Ekko has been the realest in the show from day one, putting his people on top at EVERY occasion, absolutely never letting anyone down, he deserved a good ending man.
'Go spin the wheel' is low-key my favourite song in the second season. And yeah, Heimer and Ekko are living their best lives while Jayce is speed-running Elden Ring.
The dance is in 4fps Bcs ekko can rewind 4 seconds. Also it shows that ekko’s replaying this in his head and he doesn’t want that moment to end.. this episode broke me 🥲…
"Jayce had to face hell to understand the burden of responsibility and the sacrifices needed for progress and leadership. Ekko had to leave his heaven to grow resilient, realizing that creating change means confronting harsh realities and letting go of the innocence of his past." - Some wise man
The lyrics of the song when they dance are so cool, it’s a song about toxic/impossible love. The sentence in it that resume the song is « I hate you, I love you », Ekko always loved Powder but acts made by Jinx forced him to reject his love, that’s why he hesitated to punch her more in season 1, that’s why he has Owl Mask ‘cause they’re one of the only birds that see clearly the blue color. Absolute cinema 🤌
Episode 7 broke me with the series. It's such a beautiful analogy for the reality that life is chaotic and we don't get to choose our lives, but we do get to make the decisions that affect our lives.
Carmen I'm dying at the "this show ain't getting any more tears from me" lmaoo. Your most recent 3 Arcane reacts have been BANGERS, the Blisters and Bedrock ep was my personal most emotionally scarring episode of 5/6/7. Keep em comin, excited for the final two!!!!!!
By the way Yordles (Like Heimerdinger) don't die. Instead they just respawn in Bandle town. So Heimerdinger is not dead hopefully that will make you less sad
Many people is mental AFK while watching shows. They react to what they see but doesen't think about the big picture. I guess most people who wass actually paying attention to the show wasn't as mad towards Jayce. On the other hand, those who fail to make connections just forgot Jayce went through some kind of timewarp came back looking older and angrier but still failed to think about what may had happened.
@ some reaction channel were really not focusing on the story and hating Jayce for the bad reasons, not focusing on the good stuff he did and why he was doing what he had to do!
When you first see it, he's really goes from 0-100; little talking straight to murder. That had to be intentional because he's the only one with parts not in chronological order. If you saw episode 7 Jayce before episode 6 (especially if you saw the hole scene where the question he asked is answered) you'd just be cheering on Jayce for most of the show.
This episode broke me so much. A reality where everyone lived happier lives and got to live peacefully. Ekko and powder having the chance to be together. It just kills me inside, to see Ekko have everything he wanted in another life, his father, the girl, his teacher, and his peace. Makes me jealous as well cause I never married my best friend. But at least Ekko and another version of me did.
This reaction was everything I wanted since Ive started seeing reactions of this episode. But this was by far the most relatable, especially with Powder and Ekko.
I think this is a good place to comment this, even if it's not seen. This episode really enforced 'The Boy Saviour' that is Ekko. Powder saying how he never gives up on anything, really comes back in ep 9. But most importantly, Ekko saved this version of Piltover and Zaun as well. Heimerdinger has been there for 3.5ish years. This was after meeting Ekko and learning how he'd failed the under city. So being thrust back with that knowledge he made the changes he wish he could've originally. This was Ekko's happy ending, getting everything he could've dreamt of. Renewing his focus and determination for what he does next. It's probably the most important episode IMO.
4:34 "Maybe it's the Grim Reaper...?" No, the Grim Reaper looks much different in this universe ... and their name is Kindred. If you watch the "Still Here" League Cinematic you will see what they look like.
@@asmodeous7758 No pretty sure you're incorrect my friend. Kindred IS death, the lamb and wolf are two sides of the same coin. Lamb offers swift death to those that accept it and wolf hunts those that run from it. She appears in several of the shorts of the last few years in different ways.
You should look up the English lyrics for the song that played when Ekko and Powder were dancing together, it makes it so much sadder when you understand the lyrics
If you want a happy thought from this episode: Heimerdinger is apart of a race called Yordle. Yordles are spiritual beings and exist outside of the material world so they don’t age or die. So when Heim jumped out to keep the machine running to send Ekko back, instead of dying his body just simply gets taken back and respawns in his home city of Bandle :)
special fact idk if anyone in the comments pointed it out. the dance scene with ekko and powder was made in 4ps because ekko can go back 4 seconds. ( take note, the number 4 connects to ekko a lot throughout the who show season one and two.
did you know that the dance scene is played at 4 frames a second and echos time loop maxes out at 4 seconds. it’s played like this to represent how bad he wanted that moment to last
My favorite best episode of the already incredibly brilliant series. This viewers do not realize the level of immense intricate DETAILS in the episode. (1) That french song "Ma meilleure ennemie" lyrics PERFECTLY encapsulates the push-pull romance dynamic feelings between Ekko and Jinx/powder. This song skyrocketed in viewership numbers to highest views and replays on the Riot Games Music youtube channel after this episode 7 was released. (2) The slow mo dance scene was at 4 frames per second which hints at Ekko's time reversal limit of 4 seconds (3) Notice gorgeous Jinx/ Powder has the same natural dance moves like her mother. This probably explains how she noticed Ekko's moves because she got that dance instinct from her mama. (4) The NECKLACE Ekko leaves with Jinx/ Powder has a blue rose which is symbolic of unattainable love due to the fact that blue roses do not exist hinting at Ekko's love for THIS version of Jinx/ Powder but he can not stay with her no matter how much he wants to because he has to return to his own timeline. I heard that if you looked very closely at that necklace, you will see the faces of Jinx/ Powder and Ekko within the image of the blue rose. (5) This episode is EXTREMELY important towards events in Episode 9/ final episode of sn2. (6) On this episode 7, Ekko's story theme is "What could have been" while Jayce's story theme is "What should NOT be". (7) In this Ekko's alternate timeline, Silco "found the will to forgive" re-establishing his brotherhood with Vander because of the LETTER from Vander in Season 1. Bonus tidbit.... (8) Ekko has a owl inspired mask which he wore in season 1. Guess what?.... Owls have a narrow limited visual color spectrum so they usually mostly see color BLUE. Ding Ding Ding, Jinx/ Powder...her hair, she is the only one with blue hair.
Why is no one taking about how funny the ending is? Echo and the professor went to great lengths to recreate hex tech from scratch only for jinx to have it in abundance inside her drawee. I'm Dead 😂😂
Jinx/Powder had hex stones NOT hex tech. She didn't know how make hextech until Ekko and Heimerdinger made it. NOTE: They left the hextech behind along with Ekko's notes which that version of Jinx aka Powder can use with her collection of hexstones.
Ekko actually does have parents. In original lore and in the lore of his game Convergence they just work in a factory too often to see him. I assume that’s also the case in the show as the Wild Rift Arcane event also confirmed that Benzo was there for Ekko even when his parents couldn’t be.
Hiemer's a Yordle; a creature of magic. They don't die in a conventional sense so he'll re-spawn in the Spirit Realm and could make his way back if he wanted. A detail I love about the dance between Ekko and Powder is everyone else in the room disappears as soon as they start dancing together.
One thing you should know is that Yordles don't die. When they do they "reincarnate" into their home-realm of Bandle City. So if ever, Heimer could just make his way back to Piltover if he wanted to.
Hi Carmen ! First of all thank you so much for the content you offer us. The moment when you realize that in a way Jayce was sent into his "good" universe - coz if Jayce´s illegal stack of Arcane killed Vi he was probably imprisoned or exiled for life in the Ekko universe, and lookign at episode 2 Jayce, he probably commited s*icide as a result of not being able to create Hextech.
