Thank you for not hating on Wonderful Precure just because of the lack of combat! Honestly, I get annoyed when people complain about the action in this and Kirakira, and it's nice to finally see someone defend the season for it. I also kinda like the chase action in the series, as it shows how resourceful the Cures are!
Wanpre has alot of potential I really hope they don't mess up at the end like they did with Hiro sky It's still one of my favourite seasons but the skear head thing was not it.. as for the Chase action while I'm completely fine with it cuz I don't watch precure for the fights they could have made the garu garu embodiments of the animal's negative emotions instead of the animal itself
Yeah the skearhead final fight felt sooo rushed. And yeah exactly. Thats a good idea, the monsters being the animals' negative emotions. Would've been great for the 2nd half of the season.
At least I expect that in the end Cure Wonderful decide to Hug Gaou hard as Huggto Precure to give all love to him and said “Don't Be GaruGaru and Let's Play together.” just like same way she said to MeiMei GaruGaru.
i don’t think they messed it up *completely* but the season should have been paced better. it’s like, they just threw a whole bunch of heavy lore on us with like just 5 episodes left out of the entire 50…….
Im loving the season, instantly became in my top tier seasons ^^ I love all the main characters, they are such a joy to watch from beginning to end, I love the educational aspect of learning the different animals and how we care for them, the villains are great really upped the stakes in the second half, the comedy is on point, the world building is fantastic and consistent as we get to see Niko Garden more often than previous seasons where we see the alternate worlds ^^ Im looking forward to see how everything is resolved ^^ Great video as always ^^
yes, the characters are so fun especially Mayu teasing Satoru. love all the animal education aspects too. The villains being introduced in the second half definitely freshened things up. And yeah good point, love that Niko Garden is seen very often compared to other magic worlds which we barely see (Blue Sky Kingdom in Happiness Charge for example). i still have hope that the last few episodes of the series or the finale in general will give satoru and daifuku their cure names because i can see them getting the michiru and kaoru treatment from splash star where they become cure bright and windy the last second OR just give the bunny duo the shiny luminous or milky rose treatment where they dont get the cure titles but are still considered cures like shiny and milky rose. IDK i mean they gave daifuku a human form with a complete civilian outfit and a merch not related to the movie so why wouldn’t they become cures in the actual series 😭
Eh I don't find it likely that they could get cure names in the series since they didn't in the movie. It would just be inconsistent especially with merchandise. Daifuku becoming human in non movie merch and probably later in the season is unrelated to them getting cure names. Yes they are very comparable to Michiru and Kaoru

Wonderful is a pretty solid season, and it's definetely on my top 5 seasons of precure, I feel like ppl don't give enough credit for it, simply because there isn't physical combat or male cures in it. Like you said all the characters are fleshed out very well, and we still have lots of episodes to do even more (I hope this season has 50 episodes, final arc might be perfect). Btw, I feel like they just should make a group of green/teal cures in the next anniversary color book, just like they did with yellow/orange/gold cures. So Lillian can fit better in the category.
I know we all love the usual fight scenes, but after the really awesome ones last season, and all the high drama, this season spending more time outside of the action sequences, the chase action and the generally fluffier atmosphere is a nice change for a season. After 20 seasons of high octane battles, a season about showing compassion to animals and understanding that an animal lashing out isn't evil, it's in distress, feels really fresh, and when they undoubtedly go back to super punches next season, it'll be even more exciting!
The best part abt during these said 'actions scenes' is that while they are trying to calm Garugaru/Gaogaon animals, Satoru with his infinite animal wisdom would drop tips or information based on the animals they are fighting, or in this case calm the said Animal. Like the show is giving information to the children watching the series on what the animals they specifically do or their environments. Not only is it an amazing way for children to learn, but it also shows that Satoru is also part of the team thanks to his knowledge, and I find that so nice that he is included, it really shows how important he is.

This season has been underwhelming for me. The chase sequences instead of action are ok I guess, at least some of them get creative. But my main problem is the dog duo. Both Komugi and Iroha have felt like sided cures despite being the main duo, aside from some of the first episodes they have not evolved nor had a significant episode (compared to Nyammy and Lillian who have had the best episodes of the series) The secondary cast are good i guess, at least they aren't annoying. While it is too late to place this season higher for me, I'm hoping that this last part of the season does not fumble
Yeah, Komugi and Iroha haven't had a huge development episodes after the 20 mark which is kinda shocking. Yeah, I'm glad the secondary cast isn't overly annoying like the fairies in Yes 5 GoGo and how they dont take too much screentime. I can't wait to go back to physical combat next year
In my personal opinion, I feel like Wonderful has had some really good writing quality compared to some of the previous seasons we’ve had. There hasn’t been an episode in Wonderful that hasn’t kept me hooked. With the chase action, I was hesitant at first but I feel like the staff have done a good job at keeping a majority of the chase action interesting. I do wish Komugi felt more like the main protagonist. Iroha definitely feels more like the main protagonist than Komugi. I’m very much a bit bitter though that Satoru and Daifuku can’t become actual cures. Apparently the case with Cure Wing was a one time thing?
yes, the writing is reaally good and the episodes have me entertained with all the fun slice of life stuff. Yes, exactly. I was very hesitant with the chase action but it's creative and fun. I don't mind at all Iroha being the main protagonist as I find it refreshing, almost as if we have a purple lead Cure but not entirely. And yes, Satoru and Daifuku should've been Cures. It wouldn't have been a waste of money since they can just limit the merch they create of them. All we want is just a Cure title. And I never heard of such a thing with Cure Wing, especially since Dancing Star happened. We do know it was experimental to have a main boy cure on the team, yes. But I didn't hear about them never doing it again

I asked my non-Precure friend what color Lillian is and he said blue, and when I showed him Nyammy, he said white. I personally see Nyammy as white too, but blue cures have already been done to death, so I see Lillian as a teal/turquoise color, like Cure Milky.

It was definitely intentional to not make them Cures. Who knows what the reason was. Though I don't think they don't want to do boy cures anymore, there's a big possibility of them coming back especially after Cure Wing and Dancing Star Precure. Just a shame they decided to take a step back.
oh the reason cure Lillian is looks ?blue" is coz her color is actually a Green/Cyan mix. true Blue would be more like Cure gelato's Hair, Cyan is what most people think of as "light blue"(cyan is between green and blue). Green/Cyan is what cure milky and Hatsune Miku's hair color is. SO yeah not a true green, but not a true cyan either. in between
wonderful precure became a top 5 precure season for me in like the first 5 episodes 1-great introduction to characters 2-amazing artstyle (I knew this shouldn’t affect the rating but I can’t help it if I don’t like the artstyle like suite it won’t be that enjoyable to me) 3-I like ribbons and the designs are full of plus in general they’re amazing 4-LOVE INTEREST WOOOO 5-the voice actors (cure lillian’s va is a fav of mine and friendy’s too) 6-I’m actually completely fine with the lack of combat im not really a fan of fights and usually I skip the fighting scenes in the other seasons but the chase action introduced more creative things such as the kirarin animals abilities 7-THE TRANSFORMATIONS a problem hirogaru had imo the transformations were so so long and after watching them every episode you can’t help but skip them plus I like the idea of have 2 themes in the transformations the group transformation doesn’t get boring because they switch every week 8-THE TOYS IM OBSESSED WITH THEM and having one of them become a makeup item shows that they care about their older audience who would be more interested in makeup than toys

I think the only problem is the cure friendy and cure wonderful they two doesn't have any uniqueness at all Especially how annoying is cure wonderful in my opinion I know she's dog actually but in my opinion I think she doesn't deserve at all to be leader especially seeing that cure friendy doesn't have any real development But I still like the season a bit i think toei need to change they mind again I want to have a precure season that has a bit mature story (no more some yeah you know ship stories) I just want a storyline that more focused on character plot world building I know precure is shoujo anime and toei can't create that but yea i hope they make it if that had much effort like how they do on fresh when fresh precure saving precure with do a something that different
I think you're overthinking it a bit with Nico. I don't think she's evil or working for the villains in any way, I think she just dislikes humans and wants to find some way to run off with Nico Garden so it won't be put in danger again. She's basically just hanging out in the human world to see if they've changed since the backstory times where they hunted the wolves to extinction and doesn't have a proper answer to that yet.

I know this isn't a very popular opinion, but I actually really love WanPre! Its shaping up to be one of my favorite seasons! The characters are all so endearing(although at first I wasn't a fan of Yuki, but I've warmed up to her) and love theme of caring for animals. The writing is pretty darn good too. The ONLY thing i'll say against it is that I wish each girl had equal screen time & focus. Im not a fan of when seasons give way more focus to certain Cures over others to the point where the other Cures fade in the background. I really like the cat duo, but I would like to see more from the dog duo too. Its not too late, but Its kinda frustrating when that happens imo I am however still loving this season &I'm excited to see how it ends!

Never heard the season thing. Like same with Yuki/Cure Nyammy her background is icey given her name but also it takes place at night etc. And I also agree that I wish Lilian is the same green as the healing penguin, cause it would look so good with the blue and green

But they had mentioned Soleil's being fall themed solely because of the purple globs being like grapes which is a fall fruit, and Star with her cherry blossom skirt. So maybe it's all just made up but who knows. yeah the kirarin penguin's color would be soo nice for her hair
I originally thought in episode 36 that Satoru and Daifuku🐰were finally going to become Precures but unfortunely that hasn't happen yet. I would guess that it will take place right after Niko's human form debute because the series nearly reach to episode 40 and doesn't give enought time for Satoru and Daifuku🐰 to debute as Precures especially coming close to the Christmas episode and the showdown with Gaou🐺.
I like the season. The story is decent so far but i really wish we had less fillers at this point. I’m a physical action enthusiast but i think i’m a 55 percent sold on the action choices this season. I still wish the chases were more like Card Captor Sakura tho, those were real action chases. Also i love the character interactions, Yuki being my fave but i’m enjoying the Satoru and Mayu combo a lot. I love Satoru and he and Daifuku deserve to be cures, they don’t even have character songs😢. The villains are entertaining but i wish they did shake the plot more than for the group attack. I was hoping for a different kind of monster that’ll bring more physical fights. Also the Ost is very good and i do have to say i love this season more than The last one ahahaah. It’s a solid 7 so far, let’s see how it ends.

The action scenes are really boring for me however the slice of life parts, the characters, and their interactions with each other are super entertaining that they make up for the lack of combat.
Baaaby 👐🏾 when Cure Nyammy enter on the scene & let that Owl Garugaru have it I was screaming Yaaaassssss 🤗 not gone lie I definitely got amped up and was hoping so so hard that we would get more fighting action scenes but to no avail 😭🤣😂😉😂 I mean don't get me wrong the season is cool but it's not as exciting with out certain visuals "Fight action scenes" that we the fans so luv and what The Cures are known for. Great characters hell even the villains are cool just need more action just saying
So... their group attack is like Grand printemps from Princess precure? They get long fancy dresses? Not very creative! It would be fun if they became a circus group and jumped on a giant trampoline and do flips or shoot colorful ribbons and juggling balls. Animals are in circus, this move make more sense than becoming princesses 🤨 The smile team did it but they are represent fairy tales so a princess form is logic! Not sure about the Kira kira dresses though.

Milky was much greener than her, why go back to basically light blue? And yes. exactly. Everyone who isn't into precure color discourse will just see her as light blue
I know this isn't a very popular opinion, but I actually really love WanPre! Its shaping up to be one of my favorite seasons! The characters are all so endearing(although at first I wasn't a fan of Yuki, but I've warmed up to her) and love theme of caring for animals. The writing is pretty darn good too. The ONLY thing i'll say against it is that I wish each girl had equal screen time & focus. Im not a fan of when seasons give way more focus to certain Cures over others to the point where the other Cures fade in the background. I really like the cat duo, but I would like to see more from the dog duo too. Its not too late, but Its kinda frustrating when that happens imo
I am however still loving this season &I'm excited to see how it ends!
@@pancakemuffinberry21 yeah I warmed up to Yuki as well. I understand how you feel with cures getting more screentime than others, it can be annoying. Great season so far

Love the video and random I just assumed milky had water due to being the Milky Way and Silene has ice and snow because usually a lot of anime will give the ice themed person a moon motif or Vice versa. Never heard the season thing. Like same with Yuki/Cure Nyammy her background is icey given her name but also it takes place at night etc.
And I also agree that I wish Lilian is the same green as the healing penguin, cause it would look so good with the blue and green

I'm pretty sure I heard of the Star Twinkle transformation seasons motif from Twitter, I don't remember if it was from an official source/magazine/interview or just some speculation. But they had mentioned Soleil's being fall themed solely because of the purple globs being like grapes which is a fall fruit, and Star with her cherry blossom skirt. So maybe it's all just made up but who knows.

I originally thought in episode 36 that Satoru and Daifuku🐰were finally going to become Precures but unfortunely that hasn't happen yet. I would guess that it will take place right after Niko's human form debute because the series nearly reach to episode 40 and doesn't give enought time for Satoru and Daifuku🐰 to debute as Precures especially coming close to the Christmas episode and the showdown with Gaou🐺.
I hope they appear in the series.

I like the season. The story is decent so far but i really wish we had less fillers at this point. I’m a physical action enthusiast but i think i’m a 55 percent sold on the action choices this season. I still wish the chases were more like Card Captor Sakura tho, those were real action chases. Also i love the character interactions, Yuki being my fave but i’m enjoying the Satoru and Mayu combo a lot. I love Satoru and he and Daifuku deserve to be cures, they don’t even have character songs😢. The villains are entertaining but i wish they did shake the plot more than for the group attack. I was hoping for a different kind of monster that’ll bring more physical fights.
Also the Ost is very good and i do have to say i love this season more than The last one ahahaah. It’s a solid 7 so far, let’s see how it ends.
55 percent, so real lol. Yeah it's a shame Satoru doesnt have a character song either. I havent checked out the ost yet but I love how Mayu has an instrumental theme song when she appears on screen
I also agree, especially half of the time anytime they give us some storyline they seem to forget about it for a while.
The action scenes are really boring for me however the slice of life parts, the characters, and their interactions with each other are super entertaining that they make up for the lack of combat.
That is totally understandable. I wish they fought the monkey gaogaons in ep 30, it was very underwhelming. Yeah, the slice of life stuff is fun.
Baaaby 👐🏾 when Cure Nyammy enter on the scene & let that Owl Garugaru have it I was screaming Yaaaassssss 🤗 not gone lie I definitely got amped up and was hoping so so hard that we would get more fighting action scenes but to no avail 😭🤣😂😉😂 I mean don't get me wrong the season is cool but it's not as exciting with out certain visuals "Fight action scenes" that we the fans so luv and what The Cures are known for. Great characters hell even the villains are cool just need more action just saying

So... their group attack is like Grand printemps from Princess precure? They get long fancy dresses? Not very creative! It would be fun if they became a circus group and jumped on a giant trampoline and do flips or shoot colorful ribbons and juggling balls. Animals are in circus, this move make more sense than becoming princesses 🤨
The smile team did it but they are represent fairy tales so a princess form is logic! Not sure about the Kira kira dresses though.
