PufnStuf could be imitating Liberace whom is imitating Elton John. This is more likely the scenario taking place in this performance. ☝️😮

There's a possibility that the performer actually *IS* Elton John. This song was recycled from an attraction at the Kroffts' ill-fated theme park. As they're showing a rock-star puppet show in the 1976 documentary "Magic in Midtown," the host remarks, "by the way, all the voices are real." No sooner does he get those words out and it cuts to the Elton John marionette performing this number. The video is available to view on the University of Georgia's site, and the scene is just under the 12-minute mark.

I appreciate the added info and context. To my ear though, that sounds a bit like Elton, but isn't the real Elton. Perhaps we'll never know. ;)

@@BionicDisco Was it Lennie, H.R’s VA? I don’t know if he actually sang as him in that “Living Island” song or this, but if it’s all him, it would be pretty impressive! 😊
Also, someone needs to animate this. XD

@@princesspeachfan100 It doesn't sound like him to me. The voice sounds younger. Maybe a session singer. =)

@@BionicDisco Probably, I kinda figured. XD (Remember when Puff sang in that deep beautiful Mighty Mouse like voice in the “Living Island” song? I thought Lennie was probably dubbed there too, but I’m not entirely sure as the singers for that aren’t credited anywhere… If that was Lennie singing as him for that that would be really impressive, but I’m 90% sure he was dubbed for that too. XD
I know for sure he sang as him at the Hollywood Bowl (the show is on here), unfortunately I think this is the only time (from what I can find), where Lennie actually sang as him outside the show. XD
