I owned a pan like that when I lived in Denmark 15 years ago. The dish reminds me of dutch 'poffertjes' but then thicker. Yum!

Serendipitous! I just found a cast iron Aebleskiver pan in my garage yesterday! No idea where it came from, but now I have a recipe to try!!

There's a hardware store in Austin Texas that has and or had a large stock of older discontinued Lodge cast iron.
They eventually sold everything out due to the cast iron craze going on.
Just two days ago I bought the last one of these they had in the store.
I've made eggs Kartoffelpuffers and the Aebleskivers in it so far.
Works great for all manner of things you want to make round.
