I know that the fps gets worse :) I show in the video that it is playable again because there were problems after update 1.2 and the game was no longer playable unfortunately

@@FreddysGamingBenchmarks it was using Proton ge 9-15 or 9-03 with some launch commands, so nothing really changed at all here except that it's still essentially unplayable if you want to do anything than free roam around open areas

I'm always very confused with the key assignments. I test too many games and they're all different :D so sometimes I forget where each key was :D

yes that's true :) but we're dealing with a steam deck here which has the performance of a PS4, so far it's OK :) I'm generally not a graphics fan, I'm very interested in the game in general, its implementation etc. graphics are always further down the must-have list for me

the next one maybe not directly but by the end of the year it should be running according to devs :) in the video the location is also very demanding, that was one of the first situations where I slipped below 30 fps even with ultra performance mode of fsr :(

With open limits and yes with locked fps it is much better.

I can understand that, I don't make best settings videos so everything could be better adjusted and I'm testing without limits, so if they limit the fps to 45 fps or something like that, the stuttering will be less :)

oh that's a decent number of hours :) I also think it's already pretty well optimized and I'm excited to see what happens in the future. I've never had any problems with memory lag when playing games because I switched to 3.6 from the beginning and then to OS 3.7 until now :)

I don't play it. I make benchmark videos when Steam OS or a game has updates. so that others can see how it works and then decide whether to buy it or not. I bought 2/3 of my games just to test it for others 😉

it will have at least twice the performance so you don't have to worry about that :)

Bc UE5 is an awful engine, we can make our games look realistic but have the worst performance ever

well with the update to 1.0 the performance has definitely improved :/ I don't think it will get any worse, but it's not perfect, that's true

Yes, I played it through on the deck, I thought it was ok. It's rare to have 20 fps and especially later the game runs a little more stable than at the beginning

Yes, you don't always have to adjust something 😅 but you don't need things like motion blur etc

These are the reasons why I jump on RUclips. I have been piping this game through DX11, but since the new patch, I'm going to see if it can keep 20-30 fps with HDR.

because the game already has a good basic performance, sure I can test with fsr next time but I don't see any compelling reason to use it :)

I just find it weird for me….im able to load in the game and into the main menu pick the server that my character was in and when I enter game it goes black but I can hear the music in the background of the game playing….

They had a hotfix, maybe it has something to do with that, try ge proton 9-15, maybe that will work

@@FreddysGamingBenchmarks not tsr! in dx12 mode there is "dynamic resoultion" option, in my opinion it gives the best results
