but it is interesting to hear pre Mr C Shamen. I had a cassette of the album that someone gave me. It was actually alright if you were getting hammered back when i was a kid - but looking at it now - Mr C certainly made them better. However their strobey stuff was effective. It gently hooked people into Rave music - though not this particular tune. Weirdly after getting spannered to Guns n' roses, Rage against the Machine and Faith No more my friends and I tuned into the Shamen. Then... we got more spannered and started raving out to Liam Howlett's Prodigy Experience. I suppose the Shamen was a gateway music, the same way caffeine is the the pre-requisite gateway drug to Ecstacy...
