Your videos are great. I never thought I could play "Normal" but thanks to you I can. The only thing is sometimes you have some small errors; like the "very nice chord that Steven Wilson plays" is not 9,9,8 ... it's 10,10,9. It drove me nuts why yours sounded so good and mine sounded so lousy :-). Fortunately, we have the video tape, and we can count. A million thanks - your tutorials are perfect for me.
first time trying to learn a song online; this video is so easy to follow, and it's so easy to tell how to play the different modulations and stuff steven does during the song just from the way you play it. very faithful and comprehensive but also easy to understand. thanks a ton :)
Hey Man, i am learning guitar since 4 month and this was the first I achieved to learn on a single evening today. Shout out to your great tutorial. And I love that you sing and still feel the song when you tech it. Take care!
Brilliant video - thanks for the tutorial. More than the chords, you really helped me figure out the strumming pattern. Will be checking out your other stuff :)
Really cool :) But I still can't get the strumming pattern for lindemann - knebel right, could you add that to your video in the comments or something..? I seem not to be the only one, as you can see in the comments^^ Best / keep it up!
Can I ask if you just taught yourself these porcupine tree songs or is there any sources I could look up. I really want to learn some of the older songs from Sunday of life and up the downstair and staircase infinity albums
Great tune. During the chorus instead of A to Am, I like to play A to Am7 (x02010). I also like to add the G in the bass during the C/Cmaj7. Sounds more full to me.
Hi everyone! I have a channel for my own music. In December I will upload my first album there. If you're interested you can find it here: ruclips.net/video/jzSDTp0yrGY/видео.html

Nice tutorial! Any hints on the strumming pattern?
Thanks! I never really cared about strumming patterns. i would recommend to play the song super slow and sing to it and then increase the speed.
How do i do the banjo part in the original recording with capo on 5th fret?

Ultimate Guitar is correct sometimes but mostly I learn it by ear.
2:37 😆
Was an "anyway" yeah.
