@@FreddysGamingBenchmarks this video inspired me On the current Steam build this game only seems to work with GE-Proton8-25 not 32 32 will start but as I remembered no configuration of the attached controls and not even putting it in the dock and using a wired controller would get it to recognize (because the game doesn’t play nice with multiple inputs) so I downloaded every build of proton and just started going through them. The only one I could get to run the game AND recognize the Steam controller on a fully updated Steam Deck, is GE-Proton8-25
@@FreddysGamingBenchmarks Weirdly, 32 worked in the past for me but recently it stopped working with inputs, I thought it was my mods but even after making sure there was no trace left, it still wasn't working so I'm going to try 25 and hope it works because this game is a blast to play with 60 FPS anywhere

@@Spaceninjax Many unsupported games just work and for some you just need GE Proton to get them to work, but there are still some that still don't work
@@FreddysGamingBenchmarks I did a refund on Survivor like a month or so ago right after I got it because I couldn’t get it to run 😂 it was def before having this brought to my attention
excellent video I highly recommend it, it must be made clear that today it is NECESSARY to play it with GE-proton-32 since it does not work with another proton, it is also possible that the first time it does not work but try it one more time and I will surely works.
hello, for this you have to switch to desktop mode, then click on "discover" and then you have to search for "ProtonUp-Qt" and download it, then you can download the GE proton versions and use them :) I have to make another video about this at some point but it's very easy

@@abaddon74yes, I still have to buy it :) my credit wasn't enough that day because of Horizon and DD2 :) but I'll definitely test it :)
How do you know what proton to download for each game?
by trying them all until one works or not :D

Well, the video is still available with the 32 :D but I just looked again and now only the 25 works for me
