I feel bad for Dirk, these are some of his last seasons in the NBA and he should get to enjoy every game he has left, but its getting ruined by some midget ninja turtle
kuruptzZz Actually, I think in this game, at least, that's what it looked like. He didn't give up so much as get tired of Harden being favored by the refs
think of it as you walk in the door in the morning and the boss tells you your being let go at the end of the day he expects you to give this big prestation to a new client that they hope to win why tell a guy he is gone before a big game and expect him to play his heart out is beyond me
What hurts the most is he was/still is good. You watch most his regular season games since he left Boston and it looks like this. But any playoff game or game against the Celtics and all of a sudden he’s great again. He’s not the same, but he’s still good. He just stopped trying in the regular season after his injury.
+RockSteady Man have you guys fallen since the Webber, Divac, Bibby, Christie, Stojakovic years... such great teams, now thankful for an ok season from Rondo on a horrible team.
+RockSteady Kings and Lakers were the only teams that would take them. You know why? Desperation. Rondo is an egotistical twat who thinks he has power over the coach.
actually you are wrong. 720p is not full hd which this video is. full hd is 1080p. you were fooled because you are watching a 60 fps video. that's 60 frames per second which appears so smooth.
Guy was thinking "don't make any moves. Don't let anyone know you have Dirks towel. In 3 hours this will be on EBAY and we are going to Cancun and quitting this sweat mopping job."
Very quick shot clock on the 8-second violation. By the time Chandler has control of the ball, it's already down to 23. You're not supposed to start the clock once the player touches the ball, its supposed to be once they have control. The game clock on the other hand, starts as soon as someone touches the ball. By the time Rondo dribbles the ball for the first time, its down to 20.
Glad you guys saw that. Real basketball fans would have caught ot immediately. I could see why Rondo was mad. Also look at the ref that made the call. He's BIG for making bad calls.
"Whoever is dumb enough to sign him to a muli year deal, I wish them luck" I think the bulls and lakers were quite happy with what rondo brought. this is an embarrassing showing but the anger in the description is pretty hilarious.
Not anger...it's the truth. He was totally disengaged and checked out of that series...not even trying to make it look like he gave a shit at points. And I say that as someone who knows how good of a player he could be...I'm a UK fan and he was like there as well.
And how is it the defensive player called for a foul if the offensive player pump fakes the ball then the defensive player contests the shot then the offensive player jumps up into him that should be an offensive foul
Jasper Scooby clearly the defender shouldn't leave his feet. Leaving your feet on defense is the worst position to be in cause you can't do anything except hope for a block. If you jump, you're at the offensive players mercy.
He was, but also Rondo was looking at his coach for a play/set. Notice how Rick Carlisle wasn't mad or upset, because he was kinda slow to call a play/set. I believe Carlisle just said "pace, pace". There wasn't any frustration. He was even a bit perplexed at the call. Carlisle was completely unaware of the clock just like Rondo was. Because they were both too busy looking at each other figuring out what set/play to run.. smh. 😔
+SportsNation2015 I think it's pretty simple: Carlisle likes to run a motion offense where the ball moves around & guys make reads based on the defense, instead of having the PG make all the decisions. Rondo was used to that PG-oriented, old-school offense (cuz that's what he did in Boston). That's why they butted heads.
+Matthew Crosby (Crosby627) honestly, the way the organization builds its roster every year is dumb! It's the reason they have 1 ring instead of 5 like the Spurs/Lakers! Instead of drafting decent players or acquiring young talented players and developing them, they keep overhauling their roster every 2 years for the washed up players in free agency. Ray Felton, Rondo, and now D-Will are classic examples of this. Other than Dirk & Parsons, the entire roster is completely different from what it was last year! You can't be a contender with that much overhaul of your roster!
Anybody else think the Mavs scapegoated Rondo? There were a FEW bad defensive plays here... but... Dirk makes SEVERAL bad defensive plays EVERY GAME. "but Bigstudwith a guitar, Dirk is an offensive player, and Rondo is a defensive player." Well... at that point in the game, Rondo was outscoring Dirk too. I'm not a Dirk hater. I'm just sayin... I don't think Rondo deserves this kind of scrutiny. You can see Harden fouling like crazy. You can see the favoritism on the Refs' side. Wasn't this game a rather odd time to pull the plug on Rondo?
It is rondos fault as much as anyone else's tho, because as you can see throughout the whole game, he's getting on everyone else and not doing what he's supposed to do. Terrible teammate. Especially throughout the 8 second violation, he was staring at Rick Carlisle and you can kinda tell he did it on purpose. Although it is Rick's fault for being impatient with him throughout the season
Isaac Noh Nah man. That ain't right 1. I can't remember the last time I saw an 8 second violation that wasn't down the stretch in the 4th. Outside of the 4th quarter, there is really no need for the call. The call is INTENDED to prevent stalling and ensure that the opponent can get some defensive opportunities in the half-court press in the case that the defending team is behind and in need of speeding up the game (to get in some shot opportunities of their own before the game clock runs out). In this case though... the game wasn't close to over, let alone stalling, Rondo just took an extra second to get the ball across halfcourt. The only victim here was Rondo's own team who had only 15 seconds to run a play. Calling this at this time was frivelous (and kind of a redundancy since taking too long in the back-court only negatively effects his own team anyway. 2. Carlisle was talking to Rondo while he was bringing the ball up. I don't know what was being said, but Rondo was "staring at him" for a reason. He was trying to listen (even though it was very loud). He didn't do the 8 second thing on purpose. 3. Even Carlisle was stunned that that call was made. You can see it on his face. You NEVER see that call made in the first half. 4. This call completely threw off the defense as well. The Mavericks were confused and had trouble getting their defense together after this call and Terry came in for the uncontested three. That's a VERY big call, and it shocked professional basketball players. While the call WAS technically "by the book" it just wasn't appropriate. The only victim of Rondo's "sluggishness" was the Mavericks. To call him on such an obscure rule at that point in the game only solidifies the obviousness that the refs WERE against the Mavs that series. Carlisle wasn't bitching about nothing. He spoke out and got a 25,000 dollar fine because the officiating was RIDICULOUS. It CERTAINLY cost the Mavs one game, and POSSIBLY cost the Mavs another. That series was an absolute rig.
Isaac Noh That's what puzzles me. He really didn't do anything that awful. He had a bad run of things. Perhaps some things were said in the locker room (since it was the first play in the 3rd that was his last as a Maverick). He picked up a bullshit foul from Harden, then afterward Harden stiff-shouldered him, and Rondo responded (appropriately, I may add) but the refs only called the T on Rondo. If they were digging into Rondo in the locker room, I can see where a coach might not be too happy when you get a foul and a T 15 seconds out of the gate. It's very easy at that point for Rondo to not give a shit anymore (since he's being blamed by the Mavs, he's getting bullshit calls from the Refs, and he's getting taunted by the Rockets). I really can see both sides here... though I think Rondo should NEVER invite a technical so easily... especially in a playoff game. Let's be real. Rondo was assigned with the biggest defensive assignment IN THE LEAGUE (make no mistake about it. Steph Curry may be better, but you don't have to worry about him fouling you out of a game with bullshit calls). The Mavs weren't appropriately understanding with Rondo, and Rondo wasn't particularly professional in return. Having said all that, it seems to be "scapegoating" to me. If you aren't aware of the origin of the term "scapegoating", in ancient times, entire civilizations have been known to sacrifice goats to atone for their own sins. They would take a goat, and banish it into the desert where it would surely die (and the goat would carry their sins far far away from them). I think this is what the Mavs did with Rondo. Dirk is old, Chandler parsons is injured, Monte is spotty, Tyson Chandler is clumsy, but THEIR shortcomings have all been cleansed by the banishment and blame of Rondo... who... got some bullshit calls against him? If he's not a good personality fit for your team,,, fine... just say so. If he's not an asset to your team, you're playing him wrong (and they are). Since day one, they have been putting him out there as a marginally effective shooting threat out there with several more effective options, and they have been giving him the ball... even though that takes the ball away from Ellis... who is one of the best at creating his own shots in the league. Realistically... I know I have no credentials... but... it was pretty obvious for me that Rondo was NOT what we were looking for when the trade was made, but they traded for him anyway. Once the trade was made, they should at least have divided up the playtime and given Rondo his own B-team... but they didn't... The whole Rondo saga was a stupid trade by the owner, bad offensive coordination by the coaching staff, bad attitude by everyone involved, and all this led to an embarassing show in the playoffs. There is more than enough blame to go around. Next time... work on the players you have first. We made the trade because we "needed a defensive presence." Well... who was the biggest defensive presence that we had come playoff time? AMINU!!! He's been there the whole time, but somehow we had to fuck up, trade off our bench for Rondo, and ass-backwards come to realize that Aminu is the defensive presence we needed all along. My suggestion next year... if you are in the top 2 in the southeast conference next year come december, DON'T TRADE A SOUL FOR MORE THAN 1 PLAYER!!!
bigstudwithaguitar i think it was a pretty decent trade at the moment, but looking back, it was terrible. he was the pass first initiator the mavs didn't necessarily need, but wanted, and it could've quite possibly made them the 2nd best team in the west.
He said he got Mental Issues lol just be happy yall got a Future MVP in LuKa😂😂😂 Rondo better than any previous point guard in franchise history for yall
Loominaty Confirm You IQ are refreshing the whole world, Cavs ever win even ONE NBA champion? HAHAHA, and you know what, Cavs will be swept by 4:0 directly to home like 2006:-)
+ItErtzWhenEfeirt is that why he has only 5 this year? To your credit he is #3 in triple doubles but its still only 5 out of 60 some games. Far cry from a daily basis.
I know as Boston fans we've said "oh it's just Rondo being Rondo" but this is a little bit more. Not being able to shoot worth a damn is one thing but a complete lack of effort in the playoffs in a winnable game is hard to defend. Reminds me of the Manny Ramirez days with the sox. Just Manny being Manny. Never know which side you're going to get on game day
+DirtySouthGaming Well he helped get Boston a championship and kept them competitive for a few years by getting open shots for slow older players like KG & Ray Allen. KG was averaging a double-double in 2012 with Rondo. He got to Brooklyn & couldn't get more than 8 points a game! lol...As a Celtics fan, that's why we loved Rondo! He allowed the Big 3 to look like superstars, even though they were OLD, with his passing ability. If you watched their 2012 ECF with Miami, the team had like 7 rotation guys that were healthy! He put the team on his back & helped push it to 7 games (even dropped 45 in one game). He does rely too much on his quickness & athleticism though. I don't get why he hasn't developed a jumper, since he's almost 30 & he's about to lose that speed pretty soon...but yeah, he does pick and choose when he wants to be fully engaged. He only gave 110% effort in the playoffs or in national TV games with Boston.
+Beastplant1 Rondo is the equivalent of a spoiled child and never once tried to adapt to Carlisle 's system and he was probably mad he was traded in the first place also Why would the coach play someone who refuses to follow the playbook or listen to teammates and only holds the ball to pad his stats ?
As a Mavs fan I'm glad Carlisle has the ability to run the team, coach, call his plays. The players like Rondo that dont want to take coaching or follow in line with what the coach wants can play for another team. Some teams the superstars run the team but Carlisle has always ran Dallas's team and I like that, that's why u hire a coach.
I'm sorry but as a Mavs fan i saw this game live. And i didn't see him quit. That 8sec call was bad. But in his mind he had the ball for 5secs... not making excuses for him! But he competed just like everyone else. He was just made the scapegoat to a lousy performing Mavs team that yr!!!! Carlisle front and center of let downs
It's the Mavs fault, they picked up a guy who doesn't fit in there system at all. Rondo is not a bad player he just got forced into a system that was never going to allow him to flourish.
White Hot Both the team and Rondo made mistakes. The Mavs made the mistake of trading for a guy who doesn't work well for them, but Rondo needs to respect the team that's paying him and play hard.
Right... Like he was supposed to be savior in 3 months... Remember how bad Miami started off when they formed up? Mavs lacked the 3pt gunners that would allow Rondo to run wild with space.. Also Mavs don't have enough players that move without the ball.
I'll never understand this game being the game that Rondo quit on his team, he's literally guarding James Harden or at least trying to which James at the time is one of the best offensive players in the game how is that quitting on your team?
This was difficult to see. I may have not been that much of a basketball fan as I am now (barely knew even the Celtics news back then (hometown team)) but I know this guy was a very good playmaker and leader on the court. What I'm realizing now is what we don't see. Things off the court that leaked into this game a little. He has a horrible attitude. Doesn't matter if you don't like the organization. Doesn't matter about if you heard the team is planning to trade you or not. You play for that team. You're under their contract, you agree to play with those teammates, under that coaching staff, and in front of those fans. He just completely broke the agreement right there. Intentionally passing into turnovers, intentionally putting up bad/difficult shots, and picking up 4 personal fouls and 1 technical foul (due to dirty play at that). If I was an NBA front office, I'm not coming close to Rondo with a contract. At this late point in his career too.
coach even told rondo he wouldnt be with the team anymore before the game. So you're telling me, you have a big baketball game co ming up, and b2fore the game coach Tells you that you Will be gone after the game, and you would play your heart out? hell nah
Just lay off of him. Harden had probably the worst attitude in all of the NBA and many will tell you that. You don't know what Harden said to him or what actually happened so just chill.
Well, look at him in Sacramento he's doing alright he's prob trying to forget this ever happened. Rondo is a great player prob my fav this isn't gonna bug him
And you wasted even more time typing out a comment saying that your time was wasted. Then there are other dumbfucks who also typed generic quips related to their time being wasted. Same with me wasting my time saying all of our time was wasted in typing shit down. God what a waste...
All things considered, he did it his way and still came out a champion in the end AGAIN! He even got sweet revenge on Harden and had a bigger impact in the playoffs than regular season James. Dirk is just bitter because he knew Rondo had juice in him and Dirk was done for already. The entire team was done for. They looked good in the regular season but that was the same year GS started their legend. We could have had CP3 vs Rondo in the next round but we all know how that turned out….
@@theonlygoodonehere2259 Dirk was done. He wasn’t a superstar in 2014. Pretty much everything went down, the team wasn’t gonna win being built around him. Dallas made a mistake making the trade to begin with then blamed Rondo. Rondo had to fight for his reputation and career as he was just coming off an acl injury. Dallas wasn’t even a contender that year. I remember them having a good regular season before the trade then they go ahead and do that losing role players they were using and restricting their new PG who barely had a half season in since his injury rehabilitation. Rondo continued to do very well and have many more special moments in his career. The my tried to write him off after this, a lot of people are reacting to what they see instead of the bigger picture. Dirk had to have that same fire and drive he did when he was playing for a championship in 2011. His career was made and it looked like he was done. Which it pretty much was, he was just collecting money doing the job he loves. In comes Luka and now he can properly fade away.
@@juniorhernandez3347 I don't know if I can agree, questionable not to build around dirk, his team looked pretty bad to me, but rondo was def good for them
I genuinely feel bad for the Mavericks. They were one of the title contenders in the West with Jameer playing point. It gave them so many offensive options and another reliable shooter. Nelson also played decent defense. Its a shame that the Mavs went all in on one guy and it backfired so badly.
honestly most of those fouls called on him were a joke with harden flopping, especially the technical fouls. the one in particular, harden instigates it, gets up in rondos grill, yet rondo gets called for it.
I feel if he would've stayed patient to grow in chemistry with his coach and teammates in Dallas, it would've paid off big time for them next year. The thought of having Rondo, Dirk, Chandler, and Tyson with key undermined players would make the West a lot more tough to come out of. But it seems that Deron Williams has taken that opportunity now, I hope Rondo does well in Sacramento.
@@354allday I see your point ..but I gotta push back. The mavs wouldn't let rondo be rondo...they were taking away his gift. The clippers however where never a chip contender bro. Amongst the talking heads...maybe... But understand the simple fact that they do not have a serviceable 7 foot center , means they will always be a joke. No one to protect the rack. No easy 2 buckets. The clippers are and we're always a joke because they don't have a big man. Zubac soft and montrez was to small. They lose not cuz of rondo but the cause they have no bigs
@@esekay3648 What exact gift is that? Rondo is the only person I hear ppl say the team has to switch what they do to let him do what he does. That means he's not a great point guard if he can't adjust to the gameplay. There's a reason he been on 7 teams in 7yrs. It's only 2 teams in the west that were title contenders Lakers and Clippers. Everybody else were just there to fill space Jazz, Suns Blazers, Mavs those those teams had a shot. We all saw what the Suns did playing against a healthy team. If you have a true superstar player championship is always expected. The Clippers lost Ibaka b4 the playoffs he would've made a big difference. Trez always been a bum and got exposed in the bubble and this past season. Yea Zubac does play soft at times Other than Joker what big in the west is a threat ?AD hates playing the 5 can't stay healthy. Ayton plays soft himself and really doesn't have an offensive arsenal.
@@354allday rondo plays much like cp3 did this year. He is a mystro with the ball . He control the offense makes great decisions with the ball. He is a player with 99 ball control ,pass accuracy with iq. Both in defense and offenses. He swept the blazers a cple years ago with ad. Rondo skill is his brain being an indoor coach. His scoring is limited but rondo makes up for it in other ways. And that is part of the reason why he has 2 rings apart from great teammates. Rondo does his part and is absolute point guard Point guard doesn't mean u score it means u control the game. Ppl have confused the two and now players like rondo, scottie skiles, actual pgs can't get credit for managing the game.
@@354allday also lebron on plays one system. Teams have to switch what they would normally do to switch to his iso offense for him to be effective. Rondo plays his position. Most teams don't want a pg. They want 2 she, and thats why they are so sloppy and turn over ridden. U don't need 2 back court scorers. You need 1 and someone who can manage the game. Rondo is that manager, that on floor coach

Great way to put it
Very true
It happened to me boss came to me and said we have to let you go but you can finish the day but I wasn't going to get paid LIKE WTF
+Jasper Scooby (JOKER J 420) that is so funny. I see that happening to me in the future

Rondo like “You have been kicked for inactivity” headass
Here after Rondo said they told him coach didn't want to coach him. Gives a new perspective to this video
LOL, he's a professional, did any of this look like a pro to you? Dude was ass, cope harder for this loser lol, rondo ass
Most overrated person in human history as far as we know

Rondo's Mavericks season ina nutshell.
Fuckin Franklin the Turtle
What hurts the most is he was/still is good. You watch most his regular season games since he left Boston and it looks like this. But any playoff game or game against the Celtics and all of a sudden he’s great again. He’s not the same, but he’s still good. He just stopped trying in the regular season after his injury.
He came to my kings right after this season and played really well tbh never had an issues either.
Every employee everywhere putting in that two week notice.
Now imagine you could fuck up that shift and still get paid the same to go on vacation early
I wouldn't blame him for quitting after 0:25....😐😐
same
Why? He passed it behind him, it was Rondo's fault.
+Chandler Smith that's what I was saying 😑😑😑😑😑😑
+gamelover162 ohhh I see what you mean 😂
But rondo passed the ball...
And we welcomed Rondo with open arms and hes producing like an all-star for us. Thanks Mavs.
+RockSteady Man have you guys fallen since the Webber, Divac, Bibby, Christie, Stojakovic years... such great teams, now thankful for an ok season from Rondo on a horrible team.
Oh well thats how the cards fall, what can I do about it?
+RockSteady True. Youre better off than me, im a sixers fan...
+RockSteady
Kings and Lakers were the only teams that would take them. You know why? Desperation. Rondo is an egotistical twat who thinks he has power over the coach.

Dude, the quality of this video is amazing

true 2016 hd
actually you are wrong. 720p is not full hd which this video is. full hd is 1080p. you were fooled because you are watching a 60 fps video. that's 60 frames per second which appears so smooth.
guest 😧
there's always that one guy lol
Just found out it was the other way around. The team quit on him because Rick Carlisle didn’t want to work with Rondo anymore.
Did anyone notice at around 4:00 that Dirk throws his towel and it lands on some random dudes arm... and the guy just leaves it there?? Hahahaha
+Jack O'Leary LOL
Dude, it's Dirk fuckin Nowitzki...I would've framed it if it landed on me!
U sir have a good eye
Guy was thinking "don't make any moves. Don't let anyone know you have Dirks towel. In 3 hours this will be on EBAY and we are going to Cancun and quitting this sweat mopping job."
That was shameful. Hope Dirk and Tyson gave him a "code red" in the locker room after the game.
The thing is he was the one playing horrible not his teammates.
yeah because he didn't like him team so he was playing like shit
Rondo shot the ball.if he wasn’t engaged why look to score? He was reaching on defense
Very quick shot clock on the 8-second violation. By the time Chandler has control of the ball, it's already down to 23. You're not supposed to start the clock once the player touches the ball, its supposed to be once they have control. The game clock on the other hand, starts as soon as someone touches the ball. By the time Rondo dribbles the ball for the first time, its down to 20.
yeah that was a bad call
Glad you guys saw that. Real basketball fans would have caught ot immediately. I could see why Rondo was mad. Also look at the ref that made the call. He's BIG for making bad calls.
The Mavs coach was also talking to Rondo, so he wasn't aware of the shot clock.
its a shame cause i love basketball but thats just typical nba bullshit
"Whoever is dumb enough to sign him to a muli year deal, I wish them luck"
I think the bulls and lakers were quite happy with what rondo brought. this is an embarrassing showing but the anger in the description is pretty hilarious.
Not anger...it's the truth. He was totally disengaged and checked out of that series...not even trying to make it look like he gave a shit at points. And I say that as someone who knows how good of a player he could be...I'm a UK fan and he was like there as well.
Anyone here after good games with Lakers in 2020 playoffs 😄
I hope they do away with that touch foul shit it's ruining the game
Thank you. I hate that crap.
It's so unbelievably stupid. They should especially institute it on Harden, who's entire game plan revives around it.
Well unfortunately your wish was not granted
Mavs will always be my team no matter what... But I wonder why A lot of players end up leaving 😓
Every star player either leaves Dirk or makes it all about themselves. He deserves more from how much he puts in.
Lmao rondo is one of the best teammates ever in the nba. All about themselves are u kidding me.
lol
+Jake Johnson ur kidding right?
+FinMcool21 the teammates he's been around after Boston just haven't been a good fit for him.
+FinMcool21 He didn't want Dallas. He was fit for Boston and wanted to be there until he retired
Playoff Rondo. Was also good with the Bulls in 2016 who would have gotten further had he Not gotten injured.
it was actually 2017
I remember that 8 second. I was actually watching the clock. He was done with them, for whatever reason.
Because they were both too busy looking at each other figuring out what set/play to run.. smh. 😔
Your obviously a huge Mavs fan but think about this something obviously was going on on the inside of the organization that was affecting him.
he's obviously a huge mavs fan if his channel name is dirk nowitzki, lol
Epik_Cow Yes I know that but if he didn't make this video he could of been one of those fake NBA players who troll on NBA videos
+SportsNation2015 As a Mavs fan I don't put all the blame on Rondo.
"but Bigstudwith a guitar, Dirk is an offensive player, and Rondo is a defensive player."
Well... at that point in the game, Rondo was outscoring Dirk too.
Isaac Noh
Nah man. That ain't right
That series was an absolute rig.
bigstudwithaguitar i guess. then what was the reason for Rondo not being played?
Isaac Noh
That's what puzzles me.
We made the trade because we "needed a defensive presence."
Well... who was the biggest defensive presence that we had come playoff time?
He didn't even want to sit on the bench with teammates.

+ItErtzWhenEfeirt is that why he has only 5 this year? To your credit he is #3 in triple doubles but its still only 5 out of 60 some games. Far cry from a daily basis.
+ItErtzWhenEfeirt Yet only 2 people have at least 10 triple doubles and it isn't Rondo
well well well...
Never know which side you're going to get on game day
+Beastplant1 He was also not 100%. It's obvious that he didn't trust his body that whole year in Dallas!
Lol and now look at Rondo. Somehow still ends up being the assist leader for this season. Good for him
Who’s here after rondo just won another ring with the lakers?
Oh man I cannot wait for this new great addition.
Rondo belongs in boston.
He really does
He belongs in the D-League.

Whose here after hearing what really happen after this game 😮
It's the Mavs fault, they picked up a guy who doesn't fit in there system at all. Rondo is not a bad player he just got forced into a system that was never going to allow him to flourish.
Fuck Rondo he is a damn disgrace. Just straight gave up on his team
White Hot Both the team and Rondo made mistakes. The Mavs made the mistake of trading for a guy who doesn't work well for them, but Rondo needs to respect the team that's paying him and play hard.
White Hot Rondo is good but he has a terrible attitude towards basically anyone. Carlisle tried coaching him but rondo basically told him to fuck off
Right... Like he was supposed to be savior in 3 months... Remember how bad Miami started off when they formed up? Mavs lacked the 3pt gunners that would allow Rondo to run wild with space.. Also Mavs don't have enough players that move without the ball.
***** It's over for Dirk.....
I'll never understand this game being the game that Rondo quit on his team, he's literally guarding James Harden or at least trying to which James at the time is one of the best offensive players in the game how is that quitting on your team?
I am a Dallas fan and I like Rajon Rondo and I blame Rick for failure that year because that could’ve worked
I was confused on this game ,if this playoffs or not..they usually put stickers on the court if its playoffs

We could have had CP3 vs Rondo in the next round but we all know how that turned out….
so what are you getting at with this comment? mavs were a bad team since 2012, because management failed to surround dirk with enough talent

Deja Vu?

he was wrong in that players don't do something like this for no reason. It's the game they love and their career, after all
thats why we love Playoff Rondo lol
He knew what he was doing, he was making a statement
To this day, I regret leaving the Mavs. I became a journeyman after that.
Naw, you won a chip. It's all good lmao.
honestly most of those fouls called on him were a joke with harden flopping, especially the technical fouls. the one in particular, harden instigates it, gets up in rondos grill, yet rondo gets called for it.
thank's for making this video
I feel if he would've stayed patient to grow in chemistry with his coach and teammates in Dallas, it would've paid off big time for them next year. The thought of having Rondo, Dirk, Chandler, and Tyson with key undermined players would make the West a lot more tough to come out of. But it seems that Deron Williams has taken that opportunity now, I hope Rondo does well in Sacramento.
Rondo plays better in boston.
Jade Pascual duh bc that was his prime
+Team Fusion nigga right now is supposed to be his prime and he can't even average 10 ppg
Team Fusion most players peak between 27 and 30. hes 30 now. His attitude ruined his career.
Jade Pascual yeah cause they had other people to hide his fuck ups

He was on the only championship Celtics team I ever watched live. I loved this guy. And now... What a loathsome guy.
I won’t take any Rondo slander. I see a competitive guy that plays defense his way and got some bs calls against him

YoureAPillock semi pro

The crazy thing... Rondo has more rings than any other star on the floor
Well at this time he didn't.. imagine him allegedly being the missing piece for championship contenders and flopping. Clippers and Mavs
Rondo does his part and is absolute point guard
Point guard doesn't mean u score it means u control the game.

Rondo never fit in with Dallas. He didn't like their play style, and now he's in Sacramento happy to be throwing dimes again
And losing
reign W0V3! Like he was winning anything huge in Dallas. Lmao
+reign W0V3! When one goes to Sacramento you don't expect to win
sM Vibezz Going to Dallas does though?
yes they are in the playoffs almost every year
No matter how many time I rewind, that doesn't count 8 seconds.
I feel like he was paid to do that
I do too.. He never did anything like this when he was playing for the Celtics... At least I don't think so lol.. He had to have been blackmailed or something
+Ian Escalante the coach told him he was being released after this game and wanted rondo to play his heart out. I dont blame rondo for what he did lol.
+keion price you're lying
+Yaahboi52 technically he's not lying because he knew the Mavericks weren't going to keep him so Rondo just gave up
I mean technically he was paid to do that
OP’s description did not age well, the Lakers sure were grateful for Playoff Rondo
This guy wrote a full character analysis on Rondo in the video description and tbh Rondo deserved it.
What a trash attitude but tbh the Mavs suck so he's just frustrated
A Raptors fan calling another team trash. Lol the irony.
+Frosty semi finals team, not very trash.
+Frosty an anime fan, calling another team trash... oh the irony
+Frosty raptors made semi finals... dont seem trash to me 👀
The Raptors made semi finals and handed the Cavs their first loss in the post-season. You sound upset that a Canadian team is banging in your home team. We advanced to the post-season 3 seasons in a row. We're not the same Raptors from when Bargs played 5 years ago. You should see how intense ball is here in Toronto. You'd be surprised.
He's a 2020 CHAMPION tho 😌💜💛💜💛💜🤞🏾
Celtics 2008
Lakers 2020
2018 - "Rajon Rondo set a franchise record for most assists in a playoff game with 21 assists. He also became only the 3rd player in NBA history to record multiple 20-assist games in the postseason."

retired, but yes he did
