4:04:06-4:06:12 Fishlegs's unwillingness to turn his back on Hiccup even though everyone else did shows that despite being a "runt," he is braver and more heroic than any of the normal Vikings in the crowd. If risking his freedom and his already low social standing in the Viking community isn't a true act of heroism and friendship, I don't know what is.
Definitely the best bit. He's such an underrated character

I absolutely LOVE how Hiccup is just so calm when he's gonna die and then how he just dramatically told the witch that he's immune to her poison. Also thanks for posting this audiobook and answering most of the comments. 😁

I just had a thought while listening to this: is Furious hypnotising the dragons slightly? Bullheart just went from being happy with Stoick to chanting the Red Rage and trying to kill him. Plus we know sea dragons like Furious have both a powerful hypnotic gaze and telepathy, and the Wodensfang demonstrated the ability to wipe Toothless' memories. So it could be possible that Furious is using the Red Rage chant to maybe not control the dragons since that's the antithesis of his beliefs, but influence them to give in to their anger and hatred.
Great idea! He probably used it on some of the dragons such as Bull heart and toothless, however we see in the first book some dragons don’t really like there owners.
That doe make sense and it could be true. It would explain quite a bit. But also do remember a lot of the dragon were taken when young and forced to work which is were most dragon support came form. The only thing is that it doesn't explain why wing walker didn't go to the red rage and toothless

Omg, yea! I agree with all three of you. It's nice to know that other fellow HP fans listened to this audiobook. I also think that the last book two books was the deathly hallows. ☺️
And I feel like the movie httyd's plot isn't as similar to the book as even HP had been. For example the movie httyd always has a new villain and HP always had Voldy and books httyd had Alvin.

I forgot how hiccup is immune to the witch poison can someone remind me?
Basically in one of the books Alvin shot an arrow at hiccup and it hit his armour hiccup puts this in his bag and sails home thinking fish legs will die because he was on a quest to find a potato (the vegetable of the non existent land of America ) to cure him from vorpent itis and he got home and old wrinkly told hiccup that fish legs did not actually have vorpent itis he was just ill but that meant that hiccup had the illness because the Vorpont had stung someone and suddenly hiccup was falling unconscious and his “last words” were “stab me with my arrow” witch happened to have been in a potato erlier so hiccup was cured from vorpent itis witch was what was on the witches nails hurray!!!🎉

You make a grammar mistake in the title of the video. You say, " Book 9th in the how to train your dragon trilogy, but the correct grammar is book 9 in the how to train your dragon trilogy, not 9th.
