Two of the biggest New York rappers at height of their music careers had a beef, 50 Cent the Queens native and head of G-Unit and Harlem native Cam'ron the head of Dipset. The beef lasted several years and resulted in multiple disses and skits making this one of the funnier rap beefs and one of the first rap beefs that really relied on the internet heavily. You gotta get you facts in order, Wankster came out way before Bird Call. So when 50 said “ Damn homie, in highschool you was the man homie” it wasn’t directed at Cam. And when Cam repeated that same line in Bird Call, he was going at Jigga on that verse. You youngsters gotta get it together 😂

Legendary I’m a huge Dipset fan so I was rooting for Killa. & though I’ve heard many say otherwise, I would’ve definitely dropped everything to go take care of mom dukes. Still, one of the funniest beefs I’ve ever witnessed first hand. Nowadays, niggaz take things way too serious.

Cam did it so much better no homo. 50 had these carefully written jabs and technical delivery. Cam just yelled “Cuuuurrtisss” and everybody was laughing. IMO this took out the seriousness that went with 50s.
