The day I get tired of your excitement is the day I'm tired of life, I had such a huge grin on my face as you solved it and explained everything.
That is an amazing looking puzzle too, I understand making it available for people to print at home but if it was possible to ship it complete I'd argue they should go for it.

I stopped at 10:30 to comment. This thing is FULL of cool hidden boxes and plugs and tools! It sounds like Mr. Puzzle is having a great time solving this one!
This puzzle was so well built. As someone with 3d design experience I have so much respect for not just thinking of it but figuring out how to design it on PC to function physically.
It appears that the gear inside also fits on the outside within the gears. There is a hole for the shaft.
there is no shaft on the "gear". What looks like a shaft is actually a small version of the lid of the box.
Very clever. Also, not insane to solve. I absolutely love this puzzle box. I can 100% see this being an epic "find the prize" gift. Thanks for sharing.

That is a beautiful 3D printed puzzle. I am continually amazed at the puzzles that people come up with. I love the idea of sequential discovery puzzles, they keep you hooked as well as the viewer. Also that last mechanism 😍

Yes I agree - looks gorgeous and really fun to solve - but don’t have a 3D printer so definitely would love if it was available to buy ready made (or even as a kit with all the pieces and instructions to assemble myself).
Just bought the STL files. Will begin to print this puzzle for myself on my FLsun Super Racer 3D Printer. This puzzle will be as much fun to solve as it will be to print and assemble.

@mrpuzzle you are so damn good at puzzling! Your engineering brain is teaching us all how to analyze things in general. I watch other puzzle youtubers hamfist their way through puzzles but you have finesse and work smarter, not harder!

Indeed; Mr.Puzzle's methodical and logical approach to puzzle solving (and his explanations of his techniques) have taught me a lot of tricks and skills that I've been able to use in my daily and work life.
One very memorable example was when I worked at a fast food place and accidentally knocked a piece loose on the drink dispenser while cleaning it so that it stopped dispensing ice - I was able to use knowledge I'd gained from this channel to fix the dispenser and saved my boss a $400 call to have a service technician come out and do it.
Even more cool, the creator of this sells the STL files to make your own for a really reasonable price.

This is one of the best puzzles you have solved. It's very good because it has everything, varied mechanics It's difficult but not too difficult, it looks beautiful and has the right amount of steps to it and your enthusiasm for it made it even better.

amazing puzzle. one thing that does need changing, however, is to make the end of the little wrench wider than the slits in the box so you won't be able to drop it inside. if that thing gets lost inside those slits then there is no way you're ever gonna get it out.

Because they use the word "necessary" in the rules where it says "no force necessary" instead of prohibiting it you are clear to smash it on the floor for a speed solve.

It would be heckin' expensive, but imagine how this would look if instead of 3D printing it you milled it out of brass and aluminium.

This cube thing- with all those mysterious wheels and tubes- is a perfect puzzle for engineers.
a bit dissapointed that it took an engineer 8 minutes to figur that out

They should sell it, because if you have to print it out and assemble it, that defeats the whole point because you just reverse how you put it together.

Do you know what, the creator has missed a potential trick, the token you you got from inside, as it was a gear, they should have given it a pin on one side as an axle, that you could then add to the other gears after you have got it from inside, as a medal display of sorts. Great puzzle !
