dax, can you tell moni, i journal in a full house, sometimes about people in the house, and i leave it out with my bedroom door open. i figure if someone else reads it, that’s on them. btw, no one does. so i think she is ok in her bachelorette pad.
So funny the icing technique I learned from one tree hill actress bethany joy lenz and I've never looked back. But I only get acne during my cycle. I love Monica for sharing her journey with all things skin and women's bodies.
I feel so stupid I thought sitting Indian style was from Native Americans. Thanks for always teaching me Dax and Mon. In other news you both are looking hot!!
Something that the book 2 of you are not thinking about, is your white male and she is a brown woman who is raised in the south. I was raised in Michigan and was born in Kansas and when I got to California, I knew I was home. I only visited Michigan one more time I think people of color who go to California feel a freedom that they don’t even know they feel initially. now I went long before the young woman because I went in the 60s and the civil rights bill passed in 1965. I’ve benefited from that legislation a deal because there was an effort to hire black folks and because I was attractive and light of skin, I got a lot of offers to do things that I probably would not have gotten to do before 1965. I just think that living in California is a significant change psychologically for people of color. I’m not sure they would all agree the reason, but because I came at a time when it was very clear to me why I felt at home in California almost immediately. She may disagree and that’s OK.
It would be so nice if for once Dax didn’t compare his trauma to others it’s very annoying- let the guest tell their story without Dax always interjecting with how it made him feel!
He has talked about this. He’s looking for similarities and often there are some and sometimes there’s very few! And that’s how we learn about each other and relate and bond. I always think it’s funny when he makes guesses and they’re mostly wrong (this interview, Trevor Noah, etc) lol
Thank you for being ableist and discouraging, for example, ADHD people from their singular way of relating to others. Not everyone is like you. Not everyone functions like you. But kindness is free and support instead of judgement too.

Happy New Year! Happy Birthday Dax! Love to both of you!
I know exactly what you mean, Monica. I moved from Miami over 10 years ago. And it’s no longer “home” whenever I go back to visit.
Monica is so cute, cool and smart. Dax is so sweet with his girls ( family and Monie)
I wonder if Dax has had the realization that he’s been alive in the 2000s more than the 1900s yet.
Wtf
@ I’m a little younger than Dax so I just had this happen to me.
Wow you just made me realize this about myself and I don’t think I like it.
Happy birthday 🎂 I am tripping out cuz I've been binging parenthood and I don't know why I haven't watched it before!!! You are awesome !! 🎉🎉
You did something you didn’t want to do to make yourself better…that landed with me 🎯
Dax is looking like a silver fox 😍
Look how cute y’all are. I like seeing the videos.❤
Greta Gerwig is truly the best! Please interview her!
I feel envious you were there for the NYE biggest disco ever in CDMX!
So enjoy your podcast ❤❤
Yay, thank you!
I hope you went to Xochimilco in CDMX… I hope you come back soon… it’s a marvelous city!!!!
Interesting that sitting "crisscross applesauce" in yoga is called, "Padmasana"! You can't get Padmasana without Padman...just sayin'.
I feel so stupid I thought sitting Indian style was from Native Americans. Thanks for always teaching me Dax and Mon. In other news you both are looking hot!!
Happy Birthdax!!

Why am I not surprised that Monica tells people what to buy her.
Pretty normal for most people to make a gift list

That’s how people relate to each other…. I feel like you should consider why that triggers you so negatively. ❤
That's what I love about him!
I understand your point, and have seen people do what you say, I don’t personally think he does that, though. Have a good new year!
