this is beyond time, space and senses, a everlasting hit that cross the universe, !I LIKE IT¡, !YEAH¡.
Love the early Shamen music.
Always loved Shamen since 1991
I need Colin to come back. The separation... 💔
Found this band and song through the 90s British video game show Bad Influence.
This song is so beautiful, love it.
Loved this when I first heard it...... Many moons ago. What a tune!.
same background loop as de`lacy - hideaway great track
I've often thought about this song, the lyrics are so pure and personal ....
"Time was when we lay together
But that was long before the fall
I feel the same way now as ever
Somehow the both of us were wrong"
Was never a massive Shamen fan, but I'd be the first to admit, they produced some great tunes. This one included, which seemed ahead of it's time.
Angus, get it together without Mr.C. Just do it, You have a base out there.
So many happy moments The Summer of Love Cape Town early 90's...brilliancy!!
If ever a song was guaranteed to be a pointless answer this is it.
Oh my goodness, diving into those good waters of YT again
2022-23 still turning it up LOUD
Have only just noticed that underscore sounds like the baseline (if it was sped up) to De'Lacy's 'Hideaway'. Surely that must have been taken as a sample???
Sampling was massive back then, its probably a loop that was available on a cd or something like that
Yep - used to mix them together - works a treat.
This was a radio remix. It's not the bass line, it's the drum loop that is very similar to the Hideaway Remix at that time. Yes, they were jumping onto the band wagon in search of radio play.
gooood memories thanks shamen .-)
2019! Let's do it!
Thank you
I've had Axis Mutatis since it was released, and never seen this clip
William Latham is a cool dude.
This song was so way ahead of its time! It still works now and touches me. Unfortunately the video is very crappy even though i like william lathams work.
the P.M. Dawn mix is bonkers different if you didn't already hear it.. it shocked me that they were the same song
excellent track!!!!Album version is better to me. Axis mutatis is awsome!!!!!!!
nice.
This is not the same version as the one that I have on my old Axis Mutatsis CD purchased in the USA way back in the day… nevertheless the lyrics are on point and this video is trippy. Now I’m curious to dig up that old CD and assess the versions
You ever find it on YT?
woow what a vibe
trippy :D
