- So here's a separate video of our stay at Kingsdown Camping in Kent.
Situated near to Walmer (a good 2 mile walk) the location and views are perfect.
Kingsdown Camping has great clean facilities and hopefully this video will give you a good idea of what it's like.
There's two pubs within walking distance, so super handy for an evening meal and drink.
Definitely check website for how pricing works as is different mid week, weekend, low season etc

Car camping is almost essential for singles like me… it’s not easy to grab a bargain, and I find B&Bs quite noisy.
I go to one in Norwich every now and then, and I always cross fingers on having a good night’s sleep: not an issue in the car… I can’t remember the last time my sleep was disturbed more than once in the night.

@@zafiracamper yeah just not quite happy with my set up. I got it right in December but now since purchasing extra stuff need to take only what is required then everything per car camp 🤷🏾♀️

Well - I have a car camp and 22km run event next weekend and then the next couples car camp will be one of the Bank Holidays in May (not started to work out where for that one yet tho)

Looks a nice site and great views. The cost is an interesting thing. I'm a long time motorcycle/biker camper, rallies and touring on my own. I baulk at paying over £10 a night, this has unfortunately crept up to £15 per night in recent years. It's a funny thing that most sites charge for your mode of stay and/or person which can really add to the cost. I've not tried booking in anywhere as a car camper yet, expect it's just safe to say single person in a tent and have one with me just in case!
I’m soo out of touch with campsites I’m actually have no idea if this was a good or bad price.. but for one night for us as a couple was perfect and to be honest was a double bubble was low season as we almost had the site to ourselves 😇
Yeah I don’t get why some people have found sites don’t allow car camping - the only thing I can think of is that where would you park the car (May affect some sites??)
Prices have gone a bit silly but on the plus side I can tell the wife how much I am saving us by car camping when I am after a weekend pass to get away.
😂😝 defo a guaranteed way to get what I term “the wifey permission slip” 🤣
