      The visual beauty of this content is greatly contributed by producer Park. He often filmed on the 'Full Swing' team, and that was about three years ago. If there is a pretty screen in our channel videos, it is the work of producer Park.
      Badminton is not a very popular sport in Korea. So there are very few professional badminton video directors. Producer Park is probably the best in Korea.

    Thank you for video.
    1:12 change grip - am I right that coach “opened” his wrist and not really “changed” grip? The grip is still the same but the wrist is turned outwards so the palm is facing away from him. Is this correct / could you explain why? Thank you.

    • @full-swing
      @full-swing  2 года назад +3

      when you set ready posture, Amateurs usually use a 'half grip'. This is a mid-range grip method with a quick transition between forehand and backhand. It means switch to the smash grip when you pull your shoulders back.
      In fact, coach Han does not change the forehand and backhand grips. However, since this video is for amateurs, I emphasized the grip change part.

    • @alancmchan
      @alancmchan 2 года назад +2

      @@full-swing thanks, I see. So that was just saying to have your hand lower down the racket handle for the smash? Instead of ‘half grip’ meaning middle of the handle like front/mid court play?

    • @full-swing
      @full-swing  2 года назад +2

      The grip method that is comfortable for smashing is different for each person. You have to find a way that is comfortable for you.
      And when you push your shoulders back, switch to the perfect grip you want. That's the perfect moment.
      Smash is not necessarily at a disadvantage if you hold the racquet short. In fact, there are many players who are good at playing from the back with a short grip. (ex. Japan, Watanabe)

    TWO TYPE 스윙의 차이가 코치님 말씀하시는 땅겨의 차이인가요?

    • @full-swing
      @full-swing  2 года назад +3

      SBK님 맞으시죠? 댓글 작성 중에 사라져서 다시 씁니다 ㅎㅎㅎ
      결론을 먼저 말하자면, 둘다 올바른 스윙입니다.
      편한스윙, 강한스윙(상급자용)으로 구분해도 되겠네요.
      한코치님이 자주 말씀하시는 '당겨'는 라켓 헤드를 앞으로 보내주는 단계이므로, 임팩트 형태와 상관없이 필요한 동작입니다. (01:36 지점에 나옵니다.) 다만, 임팩트 처리는 달라질 수 있습니다. 프로선수들의 스윙을 보면, 팔로우 스루가 거의 없다시피합니다. 우리가 배우는 스윙대로 하면, 리턴의 속도를 감당할 수 없기 때문이죠. 그래서 임팩트 순간 악력과 전완근의 힘으로 라켓을 멈춰줍니다. 쉽게 말해 끊어치는 거죠.
      하지만 한코치는 이런 짧은 스윙보단 풀스윙으로 배우는 것을 권합니다. 스윙의 원리를 깨닫고, 몸의 근육이 만들어질때쯤엔 저절로 스윙이 짧게 줄어든다고 합니다.
      이용대 선수를 가르칠때도 예외없이 그랬다고 하시니까요.. 믿고, 풀스윙 해보시죠. ㅎㅎ
      이걸 보시면 도움이 될 겁니다 :-)

    • @full-swing
      @full-swing  2 года назад +4

      Beginner, Intermediate/Advanced
      Because the skill to stop the racket requires strong grip and perfect timing.
      As your skills improve, it will automatically change to a shorter and shorter swing. There is no need to deliberately practice with short swings.

      오해가 있으시군요...
      한국어와 영어를 모르는 사람도 모두 공평하게 볼 수 있는 영상이 제 최종 목표입니다. O와 X, 아라비아 숫자, 별점, 화살표, 강조표시 등으로 바꿔서 쓴 게 그 시도이지요. 그럼에도 제 기획과 상상력이 부족해서 부득이하게 자막의 도움을 받은 겁니다. 제가 그나마 쉬운 단어들로 골라쓴 것이긴 해도 영어, 한글을 모르는 분들은 조금 불편하실 거예요. 제가 완벽에 가까워 질수록 스펙트 리 님의 친구분들도 영상을 쉽게 감상하실 수 있지 않을까요.
      말이 나온 김에 좀 더 해보죠.
      영상콘텐츠는 저마다 다른 목표와 지향이 있겠지만, 가장 원초적인 기능은 '그림을 통한 이해'를 돕는 겁니다. 물론 제가 전공했던 교과서에서나 볼 수 있는 내용이지만, 정작 제가 다큐멘터리스트로 오래 일하면서도 어느 순간부터는 만들기 편한 영상만 제작하게 되더라고요. (인터뷰와 내레이션으로 모든 것을 설명하고자 하는 그런 제작이요..) 그래서 초심을 생각하면서 말과 글을 빼고자 했습니다. 제 의도를 전달하는 게 아니라, 시청자 스스로 생각하고, 판단을 내릴 수 있도록 말이죠
      앵글, 조명, 의상, 동작. 어느 1초도 버리지 않겠다는 마음으로 준비했습니다. 그래도 실력이 안 된다면 자막, 기호, 효과음, 내레이션의 도움을 받아야겠죠. 결과적으로는 절반은 실패했습니다. 자막이 좀 필요했어요. 도저히 정보 전달을 할 수 없어서요. 이번엔 성공하지 못했지만 앞으로는 이것마저 줄이도록 노력하겠다는 겁니다. 볼 수 있는 사람이라면 모두 공평하게 볼 수 있도록 말이죠.
      스웨덴에서는 장애에 대한 개념이 다르더라고요. (스웨덴 맞던가요? ㅎㅎ) 장애는 어느 한 사람이 갖고 있는 게 아니라, 환경에 따라 당하는 불편함이라고요. 거기선 외국인과 임산부를 장애인으로 본다고 합니다. 제가 아무리 좋은 말과 글을 쓴다 한들 한국어를 모르면 불편함을 감수해야 하잖아요. 해외시청자는 한코치의 말을 온전히 이해하고 소통하는 한국인들을 보면서 소외감을 느끼지 않았을까 싶기도 합니다. 한편으로 그들은 부족한 제 실력때문에 장애를 겪은 거죠. 스포츠 정신은 그런 게 아닌데...ㅎㅎㅎ
      '풀스윙'의 장기적 목표는 정해졌습니다. 말과 글이 다르더라도 온전히 이해할 수 있는 그런 영상들을 만들겁니다. 어떻습니까?

    Question:
    This full pronation for smash! Is this full pronation (including the finall turn of racket at end of swing which naturally going outwards ) the same for clears ? Or do we do less pronation at the end and keep racket straight at the end and let racket cross our body?

    • @full-swing

    Please sir can you explain full swing vs impact swing; you have showed two different swings and one is 2/5 power but other is 5/5 power, I cannot see the difference? 5/5 power one has more pronation at the impact hit?

    • @full-swing
      @full-swing  2 года назад

      That's a good question. Our channel name is 'Full Swing'. Do you know what that means? Coach Han recommends a full swing for amateurs. However, you can't make a full swing in the match of the advanced A-class. This is because A-class players return quickly. Then you should use your grip to shorten the swing.
      However, you do not need to study separate exercises and mechanisms for a 'short impact swing'. The full swing completed with numerous repetitions eventually evolves into an 'impact' swing. believe in yourself
      Don't rush, make your full swing perfect.
