I did this! Bus ride, gift shop.. hobbiton itself.. we added to the note in bilbo’s mailbox :P this was years ago! Doubt our note is still there.. I also got to keep one of the leaves off bilbo’s big tree above his house! It had fallen off onto the path and I was given permission to keep the found leaf! (The leaves are all handmade. Not real)
Yess that tree was so cool! And omg precious. I wish I would have known about the letters, I would have left one too. It seems like they clean out the mailboxes daily sadly 😞 how cool you have that leaf as a souvenir though! 🫶🏼
Omg this is such a beautiful video, now i wanna be back in hobbiton! I did the dinner banquett in the green dragon back a few years ago and it was one of the best moments of my life haha, i already cried on the bus :'D
Ok, one I am so jealous that you got to go! (I gotta save up to go at some point) two! I'm not gonna lie I got emotional when you walked past the stone walls into the Shire. Three I also would love my home to be like one of the hobbit holes they look so comfy. (And being pretty short I feel like it would be perfect)

Oh my!! Have so much fun. Auckland is great. I highly recommend Piha beach too if you have a chance! Some cool cliffs and dark sand ❤
