- Checked out a new artist. Never heard of this man before and loved what I saw. Really solid track and lots of heart. I appreciate his honesty and introspection. Very deep and real song.

At 7:23 I think personally what Isaiah is saying is not flat out self-harm but more of hurting yourself at a young age such as following around the wrong crowd of people or following bad examples and really following the footsteps of "bad" parenting... In the album, he mentions that his father taught him how to use and abuse people how to sort "cut" off people you don't need and he sees himself as someone he doesn't need hence "cutting myself as a child" like also cutting off his childhood. I think that is what he really means in the term of "cutting" but I could also see how it relates to real self-harm also and that is what it sort of leads to him cutting himself at a developing stage of life.
