I've owned this watch for several months and it really is a fantastic piece. Best bezel action I've ever experienced and the Elabore grade movement is consistently between +7-10 s/day. And it is incredible legible.
I love this watch, it surpassed all of my expectations. This is an absolute stunner of a sport watch. I bought this as an after thought when a good deal popped up and I thought I would soon flip it, however it is now part of my normal rotation. Great review.
Got one of these with Teddy's paperwork...the Himalaya...for 500 bux from eBay. Best money I've ever spent on a watch. Gets more attention than primetime pieces. Very well built and handsome rugged watch.
I was going through these videos and have a question - are there any competitors at this price point? Laco even offers the option of providing the “Top” regulation of the movement within COSC standards. That, plus the excellent case, 200m WR and ceramic bezel = huge bang for buck. Would be great to know if there are other similarly priced options.
Hi Teddy, a very nice video and great looking pice. But what is your view on the upgraded movement? Is the "topgrade" movement wothe the extra money in the longterm?
“…however the large notches along the side offer no ability to be concerned with the action….” Man, you need an editor. Great watch. Wearing it for the first time today. Did you ever do an episode re Standard, Elabore, Top, and Chronometer? Might be a good idea.
Liked the look of it ... nice watch ... today I was binge watching all those vids which were ... “girlfriend reacts to...” type ... it was really fun 😂

Hello, I've damaged the bezel insert on my Laco Atlantik 39 RB I have contacted Laco to request a replacement, but unfortunately, they do not offer replacement parts. Laco has quoted me £185 for a bezel insert replacement. Would you happen to know the measurements for the bezel insert? I am hoping to find an alternative online.
Glad to see Laco embracing the tool aesthetic but they loose me in the details, I love the brushed finish and the use of orange lume for important minute details but that same lume looks terribly non-uniform in depth along the bezel. The bezel looks like they committed to the tool ethos but then no lug wholes which is a downer. Marathon embraced all things tool-watch for your previously reviewed search and rescue line and the result is an icon, this feels like a luke warm effort that just adds another pretty good watch to a saturated market class
Laco, you should upgrade the clasp. No matter how good is the watch if you see microbrand offer in the same price you get envy on their clasps. I know that Laco has good, quality but for 1.2k$ should clasp be better.
Nice review. I’m trying to choose between a Laco Mojave with the better Topgrade movement, and a Steinhart Ocean one 39 GMT Batman. I like the originality of the Laco, and the bezel really appeals to me, however the Steinhart looks a strong package and is differentiating itself slightly from the Rolex GMT, but is there a stigma that comes with it, as it’s close to a copy?
I've owned the Steinhart Ocean One GMT batman (in titanium) and now own this very Laco. In my humble opinion, the Laco is the winner between the two for the simple fact of having its own identity. Many people would compare the Steinhart to a Rolex however the Laco is unique and great bang for your buck. Just my .02
@@18bannersi agree with you. Steinhart have so much potential but this limit themselves to copy rolex. If they would design their own dial and stop using Rolex hand this brand would become very influential.

That orange pops! Looks nice
there is a 39 mm version now. A comparison would be a good idea.
I'm used to seeing the same-o same-o Laco Flieger stuff. This watch is VERY nice.
I'll have to give Laco another look.
Thank you for the review. I absolutely love Laco!

I had no idea of this watch. what a really cool color way! I love it... except for the size for me. Big wrist guys should run to buy this one
39mm out now

300m
Honestly all I can think of is Marathon, Mido, Tissot and Certina offering similar specs at or around that 1k price point.

good review, as always. do you think this watch is too big for a 16.5 cm (6.5") wrist? Cheers

I own this watch, my only complaint is that the lume is really lacking. My orient defender out preforms my Laco Mojave in that department.
This watch is beautiful, however, it too big for my 6.5 inch wrist size. I prefer a 36 mm watch and a thinner case. What do you have in my size?
Hi George, check out Marathon’s MSAR, it’s on the site!
I love this watch it’s my bumble bee xxx
Sweet piece!
This is a pretty cool watch.
nice looking watch, just divered out
