This video made my day. I love the music package (especially towards the end) as well as how you stayed calm amidst the chaos. Keep it up. You're amazing.
I lived in CLT, got married there.. it’s one of the most boring cities ever. I’d rate Asheville, Raleigh or Boones much higher than Charlotte. What’s so beautiful about CLT? 🙄
Also most Av Geeks flew to Tampa from Boston on the JetBlue Airbus A220-300 inaugural flight and flew unique flights just to get to LA including Zach TPA to DTW to SLC to BUR, other av geeks flew Southwest TPA to DEN to BUR, Spirit TPA to FLL to LAX, American TPA to MIA to LAX just to fly Avelo.
Charlotte Douglas has grown on me. I just did the death run from C to A gates at Dulles after a very late United flight from Hartford. Those trains at Dulles are so inconvenient it’s not funny. Charlotte, on the other hand, is more thoughtfully laid out. But I’ll venture to say Bradley is one of the best east coast airports.
I was just at Charlotte last week and had to do a death run. Had to run from middle of E to far-end of C. Full on jogging and saying "excuse me, pardon me" to a whole bunch of people to make it to my gate with a few minutes to spare.
Got stuck at Charlotte for two days in February 2021 waiting for an American flight back to White Plains, NY. Not a good way to become familiar with every inch of Charlotte Douglas.
I just flew on American last week, (after three trips in a row on United) Experience was pretty similar. April I was on United ORD-DEN on 777-300. I had purchased an upgrade to "First", which is Polaris on those aircraft. Excellent! I needed that so I could make my connecting flight in Denver, since otherwise I was in the last row of economy. After I got back to Ohio from that trip, I was on United again to Memphis. Both of these flights were on the CRJ-200, which for me is the absolute worst aircraft. No space whatsoever. This most recent flight took me to Norfolk via Charlotte on American. CRJ-700, and then A319 that I was upgraded (for free) to MCE. The CRJ700 feels soooo mcuh bigger than the CRJ200. I'm not a tall guy, but even I feel very cramped on the 200. 700 is livable for a couple of hours. Then, like I said, A319. It was very similar in size to my longer United 737 flights that I had taken in March in their Economy Plus. The only thing that really bothers me about American is those stupid credit card announcements. Who gives a crap?! I know that American is basically a loyalty program with an airline. But I already have two AAdvantage cards, and I'm not going to go out of my way to get a third. Especially when you still only earn 1 LP per dollar with no chance at earning bonus LP. I'm roughly 5k LP from Gold on American. 50% of the way to Silver on United. I'm sure I'll reach status on American, and maybe United. I will say that United's snacks are much better. (Looking at you stroopwafel) but I've had better experience with American's flight attendants. Other than my flight in First on United, the other United flight attendants come off as very cold. I got more snacks on a United Express or American Eagle flight than I did on a six-hour mainline United flight. I've been looking at taking a trip to the UK later this year, and my choices are American or United out of my local airport. Hopefully United's longer flight experience improves!
First Class is not like it used to be!! It’s not even worth paying for pretzels and a small bottle water. The last time I flew on AA in First class the flight attendant gave me the wrong meal and there was no more what I asked for!! I prefer Delta or Jetblue
Flew American yesterday, Cleveland-Charlotte-home, economy all the way. Airbus PACKED. COVID spreader? In any case, cattle car. Why I prefer trains. Worth the time for the added comfort.
Hey mrjazzboy, I’m planing on doing some flight review in the next few months and I was wondering what editing program do you use? Anyways from that, I really enjoy all of your videos!
At the time AA still had 500 mile upgrades & I guess I accidentally checkmarked CLT-DEN which is above 500...so when I checked in they wanted $200+ from me 😂
Yes, God help you! You arrive at DEN at 1230am but your body clock would still be on Eastern Time which was 230AM! So you had roughly a 3hr nap at a La Quinta then back to the airport for more chaos? Better you than me! :) Haven't traveled on AA since the MD80 days and never have ridden any airlines' A321s. Never flew during the pandemic, much less with the federal mask mandate so am not aware of US carriers inflight offerings or lack thereof!
It’s always a good day whenever TJG13 uploads :D

The summer of 2021 flights to Hawaii were using Concourse D at Charlotte as well as domestic widebody flights too

Absolutely excellent video Chris and I’m glad that kid chilled out on flight 2 lol!

7:57: Synthwave on airplane/airline reviews, always appreciated. Especially reviews mostly taking place at dusk/night. 😎
Row 16F and 16A on Southwest Airlines Boeing 737-800s and MAX 8 have unlimited legroom as well as Row 12A on a Boeing 737-700
Thank you! This is very helpful.
Idk why but i always love the takeoff part and also the boarding part

Good idea with another difference of the seating/row options on a different airline!
Yup JetBlue Airways has free WiFi not like Other Airlines LOL Team JetBlue Airways all the way Awesome Video Man!!!!
great video..
Best hair of any RUclips presenter.
I agree
I always found it funny there was that 3rd drink tray in the center console in front of the seat but it's so low like who would use that?

Southwest Airlines is installing better WiFi, more entertainment options on your phone and USB charging outlets with one per seat!!!
I am surprised that an A321 delivered new in 2015 (first flight of this video) still had wingtip fences. I thought they all had sharklets by then.

I like the video The Jazzguy13 so awesome love watching your videos
Any time I hear first class,I think of that new Jack harlow song.(also like how you watched Harry styles documentary, as a music fan RESPECT)
It was not long ago when very few if any folks would wear something like a hockey t-shirt on a flight... especially not in first class.
You should've filmed first class on the longer flight and economy on the shorter flight!!!
You’re not in charge, he’ll do what he wants
Why would American “force” you to upgrade to 1st class?? I have never heard of a forced upgrade. Great vid as usual 👍

Try avoiding Legacy U.S. Airways interiors if flying American Airlines due to no adjustable headrests and no power outlets!!!
