What you have heard is true! We thought our RV mattress would be fine when we started out...... But then we began having difficulty sleeping. Jim would wake up with his arms falling asleep, sore back and shoulders, it wasn't fun. I would toss and turn. The difference is amazing! - Michelle

We’ve had the same Airstream OEM mattress for 22 years. I still consider it the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on. The Heavenly Bed from Sheraton is a distant second. Cindy thinks it might be time to consider a new one but I don’t think so. We’ll see…

We have a 2023 airstream, and the queen bed was quite uncomfortable to sleep on! We slept on it one night and realized we needed a new bed. The funny thing is, is that in my daughter’s bunkhouse, her bed is so comfortable! We’ve all spent a couple nights on her bed and have loved it. Too bad we can’t. I’ll just fit on it 😜🤣 I’m not sure why they wouldn’t just have the same mattress in both areas. Oh well.
We did order through Brooklyn Bedding, but we’re on our third mattress and have not found them very comfortable. They’ve been a wonderful company to work with, and have even sent us a mattress topper, but I guess maybe we’re just picky sleepers. 🤪
We are now considering buying a memory foam topper to go on top of our mattress as we can’t keep losing $100 every time we send a mattress back. 😳😂

Or I was thinking - it could be the what our mattress is on. Maybe we need one of those slotted frames underneath the mattress……. We’ll get something figured out!

Yes! It is so comfortable! When we were filming the "unwrapping" (which Brooklyn Bedding asks that we show that in the video) I said "we are going to have to speed this up!" LOL. - Michelle

With a transverse RV-Queen in our 25FB, we would definitely need the rounded corners to allow easy walk around. We noticed that you had the rounded corners of your old mattress oriented to the top of the bed frame. Was this the result of needing to rotate the mattress? Unfortunately our OEM mattress also has a “tilted” shape at the head to fit the curving wall. I think our only option might be the online Airstream store; not quite sure. Fortunately, ours is very comfortable for now. Thanks for the review!
Wow, good noticing! Yes, we had turned our old mattress around so the rounded corners were at the head of the bed as an experiment to see if we could walk around the bed, make the bed, etc., with squared off corners on the foot end. Brooklyn Bedding does not make a mattress with the rounded, tapered corners unfortunately. After our experiment, we felt we could live with the squared corners and ordered the mattress. It sounds like you wouldn't be able to make that work. Glad to know yours is still comfortable! Ours was not. Thank you for really watching the video and giving us feed back.
