I own Venue SX dual tone diesel MT 2020 model. In 3yr 9 months I have covered 80,000 kms on my car and I love every aspect of it. And Hyundai’s CRDi engines are rock solid and as silent as petrol engines, some people have surprisingly asked me if it’s really a diesel car. I love my Venue diesel to the core and it’s really very frugal.

Awesome 1200 kms, now I'm feeling sad for buying a petrol Nexon. After filling my tank, I can hardly get 500~ 600 km range. This figure of 1200+ is mind blowing and almost double my petrol car with 44 liter tank. I will definitely try to buy a diesel as my next, if diesel is still being sold after couple of years.

Dang, light weight body must have helped it really well . Its also help tries to not get tear and wear fast. Well low star build quality has its own benifit even it doesn't save your life 😜
Was the fuel filled till autocut or till the brim. You would fill extra 10-12 litres if filled to the brim. That would mean 55l of diesel gave that much range. Driving at 70-75 at cruise control. And increasing speed to 83 84 while recording. 21 22kmpl mileage is obvious. Driving on expressways at 110-120kmph reduces the mileage much more than this which is the future of india.
The idea was to get realistic mileage/fuel efficiency, and we got exactly that. We didn’t set any unrealistic expectations for potential buyers. Sadly there are not cameras that can run for 24 hours straight, but you have every right to question if you think the efficiency we got was unrealistic.

i have done the the exact trip and even had my fuel done from the location in udaipur you did in the same Hyundai Venue SX. But, Petrol. With Hyundai petrol my FE was 14.5 kmpl. My regret is not buying diesel. And It was ONLY because of your Video made 1 years ago discouraging buyers to not go for Diesel, as diesel doesn't have a future. And here you are. I have Venue S petrol, 2022 model , It gives 12-14 in city and on Highway it gives 18-20km, Highway par no doubt Petrol gives good mileage but in city it's poor on bumper to bumper.
That is because you are driving in a city too. This video is shot on purely highway. City driving generates lesser mileage as compared to highway driving. So 600+ kms range is still very good.
The more the kms you drive the less problematic DPF will be. If you drive less then only you have to regenerate dpf on an idle car. And if you still are apprehensive, go for nexon diesel or altroz Diesel, that engine comes without dpf.
So we set some rules
1. One Full Tank
2. Two people on board
3. AC On all the time
4. Drive on busy state highways, national highways and cities

Mere pas hai venue diesel..base model hai...halogen bulb hai...light throw utna achha toh nh hai..but ngt mei jyada dikkat nh aati hai highways par.....led bulbs wale variant sx..sxo.ka shayad thoda thik ho.

I have Venue S petrol, 2022 model , It gives 12-14 in city and on Highway it gives 18-20km, Highway par no doubt Petrol gives good mileage but in city it's poor on bumper to bumper.
Below 100kmph you can expect upto 18-20kmpl

That is because you are driving in a city too. This video is shot on purely highway. City driving generates lesser mileage as compared to highway driving. So 600+ kms range is still very good.
120 KMs is no big deal for any car in a full tank bro! That must be a typo?
We fixed that within seconds, I am sure it’s appearing 1200 + KMs to everyone and everywhere.

The more the kms you drive the less problematic DPF will be. If you drive less then only you have to regenerate dpf on an idle car. And if you still are apprehensive, go for nexon diesel or altroz Diesel, that engine comes without dpf.
