Spades has this talent for walking the edge between telling Sandler stories in an almost over-cocky way and respect who have carried his career for decades.

My boss years ago had big money and gave us a fancy 3 course meal at some super fancy spot that i had to dress up for. I felt so uncomfortable at how nice it was. There was atleast 40 people in our section. Found out the whole bill was a bit north of $20k... I had the best meal of my life though, everything was so incredible especially that steak.
I had a similar experience with my boss, but lucky for him there’s only 4 people in our company. A two hour dinner at a fancy restaurant in Cancún, so grateful.

For all you non-geriatrics, a credit card used to be run through a thing called a Dashew plate back in the 1980's. It made an impression of the card onto a slip of paper and made a sound like "SHACONK CONK".
