Dreamquest reached out to me to offer their newest model, the Dreamquest Pro, for us to check out. Specwise this little square of a PC boasts an 11th gen Intel N5105 quad core 2.0GHz cpu, 16GB ram, a 512GB ssd, THREE HDMI monitor ports, room for internal expansion with a 2.5" sata drive slot, dual ethernet, and dual band wifi. The biggest question I have of these mini computers is ... can they game!?!? Let's boot this little guy up and see what it'll run! Also lets open it up to see the guts!
[Correction]: While filming I didn't know the price of the specific configuration I received, it is $239.99 as of the posting of this video.

Thanks for your response. I got it figured out. Had a problem with the dongle I had and got a new keyboard to continue setting up the machine. The system I got had big warning stickers about interrupting the boot, so I'm a bit freaked out, considering your experience. Will keep it on until I get through set up as the keyboard is coming by priority mail.
Thanks for a fear and true review , looks like not speedy like laptops or big desktops.
looks like a decent deal! there is a coupon now for 30$ off :O
Great video thanks. Amazon UK seems to suggest the max internal ssd that can be fitted is 2TB, what does the manual say?
No technical reason that I know of why it wont work with a larger drive
@@sjm4306can it run fortnite
sooo cool also the amozon was updated its 239.99
Where can we buy, what's their website.. am only finding the previous model when I do a web search and can't find their official website..
to be fair a reviewer should be able to install windoze which barely takes 20 mins if you have an iso ready
True it's not difficult but if you spent ~$200 on a product you shouldn't have to "fix" it right out of the box. It's fair criticism that when you buy something that it should work. And I basically had to do an installation repair anyway to get it to boot before I even found that it had this issue.
hallo, and what can you say if i want to watch film? 4k ?
Thank you, can you walk me thru wiping and reinstalling win 11?
Can it record gameplay from an xbox series s without a capture card?
No, it'd still need a capture card
Hello so you see these smaller computers getting even smaller in the next 20 years?
Yep, I wouldn't be surprised if we eventually get full blown phone sized computers with decent specs sooner than later. If you think about it high end phones can already blow lower end pc's out of the water.
Fanless PCs are cool, unfortunately the cheap ones are still not very powerful.
Give it time, the current crop is way better and cheaper than just a few years ago so I can definitely see something in the performance range of a steamdeck for under $200 before long.
You pushed the button when you took it out of the box I bet when you hooked up the power and then hit the button you turned it off.
It's a momentary soft power button. Pressing it without being plugged in has no effect.
Could this run revit, or do 3d rendering
Technically yes but honestly it'll be sluggish. For cad stuff having a decent dedicated gpu makes a huge difference. This guy only has integrated graphics.
@@sjm4306 what if I plug in an external gpu?
You need a high speed thunderbolt port to use an egpu, this model doesn't have one of those.
@@sjm4306 Thanks for the info 😊
Mine died less then a year... and i have no idea to contact support..
hello, sorry for any inconvenience ! would you like to talk to me? what is the problem? I am the DreamQuest seller.
@@vidyyang5847 stopped turning on
@@vidyyang5847 i purchased one last week, but it says Windows not Activated, can you help? thanks
Ram cannot be added??
It's hard soldered so without solder rework equipment to desolder the old ram and solder in larger compatible chips and possibly patching the bios then no there's no easy way to just upgrade the ram.
Windows product key missing!
Contact the manufacturer and get them to issue you a new key, no idea how it could've passed qc without proper activation.
Why the hell do people game test this thing. It is NOT a gaming PC for fuck sake. I just want to know if it is good for day to day and media. I have an Alienware and a Falcon for gaming - gamers know where to go for their kits.
For fun and to push it to its limits. If it can game then it can definitely do surfing and media. Calm down and lighten up a little, not everything has to be so uptight.
