Alan never ever leaves! One of the very few funny times with Walden was when Walden said he could never sell the house because he'll have to convince the new owners that Alan comes with it!
The problem is that initially, Alan was actually pretty logical and such. It wasn’t until later they decided to fuck him over by making him be such a worm to the point he leeched off of Walden…. A complete…. Stranger…. That really should’ve thrown his worthless ass out. That’s something I don’t understand, you would’ve assumed by some point after his alimony wasn’t a concern anymore when Herb married Judith, he would’ve been able to save enough money to move away. But nope, greed and ignorance got in the way with him, along with terrible writing.
Episodes with Walden may have triggered a few chuckles here and there, but I never fell over laughing like I do in every episode with Charlie. I don't think I have even seen more than 10 episodes with Walden.
Charlie was out of control. Was it the end of an era when he was fired? Yep. But we have the shows he was in and how the cast worked. I watch the reruns almost every week but it's always funny. Akways.

Kind of like how Jake got stupid... he was probably just like normal teenagers, but in Charlie's perspective, due to his unfamiliarity with kids, thought he was just being an idiot.
Charlie always act like a jerk, but if we look closely he is a very good brother. Because every time when Alan comes back he let him move back without complain. But it is sad that Alan never release it.
I lost a lot of respect for Alan over the seasons. He lets his 2 ex-wives destroy him in divorce, which they shouldn't have been able to do. His lawyer should have been disbarred for he actions. He stops trying to improve him situation, instead takes advantage of people like Charlie and Walden. Then, when he gets involved with Lindsey, he's ok with her treating him like crap. I know it defeats the purpose of the show, but in Charlie's position if i had more $$ than i knew what to do with I would either A- buy Alan his own place and say good riddence Or B-pack up all MY stuff and relocate without telling anyone lol
Charlie wasn't that rich yes he had money but he blew most of it on women and alcohol and I remember Charlie funeral episode where it was mentioned he had two mortgage on the house so I doubt it but maybe he could rent him a nice apartment.
