Ever since I had a really bad Ritalin (ADHD med) come down during my first try, I get a sort of adrenaline twitch as soon as I am slipping away during meditation or doing Yoga Nidra. I'm not new to meditation, but not very pro either. Never had this before, until being burnt out due to the ADHD med mishap aftermath (9 months healing journey now). I'm desperately trying to figure out what causes this. Diet is good, vitamins I keep track of, walking min of 1 hour a day. In therapy, and getting support. But it's really stopping me from getting rest through meditation 😢
I’ve experiencing those jerking “ clonic, not tonic” movements. And I started to meditate quite recently to say I’m not advanced at anything. But those movements happens mostly when I’m in my car, sitting or driving. It’s a state of my mind, I guess, not carbon build up because of the breathing.. Lately it Intensified, but my meditation time is also increased. So, I correspond this to meditation, not the physiological component. Besides, how many people you’ve seen, who poisoned with carbon and did the jerking movements? But there are plenty who are meditate and have these experiences. Namaste 🙏
Hi, this is so weird as I have just bought some Vit D3, Vit B12, Magnesium, and Ashwagandha. I've been meditating on and off for the past 30 years but since 2017, consistently with Vedic Meditation. I am also a mature student and I guess the stress of work has made me prone to experiencing back pain, blood pressure rupture in my eye, and brain fog. Yesterday, I went into my meditation and suddenly experienced, my leg rising and dropping. I continued but found it difficult to not be surprised. Then I experienced a warm sensation around my shoulder area. I don't know if this a sign of 'awakening' or just see it as part of the practice which happens from time to time.
