Guys, I see some misunderstanding in the comments. This song and video it's not official from MLP! This is fanmade made by DuoCartoonist and the music it's from Hocus Pocus.
I don't know how I never noticed this but like there's the homeless child, and the orphanage children, and a bunch of generally scrappy looking ones but the animator also included a child from a seemingly perfect home from what little we see. I actually appreciate that because it's not always obvious that a child is abused, neglected, or abandoned. Sometimes that have everything but love and that's still trauma, that's still harm. I love how much thought was out into this
I saw this back when I was around 11 or 12 and now at 19 I'm still trying to decide if Luna was taking the children to a sort of paradise away from their horrible lives, or if it's some kind of metaphor for sleeping and finding joy in dreams when your daily life is difficult.
For those who had homes and/or complicated childhoods in any way, this video and our dear princess was simply a pillar, something to hold on to and be happy about. And look, I dreamed every day waiting for her to come to my window and take me to the garden, to be part of the children of the night. Live such a lovely life with first mother figure, would definitely be a dream come true
In this video, Luna's voice is so beautiful when she was singing. But when she sings "Here in my garden of shadows." I Sing that too. It's so beautiful when this happens.
I saw this when I was like 12-13. Now at 20 I'm here to experience nostalgia in the middle of the night. Luna was always my favorite character as a kid
What's really sad is in the orphanage, only three ponies get up and can hear the music, that means only they were being abused there, and no one else, as Luna's song can only be heard by those suffering

The animation is so good, for the longest time as a kid I thought that it was the real MLP not just fan made

Luna is a character I’ll never forget…
“come little children, I'll take thee away~”

I used to watch this for hours as a kid, it was my dream to be taken into a loving family and away from abuse. This was such a comfort for me.

I was heartbroken to hear that the original was taken down, but I am glad that the work of DuoCartunist and Hocus Pocus lives on in the shadows.
