Dude, I’m so sorry for you man. I got a copy of Vector near Christmas and it’s perfect, my figure of the year. Ik that sounds crazy, but I do hope you pick up a better copy and see what u think.
Yeah I think it was pretty much just the first run of Vectors who had QC this bad, but at the same time I really don't feel like wasting the money twice on this.
@@PerspectiveEnd I get that. I’d say that maybe, if given the chance to mess with a good copy, just try. The paint job is bedazzling, and the sword and key gimmick is fun
i agree 90% with the list (i do actually enjoy sandstorm) but my main question is HOW DO YOU THINK OF THE POSES THESE ARE IN, I HAVE DROPPED FIGURES DOWN A FLIGHT OF STAIRS THAT SOMEHOW DIDN'T END UP THAT MANGLED
Here’s my opinion on some of these Shadowstriker- could’ve been good if she wasn’t a pretool and was her own mold Energon Megs- the galvaton colors is why I got it Chase- why the hot rod shoulders Hot Shot- the clear plastic bits are giving me the fear of them breaking
It feels so nutty that siege was almost 6 years ago, like shit I know I’m not old but feel like I am. Siege Spinister really helped me come back to the fandom
I'm so glad I thought that up last year. It means even when I can't think of a joke, or the joke I make doesn't land the visuals are doing the heavy lifting for me.
Swoop was very underwhelming. Sadly, I still haven't been able to get my hands on an 86 grimlock. I missed out on the first run, I missed out on the comic colored one, and I will NOT be paying $400 on eBay to get him.
@pravesh736 Thank you for the I formation on the next chance to get Grimlock, but I have the G2 concept color figure. I meant that I haven't been able to get my hands on a correct color Grimlock.
@@ScatteredBrainz I’m pretty sure we’re supposed to be getting a reissue of the proper 86 Grimlock, though it might be later in 2025. All I know is that the DOTM Shockwave reissue was proven true, so I think it’s a safe bet about Grimlock.
Thoughts on the figures I care about or got from this list: Legacy Core BM Cheetor: dear god, why was this better than it should have been. I understand the Bay films, seeing as I'm a fan of them and they made millions, but Beast Machines is even more of a sin because it ruined a good series on Beast Wars instead of being objectively bad from the beginning like the Bay films. 86 Swoop: Hasbro was stupid thinking this was perfect, but then again it's always a curse with separate teams made by these designers to make them great/fantastic at the start and become terrible by the end. United Silverbolt: I like this guy for being simple, but these designers literally had the original figure and chose to not even bother basing him off of it. United Vector Prime: I think this guy is okay, but whatever genius ruined the QC initially deserves to be demoted.
Legit, that Cheetor manages to be at least Decently quaint. I don't know how they messed up every last detail on Swoop. Seriously the sculpt didn't have to be as bad as it is. Same for Silverbolt, why is the Dogs Detail so melty. Truly no figure should have ever gone out the door like this, let alone an entire run.
5:46 I understand if you hate the figure, but is tarn the worst hot Rod shoulder dude or chase? Feels Its like every day a new bot gets the worst hot Rod shoulders
Cheetor and Energon Megs scream "We know these are the bastard children of our 40 year run, so here have em at a cheap core class scale" Maybe dont do them at all? There's like....two, maybe three beast machine fans out there? No one's clamoring for a new nightscream anytime soon
I am sad that sandstorm is on this list, in my experience he is one of my favourite figures of the year but I do understand and respect why you don’t feel the same as me
I'm glad to hear that. Both that you enjoy it more than I do, and that you dont feel slighted like some people tend to because I don't care for it like you do.
Between BM Cheetor and SS86 Steeljaw, I can see why Hasbro is dropping core class size, the Legacy United core class figures were my least favorite Transformers of 2024.
I hate UT Peru Kill, and let me be clear, I owned the UT and KO copy. The UT version, straight out of the box, the window belts snapped, because they were held on by plastic ball joints. Now my KO was fine, so it was probably just a bad copy, but man did it make me loathe this figure. Also, the leg parts of the UT do not tab, while the KO works fine. Also when you try to work his knees, something else opens. In addition, both copies, their ankles are terrible. They cannot hold the weight of the figure. I owned UT Peru Kill, Challenger, and Dragoon, and I hated 2 of the 3. Sorry, I disagree with Jobby, challenger is a disaster.
You truly do have beef with 3P don't ya? When you said UT you kind of broke my brain because I was like "Unicron Trillogy?" What made you buy a KO if you hated the... Semi Official one? I mean I hate that Design for Optimus in General.
My first Vector figure was so loose i returned it to the store soon after i got it. I got another one for Christmas and the tolerances feel 1000 times better. But i 100% agree with you though, that first batch really ruined what shouldve been a good repaint.
Huh, I only got one figure out of this whole list, that being Swoop. And yeah, I still like him just fine. Looking back, the Pteranodon mode does look too chunky and it could've used a longer wingspan, but I'm actually ok with his transformation being simple. I mean, it's Swoop. I'd honestly be upset if they overcomplicated it. I briefly considered Silverbolt, but ever since I got the Takara OG one, my opinion on the Legacy one has waned quite a lot. His transformation literally just him standing up is part of what drew me to the character. Not to mention it's incredibly addictive, as I've lost count of how many times I've converted him days after getting him. Needless to say, it's aged really well for an old toy and I'd honestly recommend it to anyone who can't afford the Transart fig.
My point about it being too simple, is that it doesn't do all the stuff the Transformation should to end up with the correct altmode. Like the Legs need to transform more, so the Pterodactly has leg articulation, and so the backpack is up by his shoulders and not on his ass. Did you get the OG Silverbolt because of my Recommendation, cause if so I'm happy to have done that.
@PerspectiveEnd Actually, yeah. I usually don't mind Legacy taking liberties when it comes to transformations. But Silverbolt's og transformation is so fun, I genuinely felt bad about how compromised the Legacy's is. Also, the Legacy's tail feathers are too short. That too was a huge factor.
4:11 yes it is. I mean what's harder: Arranging a bunch of boxes on hinges into a bigger box or arranging a bunch of boxes into a thin triangle with masses of rounded shapes.
I’m personally offended that Chase got on this list over animated bee. You will rue the day! Anyways it was nice to see your opinions on these overall. Shame vector prime was just so half assed, and Quake was extremely disappointing, hell I’d have been just a little ok with it if he could atleast roll. Ah well. And tbh sandstorm still would look pretty nice for the target MSRP if 35 bucks, I’m annoyed my store never stocked him
I think this might be the most controversial list you have ever made, I personally don't agree with this list, but I understand where you are coming from with it.
I actually got legacy vector prime, and thank goodness I got lucky with the QC, the only QC flaw is that one of the wing panels likes to pop off but other than that everything's in order
I can't think of a 10 ten figures for me, but I can do a few that I hated this year. Collaborative Party Wallop: I am neutral and got him for the collection, and while the vehicle mode is cool, the robot mode is a complete mess. Pathfinder: The Gobots three pack is pretty neat, and I love Treads and am neutral to Smallfoot, but the Cosmos mold is not as good as people say it is. Studio Series BB Voyager Shockwave: Jesus fuck this thing is awful. Barely any poseabilty that drags it down. Legacy Sideburn: I hate it. Everything about him is bad. Legacy Lockdown: They took the best head design from the best version of him and completely fucking ruined him by making him a "Weaponiser".
I had a feeling I was gonna see Vector Prime Pop up on this list the moment I first watched that short, and it is so satisfying to not only see it make the cut, but dominate in its suck and claim the #1 spot is quite neat. Always super hyped for these end of year lists and this was a good time :D
I got vector prime, at least he doesn't fall apart, but he's kinda just mid. Not as bad as Armada Hot Shot to transform (god help you if you try), but Vector Prime is fine standing. Still, missed opportunity to make fun of the bayverse with Vector prime's removable face. What were they going to give him an open mouth face? Because that's kinda a Muppet mouth, but would have been cool
I hear the more recent runs are also better, but probably it's safest to get him in the new box so you know it's one of the fixed coppies. And what do you mean Missing Link Silverbolt?
I don’t think Beast wars is getting Missing Links. The missing link stuff is mostly to add possibility to the bricks of the g1 figures, and BW figures were pretty posable
Its impressive how the only actually bad figure on the list is cybertron hotrod. Like I own every figure on this list and they’re all perfectly fine, even Vector Prime who I got as part of the first run and avoided every qc issue
Well I'm glad you enjoy most of these more than me though I would argue that like all of them are a 4 out of 10. So nothing is Horrible, just not good.
Legacy G1 Prime is not a bad figure at all. It was marketed as a G1 Prime on a budget and it succeeds in doing just that. The rubber tires, added articulation, light piping and added weapons plus a flawless transformation that captures both modes. Why the hate, its not trying to be Missing Link.
G1 Prime on a Budget didn't have to be made with crap materials. Like I'm 100% ok with it being a Bad Deluxe, that's fine, with what it's trying to be, it not having an amazing transformation, or tons of articulation is fine, but the fact that it has all that bad stuff, and also terrible material quality to the point where it feels like it's always going to break is unacceptable. The figure cost them a ham sandwich, and a crisp high five to make, so why couldn't they spend anything on plastic.
In the (idk like 10 months) I've been full-on collecting Transformers, I've never held a figure that felt more like it was about to snap than Legacy Vector Prime.
Solid list. Like, actually You threw Swoop on here. I was severely unimpressed with that figure when I first got it. Worst figure of 2025 is Hatchet btw.
Of course, and Fortunately I have also been largely absent during your absence. Not had the time recently to respond to many comments. So we Return Together.
Thank you. I've been called the Angry Video Game Nerd of the Transformers before. Which is funny cause I wouldn't really consider him one of my inspirations for Transformers Reviews, however I did watch him a ton and a bunch of angry reviewers back in the day.
Comment 2: I just remembered the one figure that I would say is the worst of this year: Studio Series ROTB Pablo. Accuracy: it's already screwed by being the one ROTB Autobot from Bumblebee who doesn't look like similar to their previous design, but the Door wings are the wrong way round (remember this for transformation), and the leg wheels aren't on the thighs loke with the OTHER 2 FIGURES OF HIM! Articulation: The lower half is fine, but the upper half suffers from clashing kibble, not to mention him having Hot Rod Shoulders for no reason (remember this for transformation). Accessories: whilst the washing machines from ROTB suck, I don't get why they weren't included. Even worse is that the gun included instead is made of clear plastic for no reason (remember this for transformation). Alt Mode: the best part of the figure. It looks like it does in the film, but it's not worth it because of the Transformation. Transformation: The most hellish Hasbro Transformation of all time. Kingdom Rhinox is more enjoyable than this. His arms being hot rod shoulders makes the inaccurate door wings borderline impossible to get into alt mode position without breaking them, which is even quicker because they're made of the same plastic as the gun. Overall, stay the hell away from this guy.
I didn't buy Pablo, but I can totally see why. I mean technically he's accurate to the thing he's trying to be accurate too. But I am still offended by it as well. I don't know how you release a second version of that character with worse articulation than the initial one. I thought that version of him came with the Washing Machine. Sometimes the best part of a figure being the Altmode is a very good thing. Not this time. That's a bold statement. I've heard bad things about that Transformation, but not that it's worse than Kingdom Rhinox.
4:14 slight addendum to a comment I left on your last Shadow Stiker vid, I said BOTH of her knee tabs broke off, I found mine again and only ONE fell off, the other was only stressing hard so I stopped messing with it. Still surprised you never brought them up for her
Hot take, I know, but I feel like the 2024 titans, by virtue of being a titan, deserve honourable mentions on the list. They aren't figures so much as they are display pieces, so unwieldy that attempting to move them may well cause the rest of their joints to move a click thanks to the force needed and mess up that pose you wanted. Doesn't help that for the price the transformations on most titans end up as complex as a deluxe, rarely taking advantage of the sheer size to create much greater transformations. In a list of best/worst figures, titans deserve to be somewhere in the lowest rankings for failing as figures, but compared as set pieces they are all without equal.
Why is it that by Virtue of BEING a Titan they deserve to be here? I can't say that that's an issue I've had with Titans. Some of them can end up a bit more complicated than that, but yeah some of them are just incredibly simple. I think Omega Supreme and the Nemesis REALLY hold up, gave the Nemesis my best of year last year.
@@PerspectiveEnd The problem with titans is that their strengths ARE their fundamental flaws when trying to evaluate them as figures. Their sheer size makes them uniquely unfit for using as figures, because the sheer amount of effort needed to move their joints into any position makes moving them a chore, the weight making them painful to move around. They don't exactly work well with almost any figure either, only scaled well enough for the core class in SOME cases (Cybertron metroplex/Scorponok/Black Zarak come to mind) But the ship oriented bots like Nemesis, Ark and Omega supreme are so out of scale even when next to the core class that they really only work on their own. Nemesis and Ark work as a pair, but put them in altmode next to Cybertron metroplex or tidal wave and you'll see the problem in their scaling immediately. Their sheer size is also a double edged sword; They simply require an insane amount of space. If you're having them on a table, sure, they're fine. You can display them however you please that way. But on a shelf? The vast majority of titans will never be able to be displayed in altmode because their size is their undoing; many titan altmodes don't fit on many shelves because of how their mass is shifted around, and even if they can fit they won't be having the best display options in their altmodes most of the time due to space limitations forcing them to sit on unflattering angles on the shelf. Want to play with a titan at night? You better hope nobody else lives with you or is sleeping because those ratchets are so gloriously LOUD and crunchy. As lovely as they are, every titan (At least Ark/Cybertron Metro/ Scorponok mold) has strong ratchets to hold up the weight yet because of those ratchets they make so much noise that they will be heard even when the family is downstairs in a completely different room. And the prices charged for titans simply make them unviable as figures to begin with. Why pay 200 for a titan that barely functions as a figure when you could get two good commanders (not you, silverbolt and superion) for that money or a whole bunch of good deluxes, voyagers and leaders, all of whom lack the inherent faults of a titan that are inevitable with those big figures and can all fit nicely on the shelf together? Sure, heavy discounts will let you snag a few titans for 100 sometimes but those aren't guaranteed and having been unfortunate enough to miss nemesis and tidal wave because of the high prices I'm likely never getting them because of how expensive they are. They just aren't worth the money from a figure perspective; as a display piece though there is a case to be made for them. The Titans are just fundamentally awful as figures but they save themselves by not even trying to BE figures in the first place, instead correctly focusing on being stellar articulated display pieces with (usually) great altmodes that can often be used as setpieces for the mainline figures if one is to pretend scale isn't a problem. For that reason, I feel like Titans do inherently deserve a worst FIGURE placement because fundamentally they do not work as figures you can play with easily.
@@confusedshovel1232 The titan class passes the "point of no return" in size so to speak, failing as figures (emphasis on FIGURES) because their size, while a potent draw as a display piece, gets to a point where it becomes just as much of a problem as a boon. And yes, the 4ft tall metroplex is beyond insanity. I wouldn't be surprised if it falls apart in robot mode just because it's that heavy.
The real reason Armada Megatron is on this list is because it’s the Armada version. 😈 Edit: Oh wow. Got the series mixed up. I meant to say _Energon_ Megatron. Whoops. lol
I enjoyed Chase, i look forward to the rest of the Rescue Bots. Edit: just finished the video, Quake is another figure that I don't hate. Sure the vehicle mode isn't really that good, but he was a solid figure nonetheless
That's like saying 1/3rd of the figure is good so it's good. Like if the altmode sucks, and the Transformation falls apart, then 2/3rds of the Transformer aren't worth having.
Do you take requests for reviews? It’s okay if you don’t, I’m just curious. I was on the fence about getting the Magic Square 2.0 Optimus Prime, then watched your video on it. I still want to get it, but seeing the price I don’t know if I still want it. That being said, I think I’ve seen you have the legends scale MS Optimus. Do you think you could review that or summarize its posesbility, look in both modes, and transformation for me?
Sideburn is one of those uncanny designs that would have been redesigned amazingly in old generations. One arm converts from the entire top half folded up, the other from the bumper and exhaust pipe. Asymmetry has a bad taste because of him alone
I don't mind wind blades . Robot mode, that's how I display her.Because I just wanted her in my collection. But the only one that looks like it transforms into a proper . Aeroplane looking plane with no robot mode. Hanging off the bottom is tales from the upcoming sonic, the hedgehog crossover.
I didn't like most of the figures too. I bought the Sideburn thinking, "it can't be that bad, right?" I immediately sold mine after a week. Also, for some reason, I got a stupid smile on my face everytime i saw each figure standing up mistransformed.
Which leader do you think fits better for Carnivac? They're both raiders who collect wealth to fund a greater purpose. - Thundertron (sellout, brutal, shortsighted, wants to unite Predacons only to exterminate all Cybertronians) - Wolfwire (Tactical, well-meaning, measured, aims to give equal prosperity, unity, and powerful sovereignty to the Predacons, and fix relations with Autobots afterwards) Why did they even consider to remake an original carbot from RID 2001? They're all horrible shellformers. That could've been a space for a minibot or Polarclaw. What do you mean jetformers don't have good transformations? There's TR Blitzwing, TR Misfire, and Triggerhappy. Reactivate and Legacy Armada Starscream are also pretty good. They still make good jetformer transformations. The Aerialbots and Needlenose are a lost cause. But I'd rather make Windblade a Deluxe size Voyager that can fit the nosecone in her torso and have some parts expand to make an accurate jet mode than do it lazy like usual. Make Shadowstriker an original mold (pre-chimera form), then use the empty space for Swerve, Tailgate, or Polarclaw. Why did they make Quake a retool at all? Copying the original's transformation layout is as hard as making it like this. This just makes no sense. I like the tank mode but the robot mode is boring. The colors are far too bright and the torso isn't even close.
I mean....SS86 Swoop is the only Dinobot with a simple, easy transformation. Sometimes, you just want to pick up a figure, transform it, and put it down in less than 2 minutes. It's great for stopmotions. My only complaint is the head/face seems off. But just because it's a leader doesn't necessarily mean I want to turn it inside out and line up 25 panels. If it has enough mass, tight joints, and looks like the character, I'll pay leader price for it.
Actually the problem is not with the transformation, the beast mode is mostly accurate. It's the beast mode articulation. Swoop should've had articulated feet and more joints on his wings.
I will say, I got the Energon Galvatron repaint and everything feels nice and tight. Just a nice little fun figure to plunk back and forth, only thing I dislike is the shoulder cannons parts form but I can understand that
@PerspectiveEnd The show has a lot of often contradictory elements on the side of the good guys. It’s inverted from let’s say how Megatron and his minions were mostly incompetent in Armada. With now the Autobots being plagued with the blunder curse at least from what I’ve watched so far. Maybe it changes more drastically but so far it feels like it’s trying to get a bit of a younger audience. Then there’s the weirdness with the planet keys. As an example in the episodes where Hotrod is sent to recover the cyber planet key from the Speed planet, we see an example of one of the locals blatantly using on and then somehow managing to convince the dense lad that the old bot that was being attacked by two of Megatrons recently acquired goons, using it with Hotrod intervening to prevent the old bot from getting killed, has no idea what a cyber planet key is. Its so dumb because Hotrod has supposedly seen other cyber planet keys being used and what abilities their application unlocks in said bots, but conveniently manages to forget said characteristics even though he saw it (let’s be generous and say from a distance) and fully accepts the obvious lie. Mainly because he’s kicking himself for breaking his cover to the either conveniently similar robotic organisms with the capacity to transform into other vehicles or just a colony of other cybertronians, (because in this series I believe the big threat is Cybertron is in danger of consumption because of a black hole.) Yet the order for the speed planet from Optimus is to avoid contact with the locals… even though they’re not doing that with the kids that managed to get involved in the efforts of the Autobots. It’s like its trying to make another utterly distinct series where the cybertronians worked with the humans in both Armada and Energon, while using designs that seem to make reference more to the Energon series? I believe Transformers Cybertron is completely compiled from what I can tell, on RUclips and is even upscaled to 1080p. However, it’s not under the official transformers channel. Which is odd but considering the mo of the company they usually prefer to push the newer iterations of the various series, keeping a rather confusing compiled playlists of certain shows, and preferring not to list the… less than profitable and occasionally obvious blunders to be forgotten. If you’d like I could send the link to the show.
@@PerspectiveEnd apologies for the massive text dump. There’s a lot of weirdness with the show. Hell if memory serves early on to try and surpress the black hole (I don’t know if it was more widespread on how blackholes actually work, the second season of Transformers Energon seemed to mix up the properties of a blackhole with a wormhole. However for the Cybertron series the blackhole has the properties of both a wormhole and a blackhole.) Trust me this is going to sound ridiculous how they tried to restrain the seemingly unstoppable expansion of the blackhole. So the Autobots still on Cybertron try to hauls the growth of the blackhole, the thing that’s so gravitationally dense that it’s basically a tear into space time that light cannot escape from it, by applying a greater amount of gravitational force upon the blackhole.
It was a failed attempt at making a sequel series for beast wars. It isn't liked by a good chunk of fans for completely changing the artstyle and for completely undermining the Maximals victory in beast wars. The characters behave differently, megatrons motivation suddenly change for no reason and the Maximals suddenly are now not fighting for peace and freedom but are now fighting in the name of some oracle they found to turn cybertron to a green techno world.
They are a person called Human Girl. And I mean what I say about her Literally. even before I was a RUclipsr I'd run inter her when I left a comment on a years old video by someone else criticizing Beast Machines. She's one of the only people I've ever had to block.
@@Gigi4u Oh no, I think I misspoke. I know of Beast Machines very well (Noble haunts me in my sleep), but what I want to know is who the fan Perspective keeps referring to whenever he dunks on Beast Machines, the one who charges in at the ready to defend the show?
@starstruck8862 somehow missed that. But yea there was some who used to replay to anyone who critiqued beast machine. Don't now the username but perspective end mentioned this a while back in possibly the beast machines roast video.
I dont always agree with you (it would be boring if i did) but what I think I appreciate most about your channel is that you don't hesitate to rake a figure over the coals when HasTak puts out something that should have been a better product. Too many collectors are years deep with thousands sunk to the point that they excuse inexcusable mistakes and keep buying things they should stop buying in my opinion - like some sort of weird Transformers Stockholm syndrome
From this list I got: 1. 86 Swoop 2. Windblade 3. Sandstorm 4. G1 Optimus 5. Vector Prime 6. Energon Megatron 7. Quake 8. Cybertron Hot Shot Wow, from the 13 figures in this video, I got 8 of them…….
@@PerspectiveEnd I really like most of them except quake. And I’m quite shocked that you think Cybertron Hot Shot is worse than Swoop as you sound more ok for Hot Shot video while being furious and disappointed at Swoop….
Quake tank mode is a Bob Semple tank cosplaying as a modern main battle tank, and compaing Quake's to it is an insult to the Semple tank. Also ngl I wanted to get Chase but Heatwave being a Bulkhead retool retroactively made me not want to get him. 5:44 also that’s gonna be my new sleep paralysis demon
Hot Shot and Sandstorm somehow found their ways off of my best of the year list onto your worst, my bad g. Not judging or arguing but I do think it’s really funny how we have polar opposite takes on Hot Shot for proportional reasons, only issue for me is that they didn’t fix the windshield by making it an insert or changing how it works.
Shadowstriker fits the Legacy brief perfectly- an amalgamation of her Cyberverse and Botcon iterations. It's just that both completely suck compared to the Car Robots Speedbreaker mold that they were originally released as. Oh and you had Swoop's wings mistransformed in robot mode.
Surprised animated prime wasn’t on this list since most of his copies were loose in the legs. Thank goodness I decided to get Motormaster instead. Quick question, are you gonna get SS102 when he comes out? The reissue I mean.

PE purposefully mistransforming figures he doesn't like has gotta be one of the funniest Transformers-related running gags I'm aware of
I'm so glad I thought that up last year.
Thank the lord there will be a potential reissue of him at some point
May 1 , grimlock but blue g2 color.
@@jaydonmagan4694 If we do end up getting an 86 Grimlock reissue, I will be extremely happy, and I will be buying it immediately.
Aw man, give Silverbolt some slack he's trying his best.
I’m just sad we don’t have his brother (because of activation) Quick Strike like why not have both the Wolf Bird and the Scorpion Cobra.
Perspective yet again having the absolute worst takes imaginable
What would you have put on this list?
@@PerspectiveEndyour mother
This is a pretty good list
true
Thoughts on the figures I care about or got from this list:
Legacy Core BM Cheetor: dear god, why was this better than it should have been.
Nothing like hating on bad figures.
5:46 I understand if you hate the figure, but is tarn the worst hot Rod shoulder dude or chase? Feels Its like every day a new bot gets the worst hot Rod shoulders
It's Chase.
Tarn's is only bad because it's not necessary and it looks too high up. It's fine in a vacuum.
1:56 wait, casseticon sounds epic as hell
Is that the first time you've heard that term?
Yes
Sadly, it’s a butchering of one of the cooler villain designs in RID, but it doubles as a pirate flag.
I'm personally more of a fan of "Recordicon"
Cheetor and Energon Megs scream "We know these are the bastard children of our 40 year run, so here have em at a cheap core class scale"
Maybe dont do them at all? There's like....two, maybe three beast machine fans out there? No one's clamoring for a new nightscream anytime soon
I would have taken tankor over cheetor any day
I wish we got Quick Strike in Legacy cause why release Silverbolt but not him. They were activated on the same day and both have cool designs.
Thank God you mentioned Cybertron hot shot, I'm so sick of hearing how good he is. Why didn't they fix his ducking back pack
Pure laziness
The clear plastic tailskirt is so dumb.
When you said UT you kind of broke my brain because I was like "Unicron Trillogy?"
What made you buy a KO if you hated the... Semi Official one?
I mean I hate that Design for Optimus in General.
Sad to see swoop on the worst list just cause it’s my favorite dinobot, but I do understand why it’s on the list and don’t blame ya for adding this
Don’t diss my boy Chase like that, on the contrary though i want AOTP Heatwave and the number one spot next year
My first Vector figure was so loose i returned it to the store soon after i got it. I got another one for Christmas and the tolerances feel 1000 times better. But i 100% agree with you though, that first batch really ruined what shouldve been a good repaint.
I love the poses and half-transformations you put these figures in
Thank you. I'm very proud of that joke.
Legacy United Vector Prime is a sin against Primus. Not even Unicron could stomach this QC abomination.
It would give unicron some kind of internal rot to eat him.
To be honest it would be really funny if Hasbro goes as hard with future Beast Machines figures as the Transmetal 2 figures.
I saw other youtubers praising swoop and i was like that things does look like it should get that much praise
They should use all these pictures for their stock photos of these figures
I find it funny that nearly half the figures on this are some of my favourite figures of the year
And that's perfectly fine. Glad you enjoy them more than I do.
I get the swoop hate honestly, but I enjoy it for some reason. It feels good to handle imo, despite looking like he got a feature in the croods 😭
I actually got legacy vector prime, and thank goodness I got lucky with the QC,
the only QC flaw is that one of the wing panels likes to pop off but other than that everything's in order
I think that it was really only the first Run that got messed up on the QC like this, but I'm glad to hear that you are enjoying it more than me.
C'mon man.
You said you hate the figure, and then that you are neutral on it.
The Cosmos Mold is so overrated.
8:29 im just waiting on missing link bw silverbolt
10:54 sooo wait for the age of the primes rerealise
I hear the more recent runs are also better, but probably it's safest to get him in the new box so you know it's one of the fixed coppies.
And what do you mean Missing Link Silverbolt?
I don’t think Beast wars is getting Missing Links. The missing link stuff is mostly to add possibility to the bricks of the g1 figures, and BW figures were pretty posable
@@sewing3049I think they meant Transart
Its impressive how the only actually bad figure on the list is cybertron hotrod. Like I own every figure on this list and they’re all perfectly fine, even Vector Prime who I got as part of the first run and avoided every qc issue
Well I'm glad you enjoy most of these more than me though I would argue that like all of them are a 4 out of 10. So nothing is Horrible, just not good.
You’re mad at hotshot locking like hotshot huh
The issues you have with vector prime I had with jiaxus but not vector prime so probably a qc issue with the copy you got
I know from talking to other people who got the first run that a lot of people had issues like mine.
Maybe I got a second run copy of it then cause I didn’t find it till later on
All those figures are peak imo
1:42 This looks like His brother trying to be him
I'm not sure what you mean by that.
re. Windblade....*inhale* YOU LOST PARTS GROM HER, ITS NOT A FAIR ASSESSMENT!
Her Head Crest isn't going to change how i feel about the figure.
Even though I don't hate ss86 swoop, he just feels so... disappointing
Hi #PerspectiveEnd. How are you? Which video of yours shows the fan mode of skullgrin?
I'm good thanks, how are you.

I really like the windblad it has great possing
In the (idk like 10 months) I've been full-on collecting Transformers, I've never held a figure that felt more like it was about to snap than Legacy Vector Prime.
This is the Grinch of the Transformers end-of-the-year lists.
So a transformers list whos heart grew three sizes?
the poses this year are imo the silliest ones yet, especially chase and vector prime
I don't know that Vectors are so silly, but I was very proud of Chases, Cheetors, and Quakes.
Solid list. Like, actually You threw Swoop on here. I was severely unimpressed with that figure when I first got it.
Worst figure of 2025 is Hatchet btw.

Been getting into TF this year and I must say I absolutely adore your AVGN-like presentation for these figures lmao
Thank you. I've been called the Angry Video Game Nerd of the Transformers before. Which is funny cause I wouldn't really consider him one of my inspirations for Transformers Reviews, however I did watch him a ton and a bunch of angry reviewers back in the day.
The cursed mistransformations are always comedy gold on these. Well done.
Thank you so much. I'm so proud of that joke.
Bro just tries to be controversial on purpose to keep a buzz, But I do agree with some of the figures on this list.
It’s just his opinions, innocent, and valid
We will take no shadow striker slander here
Did I mention Edgy The Hedgy in this video, I already don't remember.
Still surprised you never brought them up for her
Mines shoulder assembly broke off.
For that reason, I feel like Titans do inherently deserve a worst FIGURE placement because fundamentally they do not work as figures you can play with easily.
so they're some of the worst figures because they're big? I mean they aren't 4ft big like a very particular 3p metroplex
Edit: Oh wow.
This is probably the most hit or miss list I’ve seen, I’m either hard agreeing or hard disagreeing, respect.
Thank you. Out of curiosity what did you disagree with, and what would you have included in it's place?
that cheetor robot mode pose is diabolical😭😭😭😭
Glad i waitied for the Second run of Vector Prime. Because if I got the first run i would've instantly returned it.
I probably should have, that would have been wise.
What is up with all the periods? Did your comma button break or something.
I just wish there was a good Chug Scaled Windblade.
@@PerspectiveEnd It's my voice recognition
I didn't like most of the figures too. I bought the Sideburn thinking, "it can't be that bad, right?" I immediately sold mine after a week.
Also, for some reason, I got a stupid smile on my face everytime i saw each figure standing up mistransformed.
The commitment to mistransforming everything is truly admirable.
5;26 I like swoop his transformation and his design. I'm going to ignore your dislikes on him.
Love that these figures were correctly turned in alt mode on the turn table
Which leader do you think fits better for Carnivac? They're both raiders who collect wealth to fund a greater purpose.
- Thundertron (sellout, brutal, shortsighted, wants to unite Predacons only to exterminate all Cybertronians)
- Wolfwire (Tactical, well-meaning, measured, aims to give equal prosperity, unity, and powerful sovereignty to the Predacons, and fix relations with Autobots afterwards)
Why did they even consider to remake an original carbot from RID 2001?
Swoop should've had articulated feet and more joints on his wings.
y u pose quake like that😭😭he didnt deserve that😭
I will say, I got the Energon Galvatron repaint and everything feels nice and tight. Just a nice little fun figure to plunk back and forth, only thing I dislike is the shoulder cannons parts form but I can understand that
I just feel like for 10 bucks it could have been a lot better. Like the shoulders can't even pull a 45.
i thought swoop was denieing letting your turn table turn him😭😭😭😭
ya know what this deserves an actual comment, the "alt modes" in your worst lists are just fantastic and make any awful figure worth something
I'm so glad I came up with the joke. It makes it so if there's ever a dud joke, the visuals carry.
Most of these bad 2024 figures just needed better QC or maybe if the design team actually cared. They would have avoided the list altogether
10:08 God Vector Prime… the show he was apart of at times was too infantilized.
What do you mean by that?
However for the Cybertron series the blackhole has the properties of both a wormhole and a blackhole.)
Trust me this is going to sound ridiculous how they tried to restrain the seemingly unstoppable expansion of the blackhole. So the Autobots still on Cybertron try to hauls the growth of the blackhole, the thing that’s so gravitationally dense that it’s basically a tear into space time that light cannot escape from it, by applying a greater amount of gravitational force upon the blackhole.
I’m sorry to say this, but I highly disagree with the majority of the choices you have made for the list
Can someone please explain who the Beast Machines fan he keeps talking about is? I'm both genuinely curious and baffled.
It's the one where Primal acts like a weird mystic hippie or some shit
@starstruck8862 somehow missed that.
But yea there was some who used to replay to anyone who critiqued beast machine. Don't now the username but perspective end mentioned this a while back in possibly the beast machines roast video.
*slowly pulls shadow striker and quake out, due to my enjoyment of them *
That's fine. I'm glad that you enjoy them more than I do.
From this list I got:
1. 86 Swoop
2. Windblade
3. Sandstorm
4. G1 Optimus
5. Vector Prime
6. Energon Megatron
7. Quake
8. Cybertron Hot Shot
Wow, from the 13 figures in this video, I got 8 of them…….
The question is, do you like them more than I do?

I really like most of them except quake.
Gotta agree about Energon Megatron. Something pops off of him everything I touch him, especially when I transform him.
