Opening a PS5 Controller and repairing the directional (D) pad

Going for round two on repairing a PS5 controller bought from eBay. Please remember, I'm not an expert/professional at repairing things and this is purely a video made for fun!

Yo joe i got a question so the PS5 Controller it has 4 strips in total 2 connecting to the motherboard and 2 small ones for the bumpers/triggers i was wondering why when i connect one of the strips which is for L1/L2 the controller turns off and stays off and if use a different version then my controllers is that an issue?

I believe it is referred to as the conductive film or circuit. Unsure where to get them but that’s the wording I’ve seen.
