2024 Solar Eclipse at the International Aeromodeling Center

The International Aeromodeling Center in Muncie, IN experienced a total solar eclipse on April 8th, 2024. The AMA hosted hundreds of visitors at the IAC to witness the once in a lifetime event, and along with it provided the public a taste of the world of model aviation.

I love this hobby! Member of the Johnstown PA r/c club. I'm more into scale type flying than I am the stunts. I have eflight planes, timber x, cirrus, air tractor and carbon cub. I enjoy flying them to simulate what a real plane looks like. The air tractor is especially fun dusting the field 😊

Camped there three nights, what a great time. Eclipse was amazing, and was able to visit the AMA museum and the USAF museum in Dayton. Perfect vacation

Planned 6 months to be there. Unfortunately, Covid pneumonia had other plans for me. 😢
