I'm doing my research about Cockatiels, hoping to make a home for one in early Spring! I've knowm people who had them and loved them dearly! They are such pretty little birds!
Me too, I am planning to get one in 2-3 months! Getting ready, I made a checklist for what I need! (Hope I do well with taking care of it!) Keep me updated on how yours is doing when/if you get one!
I had one. His name was Rip. He’d sing and it sounded like he was saying rip. Like every word was “rip”. Kinda like “I am Groot”. And if you interrupted him while he was singing he’d scream at you until you stop then he’d continue his song. He was also very much I love with himself. Cat calling at himself in the mirror. 🫠🥰😍😍🤣🤣 I miss him.
my brother has a cockatail it sings other songs and sings ''if ur happy do u know to clap ur hands'' and sings other kinds and makes sounds like doing the phone ring sound btw her name is Ame kuya named her that btw we still dont know if its a girl or boy she is very talented and kind it let me pet her when my brother is gone and it gets food on my hand softly she is very kind and loves carrot skin
I had a cockatiel named Angel. He died when he was 23. So when she said they only live to be 15-20 years, I was like he surpassed all the cockatiels! 😂❤

I have one, here is how I got my little scrimbilo bimbilo; One day, my mom saw a cockatiel, it is apparently kind of rare, since we never saw one, my dad want out to see it, he went right on his head! My mom gave him a hotdog bun, he loved it and went on her shoulder, we KNEW that it had to be someone’s, we went all about trying to find The owner,no one, so then I ran to my neighbor, and then, the adults tried rescuing him, us little children stayed away playing games and stuff, My friends mom got it in a cage, we went to the police department to ask anybody if it was theirs, but for some reason they said, we only have shelters for dogs and cats no birds sorry, so we kept the little scrunkly, and named him Antonio, or Tony, for short.
I used to have 3, mom,dad , and their baby boy. (Sadly the baby was the only egg that survived) we ended up selling them when we got a cat, but I remember that the dad used to copy the sound of me brushing my teeth in the morning. And would randomly do it though the day, or while I was brushing.
“We sold them after we got a cat”. Pretty shitty move on your parents part. You should’ve allowed them to co-exist. Otherwise you never should’ve gotten a cat.
@@brittanyo5182 wow rude, we wanted our birds to be able to fly around and not be stuck in a cage all day, we tried to let them co-exist for abt 2 months but we couldn't because the cat would try to get them, it was a good thing to sell them to a different family than have them live a terrible life stuck in a cage. Maybe think abt why having a cat and birds isn't the best thing? Instead of just jumping to the conclusion that it was a crappy decision?
@@brittanyo5182 and we didn't know we were getting a cat, she was a rescue we found outside abandoned in a dumpster, we saved her and just to attached to give her away.
