That’s how I’m watching these shows. They might be a bit rough, especially when adapting to whatever Disney throws at them, but there’s enough character development and world building to make them worthwhile if not necessary.
@jackreynolds2144 cob didn't try to defend him Cad opened up with it I'm just saying he has no room to talk about being a cold blooded killer he did worse stuff then boba and was doing it way before boba was in the trade
This fits so well. I would lower the music volume a bit, especially during dialogue, but this makes me wish this is the official music we got in the series. Well done!
"Is that just friendly advice, or is that a threat?" Bane's reaction to that is brilliant. He's clearly thinking "okay, guess he aint as slow as he looks." And then he shifts gears to try and talk him down even though he has no real intentions of letting Vanth walk away. Such a well written and filmed scene from all parties involved.
This is honestly the best edit I have seen of this clip that I have seen. The timing ⏱ is perfect well done. The only place it feels a bit weak is when Cad gives his message you can’t really hear it because of the music but except That it is absolute perfection well done. It makes the seem more intimidating and feels more western like which is one of the things that I love about Star Wars. Thank you so much for this edit. Xx
Thank you! When editing I always try to edit with the music as a base, and I agree, I tried to edit the music just a bit to tone it down but it just didn’t want to play along haha. Thanks for the comment!
The best thing about this scene is that it doesn't belittle Cobb Vanth. Cobb is an excellent quick draw and it left the question of how good he is up in the air by implementing the third guy distracting him for a small but pivotal fraction of time so that he couldn't keep his eye on Cad Bane to fully commit to the duel to draw with full attention on Cad.
Vanth is still slower than Bane, but the scene works so well because he's slower by literal fractions of a second, he is probably the second best quickdraw gunslinger next to Bane and the only reason he gets so truly outplayed here is his Deputy fucking him over, it means we as a viewer has to basically guess "Was Cobb Vanth actually going to win this?"
Plot flaw...Cad Bane says at 0:57 'I'd be careful where I was sticking my nose if I was you', only trouble is, he doesn't have a nose, so that would not be a turn of phrase you would expect him to use.
I don't understand why people weren't happy the way he looked , my first reaction was that he looked like a fucking demon. There are a lot worse costume jobs done currently in star wars than his.
@@theoneaboveall4533 The Grand Inquisitor in Kenobi looked fine to me. Yeah they could have done CGI to make him look more like his species but it looked fine.
In a behind the scenes conversation, they said his character was inspired by the character Lee Van Cleef played in The Man With No Name trilogy. Cad bane and young Boba Fett had some of the best episodes in the clone wars cartoon. Wish we wouldve gotten more screen time for both of these characters.

You do realize that Cad Bane is one of the greatest bounty hunters in the history of Star Wars right? Man has competed against some jedi and came out on top before. Of course the 2 guys here got whacked.
We all have to admit Cad bane was the best thing about this show. He may have not had much screen time, but the time he had was worth every second
It was super cool to see him in live action!
@@iamnubnub8380 hell yeah he was
He killed the best side character in cold blood, should have thrown him into the sarlaac pit

@@kylemerryman2074 I agree
"Boba fett is a cold blooded killer" Man you did some of the most despicable shit back during the clone wars
Well its just like the quacta calling the stifling slimy
It’s not like he was saying he was better. He’s just saying Boba is a bad dude and Cob shouldn’t be trying to defend him.
@jackreynolds2144 cob didn't try to defend him Cad opened up with it I'm just saying he has no room to talk about being a cold blooded killer he did worse stuff then boba and was doing it way before boba was in the trade
@@irishboi7100 again that doesn’t really matter. It’s not about Bane. It’s about Boba being someone that Cob doesn’t want to work with.
During bobf, cad bane is 71 years old, and still we’ve never seen him lose a duel
I wish a dark cyber-western themed guitar would play whenever someone asked me MY name
Lol, that would be the dream!
Get a bluetooth speaker and make it happen!
“I’d be careful where I was sticking my nose if I were you”
True cause you ain’t got no nose caddy.
I just can’t get over Bane telling people to watch out for body parts he doesn’t have 😂
0:47-0:50 Perfectly timed!
Thank you! I tried to time the music as perfectly as possible to the scene 😀
This fits so well. I would lower the music volume a bit, especially during dialogue, but this makes me wish this is the official music we got in the series. Well done!
honestly this is the best edit of this scene i've seen so far
Thank you so much!
I agree
Holy crap! This fit so perfectly that I only realized it wasn't the normal music when it started to get too loud. What a missed opportunity!
Cad Bane is the fastest gunslinger in the galaxy.

OMG, what a great edition, and of course his theme fits perfectly with the scene.

It's about focus, no matter the skill. Cad Bane had one thing on mind whereas Cobb couldn't keep his head in the game.
I really hoped that the blaster sound from clone wars would be there on banes pistols
They should’ve played this music 🎵 in the show it would’ve been 10 times better.
I always got really strong Fallout New Vegas vibes from both of these characters, especially Cobb
YES!! 😎
I feel Justified
Cad Bane is a fucking the best star wars character ever! (along with Hondo Ohnaka and Maul)
Oh shit this deserves more views
Thank you so much!!

If I was you. Meaning he was talking to Cobb about Cobb who does have a nose.
@@BruceWayne-fj9bm but if Cad Bane was Cobb, he wouldn't be Cobb, he'd still be Cad Bane, and therefore wouldn't have a nose.

Yeah he looks perfect. People are just idiots.

This is a phenomenal edit, but I prefer the almost white noise that played during the original scene. This is such a great scene.
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
The only disappointing thing about this scene in book of boba fett was the music and if they had his theme music here I would be 10/10 instead of 7/10
It's probably due to Clone Wars being composed by Kevin Kiner and Book of Boba my Ludwig Göransson. But they could have remixed it I suppose.
@@dpgamezderek8137 Ahsoka got her TCW theme in Mando season 2. They could have given Cad this theme if they wanted him to.
Thanks
This whole show was just a Star Wars version of a cowboy film Lol.

Cool scene and all but I had hoped bane wouldn’t kill him even though I knew he would vanth is such a cool character
Rewatch the final episode and wait for the credits to end.
Vanth isn't dead
Im glad that Cobb survived
why is everyone talking about 0:47when they arent talking about 2:09
Lower the music a little next time, other than that it’s perfect!
Why did the second guy just stand there
i have a wild west filing about this...
🤭 All that drams over a spice run.....geez tell cad to come to earth we got plenty of spice at the grocery store.
please someone make this in scope please
2:07 is it just me or this guy has it’s holster completly closed 😅
i actually perfer this version, the music playing while the whole stand off reminds me of those spahgetti westerns
Best gunslinger in the universe but his hand is like that lol
RICK LONG CANBERRA NERDS INC ! ALL STAR WARS NERDS BOW DOWN TO ME !! 🤣🤣

No, he's inspired by Lee Van Cleef. Jeremy Bulloch who played Boba in the OT was inspired by Clint Eastwood.
2:30 the most AMERRICA ive ever seen
I would be careful where you sticking your nose if I were you
Well At least I have one
The song and Bane's design don't match. He looks hilariously gross, whilst the song calls for a charming yet viole character.
Agent 47 lose cad bane that not fair
And that is when I decided not to watch the series 🤣 no Cobb Vanth no watching
Vanth is a peasant compared to Bane
But, he's in the series.
