This game is absolutely amazing, my first Dragon Quest game and what a delight it is. The beginning is slow as per usual in JRPGS but this game does have a few very interesting twists and turns, im 50 hours in and i still feel a long looong way from the ending of this game. The attention to detail is one of the things that amazes me the most, be it from someone cooking food and the food actually moves when they swirl the frying pan to the copious amounts of diffrent death animations for the monsters in the world, among other things. A definite recommendation.
SunsetAmethyst I love seeing people get into Dragon Quest for the first time. It is a series that focuses on story telling. And DQ11 is just beautiful on top of that...
The gameplay and storytelling continues to open up the deeper you get into it. I've been waiting for an JRPG to grab me like FFX or Radiata Stories did as a kid. This one did it
Yeah it's seriously the best JRPG of this generation, no doubt, I played DQVIII but this game is way better IMO, DQVIII would have been much better if the monsters were in the overworld and not just random battles. Plus the forging in this game is very easy and entertaining, the only thing I really miss from DQVIII is the monster collecting.
Just finish the main game with 80 hours and havent start the post game. The post game content is amazing bcs it got storyline in it. I think this is the first game post game content actually contain storyline.
DQ8 had a similar postgame play/storyline, although I don't think it was nearly as long as the one in DQ11 (I just started that game and havn't gotten to it yet).
Ha, ha, that's actually kind of funny. Back in the 90's I think it was, they had to pass a law in Japan stating that video games couldn't be released on Mondays, or something like that. I heard it had to do with...Dragon Quest 3 I think....or maybe it was Dragon Quest 5. Basically, so many people skipped work to pick up the game which launched on a Monday and it was a problem. At any rate, I'm sure the creators are flattered beyond any awards they could be given. But yeah, Dragon Quest games are always fantastic rpgs in my opinion.
I really enjoyed the battles being elective rather than random. I still fought just as many battles but every once in a while I just wanted to move thru the environment quickly. It was nice to have the option.
If you haven’t played dq xi yet you are missing so much. This is a game that will make you smile just by he animations of an enemy, honestly I can’t get enough of this game.
@@smokegames1179 no it's not literally it's not , this isn't an opinion .. this isn't an intense game , the graphics are not going to look miles better on PC and the switch version includes everything and more .
Just finished the main game, now going into the post game. So of course RUclips has been sending DQXI content my way these past couple of weeks. Gotta say this video is as whimsical as the game. The writing is fantastic, and the narrator is soothing. Really great stuff. Thanks for making it, I enjoyed it plenty.
first off. Great review! you covered a lot of elements in a short video. I am a DQ veteran. DQ1 (or dragon warrior) was one of my first games on the NES. This new game is really great. the Toriyama drawings are fully actualized and the personality of a dragon quest game is absolutely stunning in a full 3D environment. the characters really pop. love it. can't wait to get this game!
Kai and Michelles story hit me today on a pretty deep level. First time ive cried over a game in a long time. Im a grown ass man, sad over a mermaid. This game is fantastic. Fan-Flipping-tastic. One of the best ive played, and ive played a TON of RPGs since Dragon warrior 1, a majority of the FF up to 12. All my life ive been playing these games and this one just hits all the right marks. Already planning my second playthrough and im only 40 hours in!
That was the only time I think the game really hit on the emotional level they achieved with VIII. The other story concerning a previous part of the story I thought was forced and didn't have the impact that anything on VIII did.
I have 110hrs racked up and I STILL haven't beaten the game yet but, I think I am nearing the end though. The battle system is so much fun and I don't get tired of leveling and fighting monsters. as a result for almost every battle my team has been overleveled. I am not playing with hard mode enabled so it's just very relaxing, the music, the story, everything... So many times the game has pulled on my heart strings.. it's a brilliantly done.
I learned yesterday that my first RPG was Dragon Quest... well Dragon Warrior on NES. I didn't know the series had changed its name. I'm now on a quest to... get caught up on Dragon Quest!!!! Wish me well in my journey! Also, recommendations are very welcome. ^_^
Dragon quest 8 is a must... I also started with dragon warrior 1-3, and final fantasy 1-4. But I really liked DQ VIII, try to Chrono trigger too it's not the same games, but it has the same style of rpg and it's highly good story!
Got this as a Christmas gift. One of the best gifts that I've ever received. Grew up on Dragon Warrior and Final Fantasy games in the late 80s and early 90s. Nostalgia and pure enjoyment is what this game truly is for me. As a table top D&D player and old school console gamer of yesterday, Dragon Warrior (Quest in Japan) was my jam. So happy that they took their time and released this properly instead of the money grabs like Fallout 76 and Star Wars Battlefront. I got burned on both of those games. Great review and is the staycation I was looking forward to.
Note to my fellow JRPG enthusiast - if you're considering if you should purchase between the PC or the Switch version, do yourself a favor and get the one on the Switch if you have the option. yw :D
Got this game on Switch instead of PC, but still highly recommend it. Especially when the steam deck comes out, this game and others like it will shine.
I'm really happy I picked up Dragon Quest Heroes on a whim a couple years ago, because it introduced me to the universe of Dragon Quest, I instantly fell in love with it's light hearted artistic style and its very cartoonish monster designs. The music and characters were memorable and awesome. Because I bought Heroes, I bought Builders upon it's release and absolutely loved it. I then again, bought Dragon Quest Heroes 2. I'll now be playing this soon and I cannot express how excited I am. I've really grown a huge fondness to these games, I only wish I had tried them long ago.
matsujonen can you please explain why? I don't really know what you mean and would love if you explain it. Or don't if you don't have the time or don't want to do it xD
I loved feeling rewarded for paying attention, I make sure I talk to everyone I can, and take in the scenery, whenever I tackle a side quest and they want me to go to someone or somewhere, I already know what they are talking about, and I can just go like "Oh yeah I can do that no problem" where as with bigger bloatier open worlds people often refer to things in quests that I haven't seen or am not aware of, and I just accept it, and run around for a bit can't find it and either give up, or look up where I have to go if there's no quest pointer, but with Dragon Quest I wouldn't even need one and I love it
Modern JRPG have been really bad in recent times, but DQXI is the exception to that rule. It's a high quality JRPG, would recommend it to anyone looking for that kind of experience.
this is an absolute gem of a game i just love it im only bout 20 hours in but its been a great ride so far and the story although not very original is executed perfectly. its about time we had a proper rpg that is turn based and made by aaa studio with production values to match btw i spent at least 5 of those hours in the casino lol last time i had a game i enjoyed this much was lost odyssey and i have to say this tops it.
As great as the game is, the review is even better. Clear, concise, intelligible, and enthusiastic. The absence of background death metal or techno music is also much appreciated. I wish she would do every single game review on RUclips.
To be honest, this review was so good at presenting the greatest strenghts of this game... I could only wish the *marketing* of that game was as good at selling the game than this review is at presenting it.
Your writing, the flow of the sentences, the jokes, the metaphors. It was all delightful. I'll be checking more of the channel's content out to see if some of this style can't rub off on my own work :D
Dragon Quest 11 does something that few games actually do well; It introduces new and exciting mechanics, such as crafting items and riding monsters, while still keeping the original formula and not messing with what makes the Dragon Quest series so damn grand in the first place. One of many, many, many, MANY reasons why this game is so absolutely stellar. EDIT: Bonus points for mentioning Persona, my OTHER other favourite JRPG series.
Mhm, compared to something like Pokemon Sword and Shield that is removing all the good stuff and not adding anything interesting, DQ always feels fresh.
@@Rhythmicons couldnt get into it as much. Im sure if it was 2006 again and I played it then Id feel the same but its not as easy to get into now. Still good and engaging, but I find this more accessible
DQXI isn't a radical departure from VIII but I was referring to the quality of the storylines and their emotional content. DQ XI can have all of this decade's most modern features and minigames abound, but VIII was not only a more difficult game, it was a much more compelling universe.
Its one of the best ever. Takes me right back to Dragon Quest 8, which I also loved, but is different. I'm on my second play through, and I'm enjoying it just as much!!! Hopefully They'll think of an expansion, because this is a master piece that I want to continue.
I never played a DragonQuest game in my life and I love JRPG's. I got this on a whim today and fell its greatness after 1hr of play. I regret not giving this series more of my time
i think this game is very fun and exciting. the story is very rich and each character has their role. the landscapes are absolutely breathtakingly beautiful. i am playing without the handicaps. i just want to play without struggling for now. I'm also youtubing my play through because i want to save all the movie scenes. i've never really played dragon quest before with the exception of dragon quest heroes 1 and 2. and those games gave me the taste of the dragon quest world. so i bought dragon quest xi.
Slow going, but surely and steadily it builds up very well as the story progresses, and as you play through the latter half it gradually makes you realize it was worth it all along. It gets really good. That sure-footedness, patience, and the craft that's gone into it is such a rare thing in today's gaming. I like how it streads the thin line between the old and new, I think it's the last of its kind in the big budget category. When this series is gone, this category of craft is forever gone from gaming. Long live DQ!
I have been playing for only a couple of hours, but so far it has been incredible. The visuals are astonishingly beautiful, animations (including the hair!) are superfluid and the fun factor is ... well ... great! Best game I have played so far.
Also, randomly, another thing I love of this review: The reviewer not only does a perfect job of reviewing this game but didn't even go out of her way to show her own "Dragon Quest creds" as I just saw another review do; she does a perfect job of showing why this game can be enjoyed by everyone and not just the diehard fans of the franchise.
I fell in love with JRPGs from the trails in the sky series, followed by Trails of cold steel, all on PC. Needless to say I've only recently truly discovered the JRPG genre (I mean outside of Zelda, and FF series from childhood) and I can't get enough of it in the modern era of it. This game was everything I could have hoped for!
I know man, I've recommended it a lot but.. it's a hard sell around here in the west. Outside of the Zelda and FF games, it's just not a huge genre over here. I loved trails in the sky but.. I'm a minority in that I enjoyed trails of cold steel more. I can't even pinpoint why or how.. the characters were all awesome (except Machias, he gets less intolerable if you do his bonding events but otherwise...I kept him around in my party bc his Burst Drive was just too good), and I loved Rean. I don't know why! He's nothing special, in fact he's a supremely great example of a stock anime hero. I don't care, I named my Dragon quest 11 hero Rean! Why did I do that?! I might as well named him Link, or, My Dude. Anyway, yea, trails of cold steel is what truly solidified my obsession with JRPGs. It's a freaking masterpiece, and I get genuinely sad when I think about how long we still have to wait for cold steel 3, let alone 4! I've actually considered learning Japanese just to play those games ha
Your video was quite enlightening and enjoyable. I've only made it to the first town, about 4 hours into the game. It's been such a treat and I'm so glad they put it out in steam since I don't own a PS4.
Played and 100 % on hard monsters on ps4.What a great game, love the series and they really went all-out with this one.As a player who has been around since the first installment, I love how these games have evolved, while never losing the core mechanics.
In 9 I remember characters got stronger from tension. When tension was pushed to the limit you got a purple aura with purple spiky hair. Those were fine times.
I could listen to you all day. Subbed and liked and notified. I can't place your accent, british or australian I think? You can be a voice actress, in a play. Suits you I think.
Such a refreshing and laidback review with just the right amount of humor. Never played a Dragon Quest game besides a little dip into VIII, that didn't last very long, but I will give this one a shot
dont know why but it has a certain charm about it that maybe zelda did well may be twilight princess anyway,it does hold allot of the same charm as that game,to be honest i am an alcoholic and this game helped me slow down my drinking problem,i just needed transporting somewhere else and this game ticks that box,for anyone wanting a heart warming adventure that holds a candle to the zelda series, you need this game in your life.
i've finished dq1,5, and 8. i'm currently 30hrs into this one and it is such a delightful experience! this game makes me smile a lot! also made me shed tears with the mermaid story.
this series needs all the support it can get i really dont want the next games to be japan exclusive ive waited so long, since dragon quest journey of the cursed king on ps2 this series hasn't brought a solid game to the west.
Great video, RPS has really stepped up its game when it comes to RUclips recently. They made the right decision hiring you, Noa 👍 I want to play DQXI now, but I'm still a bit put off by the music. Suppose I can just turn it down...
The music is not really all that intolerable. Now the overworld music bah bah bum, ba-dum bah-dum bad-dum bah-dum bah- dum...boo bee doo, bah dum bah dum bad dum bah-dum……..I hear in my nightmares hah. But whether or not it's orchestrated or a MIDI file isn't the issue I thought it was going to be.
If you have an emulater, try 9 for second, its a starter friendly game, and if you are intersted of the story line of the origin of the series, play, 312, and 456 that's about it hehe
I've been a Dragon Quest fan since the beginning. When it was called Dragon Warrior and I'm telling you this is one of the best Dragon Quest game I've ever played I love it it's so cute too.
Just earned my platinum trophy for the game yesterday. I loved every minute of it, it really brought me back to the PS2 era of ridiculously long and well-developed rpgs (:
Been playing Dragon Quest since III on the NES and have physical copies of 1-9 for NES, DS, 3DS respectively. Needless to say, this is a day one purchase on the Switch as my poor old PC can’t handle this game. A great review and I can’t wait to explore the world (beyond the demo’s end in Hotto) this Friday. Who knew there was horse racing and other goodies glossed over in this review.
If you like RPGs definitely worth. The only two things you can really criticize are a generic story and the music. Game-play, UI and menus are the best in the series. There are options everywhere and nothing is permanent unlike in previous games so if you want to change or build you can without feeling like you screwed up. Likable cast, varied game-play and strategy options, and a wealth of content make the game more than worth it.
Played every DQ except 10. 30 hours into 11 and it's becoming my favorite one on the series. Yes, the orchestral score in 8 is better BUT I still play the NES games and love the chiptunes, so it doesn't bother me, especially since the compositions are consistently good throughout the series.
Recently completed DQ11 on the Switch, and it was by far one of the best games I’ve ever played. You can play with harder monsters, or not. You can buy gear, or you can craft it. Switch is the definite place to play it, if you don’t mind not shooting the crossbow at targets in the overworld. You get more story content!
This was a very well-written video. One note: near the end, you say it's set in an open-world, but the game is not at all set in an open-world. It's a very linear world instead, in fact. If we call this one open world, we might as well call every game the same.
Playing on pc and my eyes almost melted and my jaw hit the floor. The visuals alone make the game worth it. The detail in the textures really pop adding immensely to the immersion. It’s like being swallowed up, I’ll start playing and the next thing I know 5 hours have gone by.
300 hrs in; I think you hit the appeal of this game DIRECTLY ON THE HEAD...it’s pleasant and relaxing...the fact that you don’t have to worry about running off cliffs and fall damage, are a delightful change of pace; the game is less about CHALLENGE, more about FUN...plus COSTUMES...!!
What i love about this game is that it is pretty easy but always stays fun. Im getting older these days and would love to play games like dark souls but they are way to fast for me but in dq11 i can just chill all night without any stress :).
As she mentioned the small details in this game are what makes the game amazing. I was so upset in the beginning of the game you had that side quest to help a guy find his friends fluffy feather. Then a little into the game when the soldiers destroy the town you go back to the ashes and rubble to find a fluffy feather on the floor. I was sooo sad
100 hours into the game,No microtransaction, the post game is huge with story, basicly just like a free DLC, true JRPG experience.

But if you want it to feel like an 11/10, just Finish Final Fantasy 15 first, then play it right after.
This made me laugh. A LOT.
Alternatively if you want it to feel like an 11/10, play the Switch version.
@@Laihoard1995 no
@@Rohgamu you clearly miss something tho
@@Laihoard1995 yeah .....I really want to choose other partner than Gemma, (Veronica not because she's a loli but her character, really hope she can be big again after they become partner but no), maybe I'll buy switch later
ChrisDSX ^ this 100%
I recommend playing dragon quest viii it is my favorite of the series.
Gonna be my first too, well Dragon QueSt Builders 2 dragged me in!
playing it on mt pc graphics is amazing better than ff15 imo
An absolutely spot-on, vivacious and tantalizing intro video to hook new players. Great opinions and inspirational commentary. Thanks
The gameplay and storytelling continues to open up the deeper you get into it. I've been waiting for an JRPG to grab me like FFX or Radiata Stories did as a kid. This one did it
i dont even remember the last jrpg that hooked me like this one
The remake of DQ4 also has post storyline.
Wow that's great to hear! I'm only 30 hours in and absolutely love it. They deserve awards for this game...GOTY?
Ha, ha, that's actually kind of funny. Back in the 90's I think it was, they had to pass a law in Japan stating that video games couldn't be released on Mondays, or something like that. I heard it had to do with...Dragon Quest 3 I think....or maybe it was Dragon Quest 5. Basically, so many people skipped work to pick up the game which launched on a Monday and it was a problem.
At any rate, I'm sure the creators are flattered beyond any awards they could be given. But yeah, Dragon Quest games are always fantastic rpgs in my opinion.
Just wait till you see the ending, you’ll love it if you played any of the previous DQ’s
I saw two crabs greeting eachother on Costa Valor xD
"Dont wanna leave the house?" More like can't. Muwahaha 2020 what a year.
Indeed, I'm close to 100 hours on DQ XI, mostly because of me working at home
whoever this is narrating
i love her personality, sense of humor and how she clearly she speaks
That's the British for ya mate
great review. you should review more games.
At this point I'm just going to wait for XI S on Switch
They even added the original orchestral score into that version as the default ost
Cant wait to play it in 2D
pc still is the best version
they also added new chapters for each character and more post game content on the switch
@@smokegames1179 no it's not literally it's not , this isn't an opinion .. this isn't an intense game , the graphics are not going to look miles better on PC and the switch version includes everything and more .
Please buy it on Switch!!!!!! It’s so beautiful I’m loving it! The graphics hold pretty good on the Switch 😭💜

Dam she has one of the best narrating voices. I could hear her for hours 😊. Were has she been all my life 😥
Sadly no longer on the channel. Noa left the team at the end of 2018. We love her videos though. Such a good, calming voice!
Its nice to know dq is finally getting some recognition outside of Japan
This is my first dq game ,and it's pretty good .
Latrell Spencer wait till you play dq5, 6, and 8 oh boy
@@hector2811 ALL OF EM' ARE GOOD AF
Play also 9 its great. My first dq game
"Look at him in his little beard" took me out love it. But I felt all of these points in my soul, I'm very impressed with the game.
It's the best game I've played this year and definitely going into my top 5 JRPGs
Oh my god, can she please narrate all the reviews? She has such a lovely relaxing tone!
Sadly Noa left the team in 2018. Glad you like her review though!
I can’t wait for XI S on Switch this Friday!!!!!
3:16 HIS PRICES ARE GOOD???!??
Yeah, for him...
This is my first time playing a big JRPG, this game has me hooked like no game has for the past decade.
My wife stopped beating me after I beat the demo
I beat the main story at 180 hours 😅 such a good game!
Actually it was always dragon quest, apparently they changed the name to warrior when they localized the game in English.
Note to my fellow JRPG enthusiast - if you're considering if you should purchase between the PC or the Switch version, do yourself a favor and get the one on the Switch if you have the option. yw :D
I will tomorrow! Thank you!
@@VilodWacholderbeerenmet Have fun!
I've really grown a huge fondness to these games, I only wish I had tried them long ago.
puff puff lol
What I've noticed is that dragon quest is one of the few that doesn't demonize religion.
True, although it doesn't push it in your face either. it's just there.
matsujonen God was the final boss in Dragon Quest 7
matsujonen can you please explain why? I don't really know what you mean and would love if you explain it. Or don't if you don't have the time or don't want to do it xD
so true. religion being evil is prolly one of the biggest video game cliche there are
@Doppelganger D well christianity has done some absolutly horrible things
I loved feeling rewarded for paying attention, I make sure I talk to everyone I can, and take in the scenery, whenever I tackle a side quest and they want me to go to someone or somewhere, I already know what they are talking about, and I can just go like "Oh yeah I can do that no problem" where as with bigger bloatier open worlds people often refer to things in quests that I haven't seen or am not aware of, and I just accept it, and run around for a bit can't find it and either give up, or look up where I have to go if there's no quest pointer, but with Dragon Quest I wouldn't even need one and I love it
veronica wins again
Easy Peezy!
Jade FTW
Tyler Conner best line in the whole game hahah
Another one bites the dust.
Just got her in my party and she’s a damn beast
Modern JRPG have been really bad in recent times, but DQXI is the exception to that rule. It's a high quality JRPG, would recommend it to anyone looking for that kind of experience.
this is an absolute gem of a game i just love it im only bout 20 hours in but its been a great ride so far and the story although not very original is executed perfectly. its about time we had a proper rpg that is turn based and made by aaa studio with production values to match btw i spent at least 5 of those hours in the casino lol last time i had a game i enjoyed this much was lost odyssey and i have to say this tops it.
Review was really good! Fitting for an amazing game, as well. The humor was very well executed, too!
Its one of the best games ever made period.
40 hours in I still think VIII was their magnum opus.
DQ XI can have all of this decade's most modern features and minigames abound, but VIII was not only a more difficult game, it was a much more compelling universe.
its pretty much final fantasy and zelda's love child.
Think most people think 9 was the best from what I see lol I will play them all
Its one of the best ever. Takes me right back to Dragon Quest 8, which I also loved, but is different. I'm on my second play through, and I'm enjoying it just as much!!! Hopefully They'll think of an expansion, because this is a master piece that I want to continue.
First dragon quest game for me since the orginal Dragon Warrior on nes. I have really been enjoying it.
Togashi is never going to finish HxH with these DQ games coming out 😪😂
I never played a DragonQuest game in my life and I love JRPG's.
You should play DQ VIII on ps2. Its also a masterpiece :)
I liked your review
I like the way you talk
You obtained a like and a sub
keep the good work
I have been playing for only a couple of hours, but so far it has been incredible. The visuals are astonishingly beautiful, animations (including the hair!) are superfluid and the fun factor is ... well ... great! Best game I have played so far.
Seriously love the personality put into this review. Never stop being you!
I haven't play DQ series ever but I saw how you review this game with so much passion,it make me want to play it,thank you!
Im subbing you :)
Is it different on the Switch? Because I want it on there, and this review makes it seem pretty good.
Great review. It is on my list for Switch. Some of the language you use reminds me of playing Breath of the Wild. Really looking forward to this one.
60 plus hours in, first dragon quest game and I absolutely love it. Makes me want to play through them all.
D Will I can’t recommend Trails of Cold Steel to people enough. No game has ever made me care about characters or the plot as much as that game has.
I live in the Bahamas and still stay inside playing this XD
This video just made me want to buy it when it comes out on Switch later this year
In 9 I remember characters got stronger from tension.
This game is insanely good, I had been waiting for something like this to come, and it's finally here.
It just went to my top 10 list after 40 hours.
i've finished dq1,5, and 8. i'm currently 30hrs into this one and it is such a delightful experience! this game makes me smile a lot! also made me shed tears with the mermaid story.
If they gave you the option in new Final fantasy games of old style ''turn based combat'' i'd probably buy them all.
this series needs all the support it can get i really dont want the next games to be japan exclusive ive waited so long, since dragon quest journey of the cursed king on ps2 this series hasn't brought a solid game to the west.
Great video, RPS has really stepped up its game when it comes to RUclips recently. They made the right decision hiring you, Noa 👍
I want to play DQXI now, but I'm still a bit put off by the music. Suppose I can just turn it down...
I thought the same about music at first, but you'll soon forget it as it blends in nicely. I ended up liking it.
If u get it on PC, there's people working on a mod to fix the music
The music is not really all that intolerable. Now the overworld music bah bah bum, ba-dum bah-dum bad-dum bah-dum bah- dum...boo bee doo, bah dum bah dum bad dum bah-dum……..I hear in my nightmares hah. But whether or not it's orchestrated or a MIDI file isn't the issue I thought it was going to be.
most of it is in other dragon quest games and to me its really nostalgic
Never enjoyed JRPGs before but I am tempted by this one...thx . Great vid
Carpe Mkarzi it’s a good one to start with 👍
If you have an emulater, try 9 for second, its a starter friendly game, and if you are intersted of the story line of the origin of the series, play, 312, and 456 that's about it hehe
Try persona 5 too. It was my first jrpg.
never enjoyed jrpgs? have you not played chrono trigger? suikoden 2? FF6? How can anyone even claim to be an rpg fan without enjoying those? :/
I've been a Dragon Quest fan since the beginning. When it was called Dragon Warrior and I'm telling you this is one of the best Dragon Quest game I've ever played I love it it's so cute too.
if you play this on pc, the orchestral mod for the ingame music is a MUST.
Just earned my platinum trophy for the game yesterday. I loved every minute of it, it really brought me back to the PS2 era of ridiculously long and well-developed rpgs (:
I'm 35 hours in and I keep stopping to marvel at how beautiful each new area is.
Isn't the story better in VIII though? (40+ hours here).
This was a pretty good review type thing. You've earned a new subscriber 👍
You've completely won my heart over just mentioning Utawarerumono.
Just got this game 2 days ago and really enjoying it. A somewhat more relaxed game than many. Nice review.
I'm really enjoying my playthrough.
Great video, I was already interested in this game, but now you have lighten a fire inside me that will not go out for a long time.
I like the subtlety of the game's subtitle - Echoes of an Elusive Age ... the age when DQ8 and before were new.
This is on PSN sale right now 40% off through Christmas. Just FYI! Merry Christmas to all!
