The church was built by the British for those who died during anglo Afghan war hence the name.It’s a majestic church and one of the oldest in South Mumbai. I suppose this beautiful performance is a symbol of national integration in itself.

Ultimately that is what music is - it transcends language, culture, religions and brings forth something deeper - that as human beings we yearn to connect with other souls through common appreciation of something external that touches each of us internally also. I got an opportunity to listen to this great sages once in our college(NIT Warangal). Sir Vikku was also accompanied by his son along with his grandson who is performing here. They all r talented no doubt. But you must hear him once, he has got such a sense of humour. He could even perform standup comedy with Carnatic music i bet. Jay ho, such great talents

I got an opportunity to listen to this great sages once in our college(NIT Warangal). Sir Vikku was also accompanied by his son along with his grandson who is performing here. They all r talented no doubt. But you must hear him once, he has got such a sense of humour. He could even perform standup comedy with Carnatic music i bet.
