  • Reworks have been a topic of conversation for a long time. So let's talk about how we should rework the Anemo Archon himself!

    Not every character rework implies a character has a “bad” kit, or that I don't like the character. Some reworks may be chosen for the sake of exploring new options.
    ===Rework Guidelines===
    1) Reworked characters must have the same element and weapons.
    2) The main scalings should remain consistent or should feel thematically accurate.
    3) The identity and team roles of a unit should remain consistent or feel thematically accurate to the character’s identity.
    4) In calculations, characters and weapons are level 90, while the talents are all 8. Artifact substats aren't included. Enemy DEF/RES, constellations, and external buffs aren't included unless I say so. If Enemy DEF/RES is included, assume enemy level is 100 and Base RES is 10%.

    I just believe that Venti needs more love from the Genshin devs. They should rework him to be the archon that he is. All the other archons are very useful on their own, Venti is very situational.

      you guys crapping on raiden mommy too much. She saves 50% ! FIFTY on ANYTHING that costs mora on polearms and swords. Do you know how much that is? HALF THE GOOD CHARACTERS IN THE GAME USE POLEARMS

    Venti’s swirls should ignore the PECH priority and instead swirl ALL elements his abilities come into contact with. This would give him an exclusive edge in some multi element teams.

    As someone who loves on field dps characters, I'd love if Venti's C6 would allow him to become one similarly to Nahida and Furina
    And his current C6 is basically a third of the viridescent venerer 4pc
    My version of his new C6 would be "Within the duration of Wind's Grand Ode, Venti will enter the Skyward descent state in which his normal attacks gain an Anemo infusion and the Anemo dmg bonus granted by "Embrace of Winds" is increased by 50% (0.4% -> 0.6%) [or] and each normal attacks will launch two Splitting Winds arrows simultaneously, each equal to 33% of his normal Attack's dmg for up to 6 normal attacks.
    Additionally, ennemies hit by the Stormeye of Wind's Grand Ode will have their anemo res decresed by 20% of Venti's Energy Recharge and the elemental res of absorbed element by 20% (flat) "
    Since the duration has already been increased by 2s in this rework, he could be onfield for 10s, plus as an Archon with his full power Venti wouldn't just sit back while other people do the work for him. So he would basically have Wanderer's and Kazuha's C6 in his, which thematically would be pretty cool in my opinion

      He kinda is an archon to just sit back and let others do the work for him, thats basically what happened with mondstadt, but I see your point
      Kirara is my favorite character but obviously she’s not meant to be a dps and while her c6 is good I really wish she could get a dendro infusion like furina :

    As much as I still feel that venti is a good unit, I have to admit it does sting that he is by far the least 'meta' archon so I would love to see him get a better kit maybe in like a dan heng scenario?

      Venti is still the best grouper in the game, but the fact that there are more and more enemies that cant be grouped now sadly just decreases his value. I wish they’d just add something like, using his hold skill decreases enemies’ overall res to all elements by 20%. If furina can make mh possible on any unit, he should be able to stack with vv in a terrifying way.

    My biggest issue with Venti isn't his kit, it's that he suffers from early constellation syndrome. Most modern day 5*s follow a path of the more constellations you unlock, the more you can play them in a brand new way.

    Here's a thought, Allow Venti to swirl Geo into a sandstorm dealing Geo dmg to enemies. Also allow him to swirl Dendro into a leaf storm, thus allowing him to swirl all the elements instead of just the basic ones.

      Anemo swirling dendro makes all sorts of comps worthless, because whom swirls can take ownership of bloom or hyperbloom reactions, and if they have high EM like Kazuha, they become great drivers for said reactions. Same reason why Dendro and Cryo not reacting is good since it allows teams like fridge, since the cryo aura only consumes half of the elemental gauge of water, allowing water to both freeze and create bloom cores with a single attack, and frozen enemies can't run away from core explosions.

      @@Bronze_Age_Sea_Person Not really, it doesn't change the reaction table any more than any other reaction. Sure, it would invalidate certain teams, but as you seemed to miss it, I was talking about Venti and just Venti having this effect.

      genshin is strict lorewise, that's why dendro is restricted to 3 elements in producing reactions. though, geo and anemo reaction should be added only to certain characters as many teams rely on the neutrality of geo and anemo to each other

    honestly raidens exploration passive should be that 1: she ALWAYS has the little electro floaty with all of its effects. and 2: while she has her skill active her jumps and dodges should become short range blinks (even while climbing) making her extremely fast.

    I still don't think his main problem is solved. He's amazing pretty much everywhere else, but his problem is that in places where his cc doesn't matter, he's basically useless, and while he's less bad in those cases, he's still pretty bad.
    My suggestion is, to replace his ER scalings, which I get but still don't feel great, with a talent that just buffs his swirl damage to the moon. Like you said, giving him too much buffing is stepping on Sucrose/Kazuha's toes. Right now, to a single target in a group of 2 (important because swirl damage is AOE but you can only take 2 instances at a time) he does about 5k with just his talent damage and swirl, a little higher than that when you factor in something like ec, and up to 10k DPS with aggravate. I can see your changes bringing those numbers up 25%, maybe a little more but I honestly want to go at least double them in teams where he's only doing swirl reactions, with less of a power increase in the teams where he's doing other reactions using the swirled elements. So honestly I probably want to straight up double swirl damage when using Venti. Is this way too much in the places you already used him? Absolutely. But that's what you need to do to make him useful in floor 12, and I probably still wouldn't use him for bosses.

      I wonder if maybe instead of just buffing his swirl damage, he could buff the the whole team's swirl damage, which includes his swirls... think of like how Nilou buffs blooms. But without the team element limitation
      All other archons buff the other characters to some degree... iirc.. zhongli's shield shreds enemy res (functionally buffs the on field character), Nahida buffs with her burst, Furina buffs with her burst.... I don't know raiden's kit well enough but she gives a ton of energy, which in a way is a roundabout "buff" (less ER on a character means more atk and crits substats).
      What does venti do for the team??

    This rework actually makes him an archon, he finally isn't just a situational version of Kazuha. Would be even more amazing if he was able to shred resistance at base kit as well, because he doesn't seem to have much supportive buffs like the other archons, even if it's only 25%, this alone will allow him to go more damage dps sets, especially combined with c2 and he can basically have 100% uptime on it. This alone would change the way venti is used; Now he is better in longer fleshed out rotations, while Kazuha is better in quick-swap/ short rotations, it also would give him viability in mono anemo and mono geo teams (so we can FINALLY have a geo grouper).

    I love your videos, they're very creative! Characters I think would be interesting for a rework are Dehya (no surprise there lol), Klee (I always thought that it would be cool if her burst worked off-field), Xiao (mainly because of his constellations because what on earth are some of them lmao), Albedo, Diluc or Mona (there's like no reason to use her over Furina or Kokomi, so it would be cool if she had more of a unique identity).

    for one of his constellations maybe c6 i probably do like a ganyu charge attack. instead of a "frostflake arrow" it will be a "tether arrow". So enemies hit with it will become more likely to be sucked into or become "tethered" to his ult. this way you can make big enemies like the samurais and mitachurls now be able to be sucked into his ult. not dramatically like the small guys but like slowly being pulled back into the black hole. tethered enemies will be marked with a hook symbol, max enemies that can be hook will be 4 and it doesn't affect the small ones. they will be marked for 12 seconds and it can be reapplied to refresh the timer every 3s. and for any enemy hit by his ult, they would have have the 4pc affect of vv but better. Enemies hit by ventis ult will have 40% elemental res by all elements and increase swirl by 60% for 10s. hes the anemo archon he should op when he's c6

    Here's my idea of Venti rework, thank you for asking...
    Every Archon so far except for Venti has something to do with their respective Elemental Resonance. So my main focus is basically on how he can buff party members with movement speed and attack speed while still able to be a CC menice himself
    E I'm actually agree since waistinv one slot of A1 for this function is kinda absurd
    Q now has a hold function, when released he'll start his normal animation but the tornado will now be place where he aimed (even if it's on the ground)
    A1 when E is used with a hold function the wind current will now buff teammates with movement speed and normal attack speed by 12%
    A4 after Venti's burst is used party members have their abilities CD reduced by 15%

      Ooh. I like this idea very much. To add (or perhaps swap around) with your A1, make stamina consumption from dashing 0 for a few seconds. And while I like your A4 design, 15% doesn't feel enough, especially for short cool downs. So instead, I propose a flat 5 second reduction on all current cool downs. This would synergies with his energy refunding mechanic (that is if we still want him to keep that), encouraging teams to play fast and go nuts, especially for characters who have short burst cool downs (mostly the ones with 40 cost bursts)

    The Title speak so much, in General, Devs should consider reworking characters. reworking is not something new in games, yet its beneficial specially for those characters that have been released earlier. This concept of reworking should be considered since not all players can have access to the beta. Official released players can give a lot of data/suggestion since we are many than the average beta testers. IM NOT TALKING ABOUT THE DAMAGE OUTPUT but in general clunkiness of specific kits and not so clever animations (for 5 star *cough* rice lee *cough*). there's a lot of things to look for. *cough* Geo element *cough*

    I’d give him a swirl effect on his charge shot like the BP bow and a way to quick charge it like yelan or tighnari. Even if it’s not the most useful, it would give him an extra little something.

    Venti is weird, his Constelations clearly want him to be a on fielder which is how I use him.
    I use him with Zhongli, Geo MC, Faruzan and him because Im a MC main but as needed I do switch to Zhongli, Bennet, Faruzan and him with a pure dps build.

      @@giacobers3076 Lol blame the developers, they made all his constelations shred Anemo and enhance his charged shots and made his best matchimg bow a Crit bow via Skyward harp.
      They clearly wanted him to be a DPS with those in mind.

    Would very much love it if Music would be the over all central theme of his kit and just like every archon providing unique buffs and debuffs to enemy depending on elements being swirled.
    Swirling pyro gives atk% boost - then debuffs enemy resistance, hydro dmg% boost - reduces dmg enemy dmg, Electro ER% increase - reduces enemy def, and finally Cryo increases critrate and reduces movement speed of the enemy.
    Considering Venti represents freedom they can also make him the only one capable of making elemental reaction to Dendro and Geo.
    Plus design perspective they should really incorporate his wings or his burst summons a heavenly choir of the heroes of Monstadt considering VENTI able to gather souls in his story quest.

    Fellow Venti Fan! He's my favorite too (and my main: Crit Skyward Harp Venti ftw!) 💚
    I love the changes you made, especially the ones to the skill and the targeting of the burst (i love him but omg why is his targeting trash), sad about the nerf, but it is necessary, and I'm glad you reworked his passives! (That utility passive is amazing and would make him awesome, to get use for him in exploration rn i use geo traveler, venti, then switch to kazuha for maximum height lol). The C4 is wonderful! Though it only working against an opponent nerfs the use in overworld, it's very useful for teams eithout a shield/catalyst users with high-cost CAs!
    Also as a Main DPS Venti user, having the extra arrows as part of the base kit would be hilarious bc they really aren't that useful unless the target gets hit by all three consistently bc the extra arrows have less damage so you're still punished for your bad aim lol. Not like other bow units don't have their own special charged attacks, give Venti one too! Though, instead of having them be part of the base CA, maybe they could be a second level, like Tighnari's, while the first level is just his default charged attack?
    Overall, amazing work! I wasn't expecting much, but you really put a lot of thought into this, and I can't wait to see who you do next!
    Also, don't knock the Physical Venti! It's actually super fun (my team is Beidou, Xingqiu, Mika if anyone wants to give it a shot!) It also works pretty well in the Abyss!

    i would love a venti rework to make him the ultimate mobility creep character - allowing you to proper fly around and all that out of combat

    Great idea for a series!
    When I found your channel, I decided to make my own characters kits, weapons, and also changes for other characters (not necessarily weak or underused, but also really good characters, like Bennett). Venti was my first to change, so here are my tweaks!
    Base Stats:
    (Nothing changed other than his Ascension Stat)
    32% Energy Recharge → 115 Elemental Mastery
    Normal Attack
    (Normal Attack is the same as before, but I changed his Charged Attack to be more like Yoimiya's):
    Performs a more precise Aimed Shot with increased DMG.
    While aiming, favorable winds will accumulate on the arrowhead. Different effects will occur based on the time spent charging.
    ·Charge Level 1: Fires off an Anemo-infused arrow, dealing Anemo DMG.
    ·Charge Level 2: Generates a maximum of 3 Feathered Arrows based on time spent charging, releasing them as part of this Aimed Shot. Feathered Arrows will home in on nearby opponents, dealing Anemo DMG on hit.
    Elemental Skill
    (I also added him an off-field DMG on skill, and his press also doesn't lift enemies):
    Press
    Summons a Divine Winds at the opponent's location, dealing AoE Anemo DMG.
    Hold
    Summons an even larger Divine Winds with Venti as the epicenter, dealing AoE Anemo DMG and launching affected opponents into the air. After unleashing the Hold version of this ability, Venti rides the wind into the air.
    Said current outside of combat will last for 20s.
    Opponents affected by the Hold version of this ability will be much more impacted by the sucking effect of Wind's Grand Ode.
    (// Basically, heavier enemies will be more easily pulled in.)
    Divine Winds
    After casting an Elemental Skill, Divine Wind Current will be summoned to the opponent's location, prioritizing the target of the active character, dealing AoE Anemo DMG every 2,5s. This is considered as Divine Winds Press DMG.
    (Kinda like Furina's skill)
    Elemental Burst:
    (Same as before, but it's not in the air and is spawned right under him and lasts 10s):
    Fires off an arrow made of countless coalesced winds, creating a huge Stormeye on the ground at his position that sucks in opponents and deals continuous Anemo DMG.
    Elemental Absorption
    If the Stormeye comes into contact with Hydro/Pyro/Cryo/Electro, it will deal additional elemental DMG of that type.
    Elemental Absorption may only occur once per use.
    Passive Talents
    (I had same thoughts about his A1, it's kinda weird that they made it as a passive)
    1. Each point of Elemental Mastery Venti possesses grants him:
    ·0,1% Charged Attack DMG
    ·0,04% Anemo DMG Bonus.
    2. Regenerates 15 Energy for Venti after the effects of Wind's Grand Ode end.
    If an Elemental Absorption occurred, this also restores 15 Energy to all characters of that corresponding element in the party.
    3. Decreases gliding Stamina consumption for your own party members by 20%.
    Not stackable with Passive Talents that provide the exact same effects
    (Nothing changed)
    Constellations:
    C1. Wind's Grand Ode radius is increased by 33%.
    C2. Opponents affected by Hold version of Skyward Sonnet will be affected by the following effects:
    ·Swirl Reaction DMG they receive can score CRIT Hits. CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG are fixed at 20% and 100% respectively.
    ·Within 8s of being affected by Swirl, DEF is decreased by 30%.
    (Nahida's C2, but for Swirl)
    C3. Increases the Level of Wind's Grand Ode by 3.
    Maximum upgrade level is 15.
    C4. Skyward Sonnet decreases opponents Anemo, Geo, Dendro and Physical RES by 20% for 10s.
    When Skyward Sonnet's attack swirl an element, enemies will have their corresponding RES decreased by 15% for 10s. Decrease for different elements can co-exist.
    C5. Increases the Level of Skyward Sonnet by 3.

    C6. While Wind's Grand Ode is active, the amount of time taken to charge a shot is decreased by 80%. Venti now can fire a Time-Stopping Arrow, which will have similar abilities to Charge Level 2 Arrow. DMG dealt by Charged Attack will be increased by 1111% of Venti's Elemental Mastery.
    And these are my changes, and sorry in advance if something is not clear 😅. His NA, Skill and Burst DMG is same as before. I wasn't doing any calculations, so something might be too strong/weak.
    As for what character you could do next, Chongyun could be interesting.

      I really like the idea you came up with for his Charged Attack, I think that would make his existing C1 a lot more viable if he'd shoot off 9 homing arrows instead!
      I also think it'd be better to have his Ascension stat be EM, especially since his BIS weapon is an ER weapon.
      His Skill having off-field damage potential is a really cool idea, however it wouldn't work well with the VV artifact set as you need to be on-field when the swirl happens to get the resistance shred.
      I like his new constellation ideas you came up with, especially his C2. But again, I would still keep his original C1 if the homing arrows could increase to 9.
      Overall, very cool ideas! 10/10!

      As a C2 Venti haver, I'd LOVE to have your C1 and C2. He deserves the beefy def shred that Raiden and Nahida have at C2. C4 making him an universal shredder for non-swirl elements could be pretty cool too, especially for geo teams who don't get any source of CC

    I think Venti's passive should convert EM into Anemo dmg bonus and also increase the energy regen from his A1, not the other way around, but other than that, this looks perfect for him.
    Venti's ascension stat should also be EM, not ER. He doesn't need any ER at all if you manage his energy properly, it's possible to run 100% ER Venti in mono-anemo and the passive ER is just wasted. And the little you do need in other teams can be gotten with an ER sands (you only need 40% or so max). So if his passive converted EM -> extra energy from A1, you could completely ditch ER completely and he'd work perfectly fine, especially since it doesn't matter whether he's offield or onfield to get the full energy refund
    Two stats increasing is too broken + you don't really want much ER on him anyways, his burst costs 45 energy (he always gets his burst up well before time with 140% ER on my team), so all that passive does is be useless and make players hate it for existing and making them hopeful for a minute

    As a faithful Venti main, I wouldn't change anything: only add a few things here and there.
    Not having to go after every small mob is the best about him, so I would keep crowd control. For bigger enemies we have 3 other characters in the party, Venti can wait a bit (or use his skill, or a charged ATK for stubborn mobs left in the end. I have Amos' Bow on him, which does the trick).
    I agree with all buff potential, adding buffs to the elements he swirls with, more particles, decreased RES, etc. Sounds great!
    Mentioning healing gave me an idea too: Venti could increase other characters' DEF as a passive talent. Makes sense with his lore too, with the whole "may the Anemo Archon protect/bless you" and such.
    Also, hold E could have a couple swirls while active, instead of just staying there after being used once (and I love the idea of flying higher outside of combat, by the way).
    And finally, charged attack with AoE. If I'm not mistaken, Skyward Harp does that (or something similar), but it would be nice to be part of the character.
    I can't say for all, but I feel like a good part of the people who play Venti consistently (if not most) agree that the "simplicity", or what makes him "boring/situational" to some, is the best part for us. Venti people enjoy simply watching his burst roll the enemies. Occasionally press E, or add more elements to the swirl soup. That's about all the effort some of us make 😇🍃

    If i were to rework venti, given the current power of newer characters, i would take your idea of the ground vortex and make it his skill with typical archon 100% uptime and the burst would can be some form of buff, for example extra energy gained my all the characters or damage bonus buff. For overworld, the skill can have a tap and hold version, tap gives you the wind current, hold gives you the vortex

    maybe they would change older characters like venti by making them a new kit to fix the problem of "being too old", maybe by being able to swap between kits when you reach lv10 friendship(or smth else to be honest) with them, this way people can enjoy a new venti without removing the one people like.

    This suggestion fits comfortably for an Archon, He’s also my favorite one (got the boy tattooed in my leg) and I really think he deserves a rework specially considering he is the first banner.. Hoyo improved a lot in terms of cohesion for the gamplay, and Venti is out of the stage 🥹

    one thing i thought of is a swirl damage increase for each 10% crit damage/5% crit rate venti has (similar to VV set, maybe for 10% crit he gets 20% swirl damage%, and it increases like nilou's passive for blooms mathematical wise)
    with the modified elemental skill in mind, venti building crit would be his best build since his anemo damage multiplier is genuinely high, and he can do that constantly, so letting him get swirl dmg bonus from crit makes him get both the benefits of building EM and also his raw anemo damage, however it'll severely limit his damage potential in mono anemo teams cuz theres no swirls

    Because you mentioned Xinyan I think that the best thing to fix her is turning her def scaling into hp scaling, and limitade the pyro applycation or increase it to make it more like a hybrid between sub dps and dps like deyha

    I love Venti so much and I've always wondered how he'd look like post 3.0
    Although I wish you played with Cooldown Reduction more and make Skyward Harp undeniably his Signature even if Elegy is better stats-wise. I've always felt it was kinda crummy for people to act like Harp was never his Signature, his BiS is Elegy the same way Kazuha's BiS is Freedom Sworn but his Signature will always be Isshin.
    His C6 should match the pattern of making him an on-fielder in my opinion, making his arrows infused with Anemo after doing a skill or giving him a Charged ATK boost, I think it'd be fun

    Oh Xinyan will be ok, Pyro is the element of damage and attack, she could be a physical shielder (doesn't apply pyro) that buffs the on-field character's attack based on her defense, making her a defense scaling shielder/buffer with a single big shield while Thoma has the stackable shield with application. And that would keep her niche since the shield would buff her when she's on-field while her constellations would give her defense scaling on normal/charged attacks, making her very strong with defense and physical.

    Since I also really love Venti too, mostly because of his seiyuu. I have thought of plenty of ways to make Venti more universal, I would like to say my suggestions to change his skill and burst and not comment on the rest of his kit. I would say it would be better if he was a catalyst so he use his lyre more in combat and launch musical notes on enemies, I guess if he's still a bow him actually launching just feathers then switch to his lyre to deal physical damage that looks like musical notes is fun too since most characters nowadays have some kind of new gimmick to their NA, for example Collei not just firing arrows but halfway through starts hurling boomerangs instead. For his skill, before Xianyun was released I wanted his skill to be like Xianyun's burst but without healing or buffing, so it basically just makes everyone Xiao just using a skill, but I also wanted him to deal consistent anemo damage offield with his skill, inspired by Xianyun I guess whenever a character that has the skill effect of Venti on them will be able to jump higher but as they jump a burst wind will appear around them and deal damage to surroundinh enemies, for me that's good enough as a simple way to rework his skill, and I don't really want to get in to how to balance the damage. For his burst I think for the animation I would like him to sprout wings of some sort of use his cape to flap then fly, still using his bow he either shoots the arrow upwards still creating the same vortex but with stronger pulling, not so strong though, enemies that charge forwards or backwards still have chabce to escape the pull temporarily, I guess to make it less inaccessible, he shoots the arrow upwards but it will explode and rain down for initial burst damage, then a vortex will spawn to the nearest enemy around him, that or he flies upwards then shoot the arrow downwards still exploding and creating that vortex, just like Yoimiya, I would say whenever a enemy that was the previous epicenter of his vortex dies, it will just transfer to the nearest enemy, also I guess I forget to mention in my version of this rework, to avoid his burst missing the clump of enemies, the votex will spawn using the enemy as the epicenter, and when it comes to heavier enemies, the vortex will priorities using the heaviest enemy as the epicenter, do not that the vortex itself is attached to the enemy, I would say it's a combination of Faruzan's pressurized collpase and Yoimiya's burst, as for the cd, I would say make it 12sec with a 15 sec cd, I would liek it to be more spammable with basically 100% uptime, of course in terms of damage maybe instead if lowering the burst damage for more uptime, his burst energy cost becomes 80 instead, making him more reliant to ER stats that he already ascend with. Atleast that's how I would like Venti to be reworked.

    TBH, i'd have liked Venti's ult to be able to attach to enemies. I think this would solve his problem vs. bosses that can just walk out of his ultimate. The ult would attach to an enemy near its landing location (only after sucking them in), changing who it sticks to if it happens to kill the enemy it's stuck to.
    I think it would also be nice to make his new A4 passive boost EITHER anemo dmg OR EM, based on whichever stat is higher, allowing people who want big venti numbers to achieve that, while also allowing ppl who like using him as a swirlhoe. OBV, you'd have to increase the numbers.

    Here's my take on a Venti rework
    Skill tap:
    Deal anemo damage then create an anemo field like Jean's lasting 4 seconds but it's for damage instead of heals. The field cannot be infused. It also creates a wind current but it doesn't lift him on cast.
    Skill hold:
    Kazuha suction with no lift/stagger but can also pull larger enemies via drag. He then creates an anemo field like his tap skill, wind current included.
    Burst:
    Create a vortex on the ground that can be infused lasting for 15 seconds without the suction. Every time a party member casts their elemental skill, gain 1 stack of swirling cyclone. Every 3 stacks of swirling cyclone, create a suction that pull enemies to the vortex. This can be done 3 times throughout the duration.
    A1:
    When Venti casts his burst, restore energy for anemo characters + characters with the same element as the infusion.
    A2:
    Every 3rd suction Venti creates from his skill and burst, create a burst of wind current on the field dealing anemo damage and briefly lifting/staggering smaller enemies after a short delay.
    C1:
    Every 15 seconds, Venti's charged attack creates an anemo field dealing anemo damage. Creating a suction reduces the cooldown by 3 seconds. Every 3rd anemo field created by Venti will also briefly stagger smaller enemies.
    C2:
    When an anemo field expires (4 seconds), party members inside it will gain an atk% boost. Cannot be stacked.
    C3:
    Skill upgrade.
    C4:
    Causing a swirl reaction also creates a suction. Cooldown of 9 seconds.
    C5:
    Burst upgrade
    C6:
    Whenever an anemo field is created, increase the entire party's em.
    Tldr
    This one takes the strength of anemo via grouping, CC and swirl and distributes the strength of burst throughout his kit & constellations. Albeit he's not as oppressive in one press of a button, he's granted more uptime & consistency on his swirls, infusion and CC.

    I think changing the vv set would to be like deepwood in that it can still do it's thing off-field would be a great qol buff. It could fix the problem with long field time units like cyno in dealing a consistently strong dps throughout a fight, whether it be a boss or a new wave. About the strenght though, a lot of speedrunning would actually be weaker, since most of them tend to utilize the buff timer to their peak potential, while it would be stronger again for units who have elemental infusions that disappear when switching out.
    Some units like arlecchino (the most recent example for this) don't have this problem tho

    Xinyan actually has been a lot better as a pyro unit recently than a physical unit (bennet c6 make her NA pyro, furina hyper buffing her and Xianyun allowing her to plunge spam with the other 2 supports), a rework that maybe leads her to be a better quick-swap pyro unit that is capable of being a defensive option would prob be the best way they could change her.
    A more interesting idea though could be making her similar to freminet where they have 2 modes depending on how you build/play him all dependent on their skill

    here's my thing i want to add to the venti rework
    every 3 charge shots summons a spear that deals 100% more damage than his arrows and the spear damage scales with his ATK, HP, EM, Anemo damage bonus
    here's what each stat changes the spear damage by percentage
    ATK: 0.01% more spear damage per ATK point
    HP: 0.05% more spear damage per HP point
    EM: 0.25% more spear damage per EM point
    Anemo damage bonus: the amount the anemo damage bonus says

    I think he is still very good in this abyss second half , he can group the lectors too. First chamber he can easily cc the lot of them and you can burst them down with neuvi for instance.

    i thought a little, and this is mostly inspired by other comments and not very serious at all (if it were serious i would try to keep it pretty similar to his current kit), but i would focus on cc and debuffing. i think i would make his skill be basically his burst, just a immobile whirlwind that sucks things in, the pull being a little weaker and having slower damage than his burst. in archon fashion it would have infinite uptime, with tap he would summon it where he stands and hold he would be able to aim it, like fischl, maybe also be able to relocate it once or twice? and then the black hole can also absorb a element and debuff the enemies resistance of the absorbed element. the burst is a giant cyclone that forces every enemy, even some bosses, to where it is cast and applies a mark that lowers the enemy defense. passive one i would make it so that he can now also swirl geo and dendro, passive two is that his defense and resistance debuffing is strengthened by every 1% of his energy recharge above 100% by like, 0,4% for defense and 0,6% for resistance. it also gives 0,4% anemo dmg and swirl bonus dmg to himself. ofc his multipliers would be quite generous, and i have a feeling that maybe golden troupe would be nice for him
    now constellations are a little hard, c6 would surely be to make him a dps of some kind, maybe his burst is like his normal burst but with a even bigger range that shreds everything with pure raw damage? for like 7 seconds. c3 and c5 are always the same, and c2 maybe i would make it so that he can work as a battery? like maybe regenerating flat energy from the element he swirled into his skill and anemo, or maybe that he can crit swirls? or some buff like crit? i do think i prefer the battery one but im not really sure(thinking about it, maybe swirls can crit, based on his current crit stats, and with an icd every crit restores flat energy to team mates that are anemo and the element he swirled). c4 i think would be more for his personal damage and/or comfort, like making his skill stronger in both damage and pull, or even some small healing. c1 would be an anemo resistance/defense shred, going by the same rules of the other elements debuffs, just being a help in mono anemo teams
    and just to make him reaching the cap of his debuffing a little harder, he ascends with anemo dmg instead of er

    I obviously love the idea or reworking characters especially archons so to add on to raiden not to having a exploration esque passive. I thought since shes a warrior it would be sick if when her skill is active you automatically collect enemy drops when you defeat them in open world. To make her an even more efficient warrior godess. But tbh i wish theyd maybe update her burst and make it more cinematic and 3D. Alongside giving her a cool weather manipulation idle animation like Neuvillete but she makes a whole ass hurricane (exaggeration).

    Loved this even though Venti is one of my least favorite characters!
    For the next in this series, would you consider doing Qiqi or Dehya? Maybe Tighnari or Cyno?
    I’ve been trying to do something similar to this in my own time, changing things up a bit to where Archons have access to ALL the basic aspects of their element, while 5-stars can either embody 1 aspect to the max or they do something really interesting or counterintuitive with the element.
    I also agree that some characters should’ve been a different element or weapon type:
    1. Beidou should have been our missing Hydro Claymore, redirecting the flow of an attack much??? She’s a sea captain who got her Vision by killing a sea serpent, for Archons’ sake! Plus, we have THREE 4-star Electro Claymore users and ZERO Hydro Claymore users!
    2. And Sayu is absolutely Dendro; imagine her Elemental Skill Body Swapping with the Daruma to either dodge back or up into the air where she can do a Plunge! Make her Burst the rolypoly where her Daruma implants everyone she hits with longer-lasting Dendro application, enabling reactions from the other teammates.
    Anyway, please keep doing these! I’m subbing so I can watch for the next one!

    A small suggestion type thing but maybe for some character rework videos changes to their weapon could be made if they have incredibly niche weapon. (Baizhu was the inspiration for this...)

      I’ll definitely consider that. For Baizhu in particular, I don’t mind that his weapon is niche. But with lower damage multipliers, the DMG% is worthless. A Base DMG Bonus would’ve been much more valuable imo

    Since you mentioned Xinyan I'll throw my Xinyan rework idea out:
    Alright so basically what if she loved shields. Her kit's the same except the ascension passives. Her A1 would additionaly make her skills shield refresh whenever her Lvl 3 shield did damage.
    Instead of A4 increasing characters physical damage if they have her shield on them, it makes Xinyan gain a DMG bonus whenever anyone gains a shield and her teammates gain a DEF bonus instead up to a max of like 10 shields or smth.
    Y'know who can make lots of shields and likes DEF? Geo characters. That's right this entire idea is based around the the fact that Xinyan is a ROCK musician. Anyways this should would make her kit retain it's weirdness as well as make her capable of being a Geo support, and with enough shielding make her own damage better.

    All of the ideas are absolutely great, as a former venti main i loved it all, but i think that instead of using just sucrose's burst for his skill itd be cooler if he spawned an anemo spirit that creates smaller currents. also, the ult should get sstronger cc for heavy enemys, instead of just moving them slowly. the uult should just pull bigger and smallr enemies equally, but i do understand why you would not implemennt this, since itd make him too busted

    Venti being literally the first 5* is unfortunately shackled to be like this. He's still a main staple on my abyss runs, but CC on his burst doesnt make sense lorewise and, even technical-wise really. You got a character who yeets the eff out of the tallest mountain in whole of Teyvat yet his burst can't CC a ruin guard. A rework on that (and some small-type enemies) is enough to make him more relevant. And yep, adding an off-field mechanic on him wouldnt hurt.

    Thematically I feel like Venti's current design makes no sense. He is all about freedom, but his kit is basically entirely based around crowd control. Being themed around freedom, I feel like his design should be based around giving his team more options, and in my mind that would mean buffs, I don't know exactly what kind of buffs that should be. If we think of it as how he should have been on release, then he could probably give DMG% buffs to elements he swirls like Kazuha, but if we think of it as a rework that could release now it would have to be something else. Something that I feel like could make sense for him to buff are the bonuses from anemo resonance, so stamina consumption, move speed, and cooldown reduction, but unless they are very strong buffs, I don't think that buffing would help his problems with dealing with single target enemies. So he could buff basically all the stats that we don't see in the stats page, things like movement speed, attack speed, stamina consumption, cooldown reduction, jump height, and maybe even something like reducing the charge time for bow chargeshots (Last one is kinda coping as a Ganyu main). Most of these are barely used in character's kits in the game, especially giving these types of buffs to teammates. Having Venti give his team many of these buffs could be way too much depending on how strong the buffs are, but it would make him more unique. Obviously the rest of his kit would have to be changed to not be a CC monster if he also had these buffs, but I have already rambled for too long.

      yeah i would think a new and improved Venti would be specialized in giving your team more breathing room. using his burst would give you things like extra i-frames when dashing, movement speed, reduced stamina consumption, attack speed, animation speed (like skill and burst), jump height, and the small cooldown when switching between characters is removed for the duration of the burst. he'd be all about removing the limitations the game gives you and giving you.. well, freedom.
