I understand inflation but at this point it just feels like "let's see how much we can charge for food just cause we can." I remember once upon a time McDonald's was like the cheapest of the Big 3 the other 2 being Burger King and Wendy's and Wendy was always the slightly more expensive option cause it was a bit more premium where I live Wendy's has become the cheaper option compared to McDonald's and the food is still better at Wendy's. It's absolutely crazy. It shouldn't be this way.
Hey King, been watching for a while but this is my first comment and I really appreciate your content and its apart of my life watching the new vids everyday, but these health tips or meal tips really help someone like myself who is 150+lbs overweight and haven't been able to find a sustainable lifestyle change when it comes to food, so I really appreciate it when you talk about it. It sheds some light in an area where its so dark in my life. Hope you have a great day!
King, these are my favorite frozen wings. Aldi's sold them a couple years back too. I would rather pay $10 for 12-16 frozen wings in a bag, than $6 for 6 wings from Popeyes.
Hey King. I'm a silent watcher for the most part. I really appreciate the health/diet information that you discuss and would watch any future content like this as well.
I like that this is comfort food, but less calories. Need recipes like this. Thank you. Also, I just cut all fast food out. First, because it was the cost versus portion. Then it just started helping me loose weight.
I have to try the mac&cheese recipe. I love watching you . I hardly ever comment. You are an amazing content creator. I love how real and authentic you are. Keep being you my love.
Haagen Dazs is the first company that I think of when I think of shrinkflation. They went from an actual pint (16oz) to now 14 oz. Dick moves by these big companies
McDonald's meal deal is BS, I get a McDouble and a small fry for $3 and some change and I fix my drink at home. So you're right they need to come better than that
I always see those wings at my store (i guess they are not popular here) so i will have to try to pick some up! i love a good chicken wing and even better when i can just pop it into my air fryer.
Many of these companies may profit short term but will lose in the long term. They are driving away customers they will never get back. Lots of people are learning they can cook at home for half the cost and twice the quality.
I hear you brother, fast food is a rare treat for me now. The convenience no longer out weighs the cost which was its main appeal before. So now I cook at home way more than I used to. Yeah it sucks sometimes after a long day at work but the enormous amount of money I save at the end of the month, along with just eating higher quality food overall is worth the extra effort imo. It takes a special deal or item to get me to go to these places now. Like Subway had a buy one get one for free offer on subs for the beginning of May. That brings it nearly down to the $5 footlong days, which brought me back after almost a year of not going there.
@KingSchratz about the Mc.Donald's deal, they have done that were i live. It was about $5 for a McDouble, McChicken or 10 Nuggets with a drink and fries, but its been like a few months since they removed it.
11:55 Consumers need to realize our money is power and we should be wielding it against companies that want to price gouge us at every corner. Way to go King using your voice 👏🏽
Amazing recipe. I recently made some mac with barilla protein penne, provolone, permesan, sharp cheddar, bacon and panco. All cheeses were grated. Used butter, flour and heavy whipping cream for my rue. Check out Almazan kitchen's mac n cheese for this recipe it is fire.
Never seen collard greens in a can before thats convenient AF lol also fast food out here in Hawaii is priced way more than the states. Wendys 4for4 is $8-$9 here😢 McDonald's charges at least $14-$15 a regular meal too😭
Most people understood when prices went up due to supply chain issues and increases in wholesale costs, but people aren't stupid and know that much of that has been resolved. They see the business news when corporations issue quarterly reports and have record profits. That's being greedy and squeezing the consumer dry.
Great video. Couldn’t agree more with the corporate greed with these fast food places. Chipotle has really gone down hill. They have way too many locations. Lately I feel the same about chick fila, quality has gone down while it seems they have opened more and more locations.
I actually feel bad for the fast food owners at my local BK, Wendy's, Arby's, and Checker's because I only get the steals that are on the app, and never pay full price ever. I don't even get BOGOs anymore. My new budget is $2 or less.
One of the best meals deals is the 2 piece fried chicken meal at the hot food counter. Haven’t been there in a while but I remember it used to be something like under $4 for a thigh and leg and 1 side…$4 and change for 2 sides.
McDonald’s is still ripping with that $5 meal. You could always “make a meal” with any sandwich at McDonald’s it’s like $5.40 where I’m at rn. IMO just make mf chickens and McDoubles back to $1
Its kinda crazy to me that these companies charge out the ass for their food. It comes cold/dry/cheese not even fuckin melted and it's 20+ for a single person if you actually want enough food to walk away satisfied. Inflation is a cop out. American average is still like 40k a year. This is straight up price gouging
Worse than chipotle is cafe Rio. How that place has been in business as along as they have been is amazing. It absolutely sucks and is vastly inconsistent on how good or bad they are
I call it “pu-caun” and thank god here in the south we got them pecan trees in our yard so we got them in ziplocks in the freezer year round. ☺️ bless it 😂❤
McDonald's havent been giving us their A-Game since the late 80s, ever since they went worldwide. they used to fry the food in Beef Tallow, they used to Deep Fry their Pies, lotta things they used to do/be and it's never hit like it did back then. and with the inflation making everything cost more money, McD's aint offering jack shit compared to what they charge. you gotta believe me when i say that i HATE the truth that's flying out my fingers right now, because like a lot of people, i used to love McD's, but i cant and that SUCKS!
My fiance and me went to Sonic and I got some cheese sticks and I swear the diameter and length are smaller and more expensive then when I went a few years ago so I know what you mean
I can verify that Kingschratz is not lying lol. I use to work at Cheesecake Factory and the entrees definitely pack a good 2800 to 3500 calories in the food
When I discovered your channel you were cooking a lot meals instead of mostly fast food reviews, I miss these kind of videos, thank you.
He will do them occasionally. He’s mentioned several times they don’t perform well relative to other videos he posts.
I love when you talk about your diet/what you cook. I’m about the health life, but also a fat kid at heart.
Agreed

Didn't know these wings existed, I gotta hit up my local wally's and try em! Thanks for putting me on, fam.
Thank ya for always keeping it real doesn’t go unnoticed

Love your videos but the discussions at the end just make them even better keep em coming!
Rotel in Mac and cheese it amazing. It make it with sharp cheddar, a rough, bake it, and it is 😍
Many of these companies may profit short term but will lose in the long term. They are driving away customers they will never get back. Lots of people are learning they can cook at home for half the cost and twice the quality.
Thank You; Quality Ingredients!💡💡💯🙏🏾😇🍓
Love love love no intro! …and you are the best food reviewer on you tube by far! Keep it up bro!
Wings and King = instant W

I always look at those wings when I pass by them and they sound delicious. Definitely will have to try them now! 👍🏼 Thank you for this review! 🙏🏼
Bless you bro. You are amazing
Speaking straight factzzz🗣️
I don't care what the YT algorithm says... I enjoy these videos when you show what you cook at home! Not everything has to be ordered!
@KingSchratz about the Mc.Donald's deal, they have done that were i live. It was about $5 for a McDouble, McChicken or 10 Nuggets with a drink and fries, but its been like a few months since they removed it.
Hey try the Walmart cinnamon butter it’s the better version of Texas Roadhouse they have a whole line of new foods
I had no idea Walmart had these wings. Please do more hidden gems from them!
Black cherry Canada dry. 🍒 🇨🇦 It's good. Other good ones are polar, waterloo, bubblee, poland spring, la croix.
Thanks King, much love n respect
I agree with everything you said about the fast food industry right now. It is all greed.
11:55 Consumers need to realize our money is power and we should be wielding it against companies that want to price gouge us at every corner. Way to go King using your voice 👏🏽
❤❤ King is Back with another Banger ❤❤
glad you’re speaking on the chipotle topic…
1:52 1:52 1:52 yes Lawd! I love glory greens. They don’t have them in Seattle. 😢
King doesn’t miss keep dropping these bangers💪🏿

Great Video. I Love your honesty 💯💯💯
The best wings from ANY grocery store chain comes from Publix.
Knowledge is the key. ❤

6:06 i definitely care!!! im trying to transform my body
Facts, McDonald's thinking they are a 4 n 5 star restaurant. Hell fast food places is the same price as a damn restaurant. Quality of food is down.
rock bottom, no cap.
Yea the seapak butterfly shrimp got small 2
McChickens are 4.99 here in California. Pricing is insane right now
King telling zero lies today.
Great video. Couldn’t agree more with the corporate greed with these fast food places. Chipotle has really gone down hill. They have way too many locations. Lately I feel the same about chick fila, quality has gone down while it seems they have opened more and more locations.
Good thing you got them wings i heard they closing alot of Walmarts and red lobster 😢
Look at the bottom of McDonald's receipt its buy one get one w/phone for a code. Can't find these wings at Walmart online or store.
How many carbs does the macaroni have?
I have tried those chicken wings before and they are pretty tasty.
We love you man .
Yup, McDonald's McChicken used to be for $1 back in the early to mid 2000s.😢
another videooo ON. THE. CHANNEL!
Greatest intro of all time 😂
Have you tried the ones from safeway/alberstons? they are not bad lol
Real ass dude
I actually feel bad for the fast food owners at my local BK, Wendy's, Arby's, and Checker's because I only get the steals that are on the app, and never pay full price ever. I don't even get BOGOs anymore. My new budget is $2 or less.
That much fat free cheese got my stomach doing backflips right now.
Walmart chicken in general are a banger!!
One of the best meals deals is the 2 piece fried chicken meal at the hot food counter. Haven’t been there in a while but I remember it used to be something like under $4 for a thigh and leg and 1 side…$4 and change for 2 sides.
A McChicken here in upstate NY is $2.59
They are totally NOT fast food unless parking and waiting for food every time counts, lol.
McDonald's had that 3$ deal going on for a while doesn't sound much different.
Acme Wings go crazy
OG style King video.👍
Can you go into chipolte and order a burrito or bowl and just see the portion size? This would be awesome to see beacuse chipolte aint the same no mo
Preach brother!! 🎉👏
It's cheaper to eat at home then go out
McDonald’s is still ripping with that $5 meal. You could always “make a meal” with any sandwich at McDonald’s it’s like $5.40 where I’m at rn. IMO just make mf chickens and McDoubles back to $1
Bro made food sound political 😂😂😂

Will you eat at Cheesecake Factory or get food to go?
McDonald's havent been giving us their A-Game since the late 80s, ever since they went worldwide. they used to fry the food in Beef Tallow, they used to Deep Fry their Pies, lotta things they used to do/be and it's never hit like it did back then. and with the inflation making everything cost more money, McD's aint offering jack shit compared to what they charge. you gotta believe me when i say that i HATE the truth that's flying out my fingers right now, because like a lot of people, i used to love McD's, but i cant and that SUCKS!

don't know if you have it there, but the canned Glory fried apples are a must. sweet and still great texture, not mush.

My fiance and me went to Sonic and I got some cheese sticks and I swear the diameter and length are smaller and more expensive then when I went a few years ago so I know what you mean
Publix wings are better get the Mardi Gras wings
cheesecake factory entres are definitely not over 3000 calories by themselves
They have multiple meals that clock in around 3000 cal including the fettuccine Alfredo which clocks in at 3209.
I can verify that Kingschratz is not lying lol. I use to work at Cheesecake Factory and the entrees definitely pack a good 2800 to 3500 calories in the food
