Ray Lewis, one of football's greatest linebackers, retired from the Baltimore Ravens after being awarded XXXV Super Bowl MVP and 2x Super Bowl Champion.

God his HOF speech will be probably the most memorable ever. This man along with iverson have to be two of the most inspirational individuals in sports history. Two men that beat every odd and finished their careers as inspiring millions and being respected as the greatest in the game, at the highest level of competition for their respective sports. Incredible.

I dont mean in the sense of being better than jordan but at the guard position iverson was the most fearless and had the most ball skill, period. Carried his team by himself to a finals with no help. He's a legend was my point.

Man, I tell you, this video really hit home to me. My mom is the biggest blessing in my life and right now, every day she's fighting through a lot of emotional abuse in her life and just like Ray felt - I feel helpless because as of now I'm not able to stand up to her demons and give her the life she deserves. But every time I sit down with my work opened in front of me, I take a minute and think about her. Just like Ray did, I hope to one day repay my momma for the blessings she's given me in my life. I dedicate this degree to you mom and hope I can one day make you the proudest mother in the world.

I’m playing this while I’m working out. What ray was going through was the one I was going throught since the day I was born 1996. My pain seeing my father hurting my mother and I couldn’t do anything because we don’t have a power against a person who had a weapon. One day I’m going to be a policeman and I would take this quote “NO PAIN WILL EVER STOP ME FROM TAKING CARE OF MY MOM AND MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS.” Currently I do have a injury pulled hamstring.

This mental toughness is probably the greatest thing that sets apart pro athletes, well pro bowl and 2 time super bowl champ and a.super bowl MVP apart from everybody else. The mind is a wonderful thing it can be ur greatest allie or greatest enemy, but Ray Lewis is a different breed of man he is special, they do not make them like that anymore.
