I like the fact that Ashton did not attempt to copy Charlie and developed his own style.

@@danitho True, i enjoy the later seasons of two and a half man aswell, but charlie was kind of the show. Which i guess is which people complain about the change alot.. It basically turned into one show to another.

You can't replace the main character of a sitcom that has been running successfully for several years. It's like replacing Will from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air with a new nephew, or Sheldon from TBBT with a new physicist who moves in with Leonard. That just doesn't work.

@@dawhoda1 I agree. I've watched several interviews w/ C. Sheen since his departure from the show. The most recent was in 2021 on a podcast and he has actually grown-up alot compared to interviews he did 4-5 years ago. He now leases a home in Malibu compared to previously owning several homes. Charlie is a great actor who pushed many boundaries. Best of luck to him..

The best of Walden? There was no best of Walden. The choice to replace Charlie with Walden was a mistake. The show could have gone in a lot of different directions after Charlie went off the rails. The path they chose was nothing other than a disappointment for true fans of the show.

I like Ashton's Kutchers character but Charlie definitely was better. I think it's just cuz you're used to Charlie on this show and for him to not be there does feel strange cuz he was the main character but I feel if we didn't know Charlie this show would of been decent with Walden.
