@@henrystickmin8812 Ffs dude, i just dug out a lava channel to my mid map base, took me 4 hours..... And now i see you can just go get a bucket and transport water and lava.... FML :D Thanks for info tho
Fun Fact, if you let it fill in some of the big chasms, for example where the wall used to be, it'll actually lag out your game for a bit until it settles.
Yeah I did this with my world after the recent update, thought the brighter water from the sunken sea area to help illuminate the world would be a good idea... maybe not the best idea and probably why my game crashed a few times randomly. But it looked cool having the rings of light blue around the map.
omg! THANKS, i has think right now ''why my lake is so ugly'' but now i can take the Azeos water thanks. Ah and one tip, use the sand for chance de water it is more easy to break ;)
Soo Seroh, after months of playing now, can u give me a list where which type of water is and what type u can bring back to your home base at the core and actually cacth the fishes from the other biome/water
Thanks for this video. I looked online for answers last week and couldn't find any! I had the same idea. With the water from the wilderness... Can you place grass blocks around the outside of the water to trick it into thinking it's in the correct biome?
@@Serroh that's a shame. Have you tried it with grass blocks as it enters the new biome? Regardless, thanks for the info. Definitely the best core keeper youtuber I've come across so far!
@@CatharticSense If you fish in the wilderness, it works but I was trying to bring the water to the core which just makes it dirt biome water. Dirt, wilderness and stone biome water are biome specific.
@@kardiax5507 With the newest update in the game you can mix the biomes together and the water is mixed as well. You can pull any fish from the beginning biomes in the same water. Not sure about the biomes beyond the wall. Haven’t gotten there yet. And luckily there are buckets so we don’t have to transfer the water the long way.
That’s actually really good idea. Shame about the other biomes. I wonder if you surround the water with the biome floor blocks I.E. stone floor around a pool would it change? Like in terraria you can create artificial biomes using 50 of that biomes blocks
I guess the acid water is just for looks? If I remember correctly, you can still catch the blistering green / yellow, devil and vampire eel as long you're in that said biome. There is no need to fish in the acid water.
@@Elderpriest1 You can get those fish/items in normal water, in their respective biome, but you need the acid water if you want to catch them back at your base near the core.
For everyone recommending buckets... I disagree. Making massive tunnels to let the water flow is much more balanced and rewarding then 1 right click to pick up water and one right click to place it where ever you want. I'd recommend something more like pumps from terraria, you place one pump, power it, then connect it with pipes and it will instantly transmit the water to the end of the pipe.
Yeah, one hour of prep vs hours of traversing biome to biome every single time you need a new fish and then adding the 20+ hours of level grinding, I'm definitely just making a coi pond and feeding on easy street thanks to this video lol thanks serroh 🍻❤️

They need to add a bucket to move liquids around so you can do fish farming in your base, surprised they didn't do that with the recent update.
Well they did add it, and im glad they did because digging out a line just to bring some water back to your base sounds very annoying

Really wish we could use the buckets to remove/place water blocks like you can do in minecraft. would make this whole thing a bit less painful!
I agree, maybe a future update
should go post a suggestion! I dont minecraft, so I didnt even know about that.
That'd make it too easy imo
And a pump/drain for in case you accidentally fill a chasm.
Loved how you set up your fishing farm and the way you decorated this space. Keep it up!

you shouldve used sand floor to block up the mold water, i think its only 1 swing to mine it rather than dirt floor taking 3 swings
I did but the water sometimes leaks through it. Didn’t want to risk it
Question how do you get the water to cross over the canyons?

Does this still work in 0.3.13?
EDIT: Just tried and acid and mold water still works. Tried moving Azeos and Forgotten area waters and no go.
How does the azeos not work? Or you just don't get fish from it?

Yo Serroh, have you done a base walk-through yet? Im mad curious as to what your base looks like now.
Not yet, it’s not as pretty as most but it definitely gets the job done haha
@@Serroh I can't believe that actually. From bits of your base I've seen it looks pretty amazing. Will be looking forward to the eventual vid man.

yea this would be great.
It wouldnt
If you make carrox or puffungi farms you would literally turn your whole base into a mold dungeon

currently you can't, I did testing before making this.

:D
Good game, but too much grind for me... like cooking/fishing skill leveling...
Hopefully they'll adjust it with future updates
Bro u know u could of just dug the mod ground up place it by some water and let it spawn monster and turn that in to mod water right lol
You sure? I have lots of mold ground with monsters in my base, they’ve never turned the water moldy
This is false. Mobs spawn and the water does not convert to mold water. Maybe you're using a MOD for this.

buckets make more sense, also terraria has buckets as well
I didnt get the notification. Sad
You know you can just transport the water in a watering can instead.
lol
you can take the water but not fill anything with it.

a life hack that would waste you majority of your fishing time to build...
