The liquid chrome uses a different mix of "chrome" pigments compared to other chrome paint inks and the liquid silver. It's really for fine art, blackbooks? and modellers use it in an airbrush to paint models chrome.
I was about to say that too, MLC is primarily for modelling and art. For a blackbook I'd still not use it because it can flake off easier once it's dry, a silver POSCA or Daler&Rowney acrylic paint marker (very affordable) -or any of the other options in this video- would be better for that. But nothing beats MLC for gunpla, warhammer/40k, and just plain old chrome bumpers/trim and engine parts on Revell models. Though for the engine body of vintage models, the krink might actually be better - because it has that "cast metal" look.
@@allisterjones You didn't get anything wrong, yo, aside from it not being the best option to use in a blackbook that you're gonna flip through with some frequency - particularly because the mirror sheen will go hazy from the page-on-page friction, and the bending of the page will likely make it crack and flake off eventually. Something that was probably just a nice thing you decided to do actually added a huge amount of education.
@@Lorenmcdee really glad you're enjoying them! And it's great that you're picking up on the typography of it all cause a lot of graffiti artists even don't really understand that it's about now than just being able to write one combination of letters; it's about being able to create the style with any of the letters out there sorta like you're saying!
Thanks for the vid man! Keep up the great work 🤜
Thanks, will do!
Which one would be better to refinish clawfeet on a clawfoot bathtub?
I'm probably in the wrong place. I was Looking to compare Krylon Silver Metallic Markers vs Molotow Liquid Chrome.
Great review!! Salute!!!
What about Montana liquid paint?
I’ll use that small pump marker to catch landies, ground tags and rusty spots 👀
haha maybe with an extra nib
great video! what do you think of Krink K-60 Chrome?
The chrome itself is super nice and it's hard not to like it! The mop is solid of course but it's not something I want to fork the money out for on a regular basis
Dropping vids at 5 AM lmao
Helluva early bird aren't ya?
We need an update with the new Krink K60 Chrome vs the Montana Liquid Chrome. Just got the Monty 5mm and the shine on that bad boy is next level!
That's a very good idea and one that I hope to do soon!
Thanks for your hard work bud!
My pleasure bro
well we have to account for the package holding the paint and ink
Have you heard of these mops from Evolve? I got a couple and they seem pretty drippy and so far they’ve held up really well in the wild.
Yeah I have seen them before but can't get them too easily in my area. They look worth a try though
not yt showing me this after i bought my first molotow dripstick last week and its a chrome one too lol, there was no other colors i wanted black cuz i still didnt tag with black (new to tagging) but chrome will do the job too) also i didnt know they sell it in art stores here, they sell the molotow refills too is it worth it? i bought the molotow 10mm/70ml chrome dripstick for 11.4$
I usually buy refills online cause it's cheaper for me but depending on where you are the refills might be more reasonable in store? Definitely nothing wrong with a good dripstick tho!
@@ScizGraffiti what's considered a good price for molotow refill paint?
@@gamerprogirl2740 for the 125ml ones that are alcohol based I'd day anything under 17 USD is a deal and for the coversall that's in 250ml, even 25 bucks is as cheap as you'll see probably. The molotow refills are really expensive in general.
Love the vids man!!
Thank you! 🍻
How about the uni paint silver?
Appreciate the input and effort put into this review. I like Krink products, but I do know it’s overpriced compared to competitors by far.
Can the molotow and krink be polished if needed?
you ARE the man for all these artfully crafted reviews... articulate exposition, real quantitative edification, AND you save me some shekels. RIGHTEOUS yo. 🤙🏻💨
I really appreciate that! As long as they are clear and hopefully helpful to someone, I'm happy
Cover ur cap with the liquid chrome and take ur time and it will be mirror finish
Awesome video was waiting along time for someone to make this video!! Only sad thing is that you forgott the uni px30
Yeah I feel you. I have yet to find a place that I can buy them from in my area. I know a few US stores have them, but my dollar is dog water over there
Great content...love this video. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
ok so how about putting a needle cap on a flame orange chrome and spraying that into a mop, shiniest drippiest chrome on the market drips like nothing else can, will get on your shoes its so drippy so i guess have fast feet
sadly you didn't include the uni paint marker
Thank you for this video, dude.
Hey, no problem at all man

The molotow would be more obviously better than Krink if u tested it out also in a mop as u did wit the others
how
@@bimko. its Liquid chrome it aint 27$ for nothing
Yeah agreed, but like I sorta said, the cost to fill a mop with that stuff would be at least 60 bucks if you want it even remotely full :/
@@ScizGraffiti i understand that i would hate to have to do that also
Honestly any silver is a great silver, but if it were up to me I’d buy gallons of the silver uni paint but they don’t do refills 😭
Compare it to the uni paint px30
I do have a px30 review coming up soon actually! Dope marker
Chromeparison
great video !!!
thank you man!
I want to try the krink silver the video might have convinced me to spend that extra $$ next time I put an order in
yeah if it's like an item that'd make the difference between a free shipping minimum or not, or something like that, then it'd be a good one to throw in!
uni paint px-30 is the best chrome in my opinion
great video bro
Thanks man, much appreciated
I got a 30ml refill from ap and I'm debating putting it in my new px30 whatcha 🤔
Depends on the refill. If you're talking about the Molotow liquid chrome specifically I think it'd flow really nice in the px30 👌👌
@@ScizGraffiti yeah that's what I ment.lol thanks sciz love ya brotha stay up
No dr. Guts.... :/
You are sooooo underated
Thank you man. I appreciate that 🙏
Where in Australia could I get all these
Thank you dude
No problem man!
I ran a business, when the liquid molotow chrome was on fire, we would rack shit tons of it and sell it for 20 bucks
Interesting comparison even though you can’t really compare silver to chrome.
yes u can
Hey Sciz I ordered a pilot mini off of bombing science but when it Arrived the cap Was off the marker so I’m guessing during shipping it knocked off and the nib was dry and won’t write do you know how to fix this and make it write again?
I would contact bombing science about that. I've only ever had a couple problems with them, but they were really good at resolving them when I contacted them. Probably would be best to try the email on their website for order issues
@@ScizGraffiti ok thanks I’ll be sure to contact them
the grog chorme is also very good
yeah definitely good for the price especially
I paid 700.- DM (Deutsche Mark) 1995 for chrome paint. Dunno what that was in $
Will the grog full met paint flow through pump action markers?
Not the full metal paint but the grog xtra flow paint csn pass through marker nibs
Ayyyye another pluto hitoff
Just got the krink silver and tags are running hard.
👌
my favorite is montana acrylic ink
definitely a a strong choice :)
nice wideo! i tested out a couple of chrome paints myself. uni pait have amazing oil based formula as well as pilot. sadly no refills.
Still haven't got my hands on tje uni yet but an oil based chrome is super intriguing.
@@ScizGraffiti where you located...I can send you one
the sl77 from mefians would have been good to see
Yeahi still gotta get my hands on it!
The action begins at 8:30.
silver is actually ~10g per ml
Yes true. A buddy of mine pointed that out as well right after I posted this video haha
That’s crazy 👌
You forgot all about montana chrome
look below for another comment where I address that :)
Will MLC mix well with Krink?
Haven't tried the Montana liquid chrome so idk but I'd be interested to see the outcome
Dope shades
Use the tag RAT next video:)
Just addd RAT to my list!
@@ScizGraffiti thanks bro
