In a way I guess even if it's about just longer then HD Concept aka before GT5 Prologue. It's shorter then any GT4 & 5 Prologue or 2002 Concept the GT3 epilogue I see it as. Even in 1.68 you could access the events you had done with prior saves just it wouldn't update so if players didn't have the prior driving missions/licenses they wouldn't be able to save them sure but they also wouldn't have had the unlock for the second lot.
@@FortunateLee98 It offers 18 cars, you can import them and sell them to GT7. I didn't get a car every license test, but did after about every two or so from my experience. I found Time Trial 3 to be the hardest and some licenses to be a bit odd. I have experience with the series and even I thought wait these a bit hard for casuals but it could be I just suck at GT7's physics as to me I hated it, some felt like assists weren't even working that I turned on and felt like when you turn them off and the cars just went oh you hit the brake yeah you can't turn, which happens with assists off, so to me this demo is rushed, looks flashy but is rushed and has lack of polish in areas but that's just me besides my hate for GT7 as a demo I think it does a fair just just needed more polish.

The whole Driver License crap that is way too long and gets ridiculously petty later on regarding micro-second loss preventing you from progressing to the next part of the game is what turns people away. The initial challenges are cool and engaging, but it gets to a point where the game just gets insanely difficult to simply complete the lap to unlock the next License race. Other than the 18 cars to sell which I would assume is kind of easy gift cars in a way, besides curating how GT7 is in a more simplified way for newcomers and to an 'ok' degree compared to the rest of the series how it feels or how GT HD it feels at times besides the GT7 elements and how some times like time trial 3 is very hard/Intermediate is a cake walk and Pro AI feels unpolished. I think it does the job but I was questioning how some casuals would do with it. Even as a fan of the series all of our experiences are different with how the games control too but yeah sometimes it felt like it took a bit for me to get used to how different GT5 (replaying) and Sport/7 feel as 7 feels way different now I assume or I just never played my friend's copy enough to understand later game vehicleso r they tweked them a lot in updates. The assists for intermediate to beginner are laughably so close and pro has all turned off. That and the AI gap is just weird, it felt off immediately. Yeah them not saying it's a GT7 demo is odd. I mean even manufacturer demos using GT4 Prologue/GT4 or GT 2002 Concept say that in the name. Even when they were released before GT4 even came out or after GT45 came out like a Mazda MX-5 edition one. I did a research/wiki pages on them so they are in my mind.
I think it lacks polish in areas, besides the put together as a list and unlocks things which is fine and sizeable content to highlight the game. I think the lack of the event selection map or other quality menu design could have been here, but wasn't. As to me at least in GT7 when I tried a friend's copy I found that part very confusing compared to past games event selection but maybe other people got used to it. But going from a list selection to a map is a very different design of menus but that's just me. Some like the 3rd time trial are very hard, some license tests are fair even if I got bronze and silver but I was still getting used to the physics after a GT5 replay prior and after playing this demo so different experiences, pro level AI in races are very much a jump over intermediate that felt like a cake walk but as the assists are minor tweaks over beginner and pro is all assists turned off, yeah that should say how much they consider the settings besides the AI. I did drive bad at times but even still some felt like Forza Motorsport 2 like shoots to the front kind of AI it felt silly. I think it needed a better tweaking of pro or needed a 4th difficulty in there or settings preset. I myself tweaked the settings to my preferences of auto drive off, visual assists (I find them distracting and I know the courses already anyway), a fair others on just to see how they go then of course ease into the no assists and yeah sometimes it felt like the assists were off when I know in Forza or GT games of the past at least even GT Sport from memory I don't remember the brakes/cornering doing what it did like they lock up, with no assists it makes sense, IRL no idea per car but I had assists on so to me it felt unpolished. At least using and stumbling with the Nissan Skyline GT-R R32 in the 3rd time trial compared to past games it's been present in being a lot of them. Other than that for 3 races (restricted cars per class), 14 license tests (1 demo, 4 B, 5 A, 5 IB), 3 practice run as well it's 3 tracks in the game, a stats screen/car descriptions, 18 cars and can be imported/sold in GT7, all pre-tuned cars than their GT7 counterparts. A car for every event (besides doing 2 or whatever percentage it giving you a car in the license tests), none for doing the practice run. I'd say it's a fair demo. I don't think they were tuned in the Forza way of all speed but they did feel heavy but I don't have GT7 stock versions of the cars for reference and I don't know how much worth comparing to GT Sport is as they are likely very different. Having intermediate for saying playing prior GT games and beginner for not played was a fair option but yeah the pro is very different in AI and settings. Those are my impressions. I think it was 'getting the job done' but felt fancy enough but rough in areas. I wasn't that impressed even if as a non GT7 owner I do fit just not in the new to GT series corner, but it's part of series history so I had to play it of course why not I did GT 2002 Concept/GT4 manufacturer demos for the GT wiki so why not. I'd say it's worth it to seeing how the game is and the 18 cars to sell if not a first timer of course that's kind of the only benefit, other than that it's a first timers demo like it's supposed to be, the dialogue/presentation fits enough of what GT7 is just well like I said with the map or what else they could do. Obviously the main game explains stuff but it would be nice if they have more that still reflected it better than a list of options that make it feel like HD Concept for PS3 did even if more content then that but less than GT 2002 Concept, GT 4/5 Prologue and their way of going about things as prior demos before the games (not counting before or after release manufacturer demos).
Gran Turismo, after all these years, lacks vehicle damage and cars just don't bounce off barriers. I first played GT in the 90s on the ps1, and it' was a brilliant game but sadly it doesn't seem to have progressed much. It lacks realism. I gave up on the GT games a long time ago. They are just more of the same.
I don’t do live services. There’s plenty of old Gran Turismo games or other racing games even if Sony wants to get into live services then I’m done with them. The only reason I like Sony is because of their single player games, but even naughty dog is screwing that up now.
No trophies it is just a demo. You can import the 18 cars to GT7 and sell them though so that's kind of the benefit besides highlighting key aspects of the game.
It wouldnt suck if they made gt7 free to download once u complete this demo coz once everyone finished the demo what are we gonna do with the game then 🤷

Its hard to get back to GT after playing Forza Motorsport to be fair. The 2023 reboot got some flack at launch but I found myself dropping many hours. The graphics in GT are good but the gameplay is far superior in Forza.
Nothing beats GT7 in VR with a good wheel and pedal set. Now the game looks even more incredible on the Pro. Forza looks and plays like a game from 2010.
@@zerox1715 You clearly haven't played Forza. Graphics in GT are great but there's no weather change, very little climate impact and no strategy whatsoever related to track weather. Forza has mastered track behaviour. Passing is crisp and accessories are very capable. Same for accessories in Flight Simulator. And that's not taking into account the absolutely abysmal microtransactions in GT7.
@@Mathieuacc I did play Forza at launch and it was absolutely dismal. You clearly haven't played GT7 with a wheel in VR, because if you had, you would have wholeheartedly agreed with every word I wrote in my previous comment. Playing a racing sim today on a flat screen is so archaic and totally lacks any kind of real immersion. This is why GT7 will always be a vastly better game than Forza.

Worst Gran Turismo. Best gran Turismo is gt3 and 4 which we all need to find a way to convince, or petition polyphony to rerelease these two games. This pathetic generation needs to learn a thing or two about good racing games. GT7 is why online is killing good games and franchises.
I love GT but I have to say that I found GT7 to be mediocre. GT Sport is better, and GT5 and GT4 are the best! They are VERY SPEICAL GAMES. imo GT5 with the jazz music HAS THE BEST SOUNDTRACK EVER
I played this for maybe 40 mins. so far, I got 4 cars did a music rally and a decent amount of lisc tests. BUT I every track I have seen so far has been in GT7. I guess I am not far enough in the demo. HOWEVER, i WISH THEY COULD HAVE PUT IT IN MY gt7 game so i can get credits. THEY should have made it available to everyone, but if u have GT7 already, have it as a part of the in-game nodes. I mean they already have the music rally. I guess the A.I.
Can this game played offline like the good old Gran Turismo❤
I have to show this to my six year old brother
It’s a good prologue, this is a smart move from Sony to try to sell more copies of Gran Turismo 7
Redbone from 1970s is better than Xbone, redfail and Idiotjones
I don’t do live services. There’s plenty of old Gran Turismo games or other racing games even if Sony wants to get into live services then I’m done with them. The only reason I like Sony is because of their single player games, but even naughty dog is screwing that up now.
Does it have its own platinum or is it just a demo?
No trophies it is just a demo. You can import the 18 cars to GT7 and sell them though so that's kind of the benefit besides highlighting key aspects of the game.
Hey there, geyberz.
It wouldnt suck if they made gt7 free to download once u complete this demo coz once everyone finished the demo what are we gonna do with the game then 🤷
What do you mean by free?
Its not that deep 😭😭
I’ve just played the psvr2 version it’s great almost fotorealistisch yea these tutorials why? Why why why?
It isnt a demo though
Where's your Indiana Jones review....one of the greatest Xbox games this year. Scored better than most Playstation exclusives..😂😂😂
He will play it and review on PS5 when it comes out. 😊
Most of the shill reviews that gave Dragon Age Vanguard 9 give it that Indiana Jones there is others who do not like it and what is about" Xbox exclusive" it will be on PlayStation less that 6 month Microsoft do not have trust on the fan base that announce PlayStation release even before on their own😂😂😂😂
I doubt he got a review code and the game just entered early access today
Anyone with eyes can tell the game sucks lol.
lol Astrio not scored better 😂
It wasn't shadow dropped..a shadow drop is dropped without any announcement..this was announced a few days with a release date and time..I hate when people put the wrong information in videos..and yes they are older tracks and this game is just that it's too try and bring people back into the series or brand new players who haven't played it before again youtubers need to get the information right..its not a demo idiot it's a free to play game for the 30th anniversary of Playstation and its always been said that since they announced this game months ago
online with friends ? or just me
i know no one cares but ill say it. GT6 is my only racing game in my gaming history. never played the cartoonish racing too. im 82% to plat gt6 until i sort to forget it.
hi DreamcastGuy
He won't say hi to you, grow up
Isn’t this literally the same game? It’s just scaled down GT. There is literally no reason to play this if you have the full GT7.
IMHO its time to have another NFS Underground 2 style game with modern cars and features aka Open World Gran Turismo! Also it should not be fully tethered to online server aka playable offline and online.
Is Dreamcastguy's cat driving the cars on screen?
As someone who only plays arcade racers i could never get into simulators .. this totally changed my mind .... So i guess job done by sony
Watching Dreamcastguy's gameplay is horrific 😮
he doesn't play games, what did you expect?
Bro said concord was a great success when you can’t play it no more
they act like it's rocket science to learn how to play Grand Turismo and that people have never played it before. It's very condescending and disrespectful to gayburs
Still Playing Midnight Club Dub And Need For Speed Carbon PS2 Nothing Else Literally Also I play the PSP VERSIONS as well
Its hard to get back to GT after playing Forza Motorsport to be fair. The 2023 reboot got some flack at launch but I found myself dropping many hours. The graphics in GT are good but the gameplay is far superior in Forza.
The crew is better than forza
@KoiStewart-r6d good one.
This is why GT7 will always be a vastly better game than Forza.
even for having only 400 or so cars, while Forza Horizon 5 has at around 900, it sucks big time
Grandma are you off your meds again
" My first crack pipe"....lmao, Is it online only?
If this game wasn't loaded with Microtransactions I would have gotten it day 1. I loved the old game but the new one is so greedy.
Copying Josh Strife Plays videos, with Was it good?
From what a have seen it quite literally is a sequel to Granturismo HD which in itself was a tech demo
Completely agree. I think a mix of GT HD or GT5 just less content and more curated. The menus and presentation felt very GT HD though.
Where’s the Indiana Jones review? Lmao Xbox finally has a good game come out that’s getting highly rated and you don’t have a review 😂
Indiana Jones with terrible lighting and bad face models yall are crazy if you think its better than PlayStation games you guys get one decent game for xbox and you think its the best game ever
concord
Especially dumb there’s no online since that would have pushed PS subs which is always a priority for Sony.
Compared to the mighty Indiana Jones it's trash
@@bakednotfried1184 who said that?
Anyone with at least half a brain.
Are you stoned? #1 It's a completely different game. #2 It's free!
free demo for the best racing game vs clunky puzzle game with bad stealth, bad combat and bad gunplay
@SotNist forza is the best racing game 😄
Worst Gran Turismo. Best gran Turismo is gt3 and 4 which we all need to find a way to convince, or petition polyphony to rerelease these two games. This pathetic generation needs to learn a thing or two about good racing games. GT7 is why online is killing good games and franchises.
I love GT but I have to say that I found GT7 to be mediocre. GT Sport is better, and GT5 and GT4 are the best! They are VERY SPEICAL GAMES. imo GT5 with the jazz music HAS THE BEST SOUNDTRACK EVER
It's a demo. I would buy Gran Turismo if it didn't have forced online.
Concord successful? You sure about that grandpa?
Yes. Its a stripped down gt sport with only comfort hards on every csr
IS not smart enuff to separate GT7 GAMERS FROM every1 else
I again Gran turismo does not suck
I really want to pull the trigger on the 30th anniversary sale but I’ve heard the single player content isn’t as good as past Turismos.
Obviously you love it because you love whatever Sony puts out
Not a nuff tracks
You said you've played all the GT games? So why are you going on the grass on every corner? Makes no sense
Because every playstation fanboy sucks at gaming
@@BobbyH33nah Did he say that he has played all of them? In the video he keeps saying it's his first time playing GT, but then at the end he calls himself a Gran Turismo gearhead lmao
@@damngamgee3739 Yes 32 seconds into the video! Want a link?
27 secs into the video he says he's a fan.... Check and mate 😂🤡
@@felps_dupratmost of y’all so called gamers be broke 😂
Love this game
can someone buy me gran turismo 😭😭
If it’s fun, then I’m gonna buy the full game
Gran turismo 7 is not a racing sim
ah gran turismo
no other racing game nails that my car is stuck to the ground and the world moves around me feeling
DCG can’t win with you internet losers. Y’all get mad if he reviews a game and then get mad when he doesn’t. FFS whether it’s free or not he can do a video on whatever game he wants. Y’all are so insufferable.
This sim absolutely destroys Forza and every other racing game on any other platform. Playing this with a good wheel and pedal set is such a super sublime experience, one that Xbots will never know or understand.
"Hey there, gay bears!"
This is purely to help sell psvr2
Thats a DEMO… nobody knows? 😂
In 10 years these crisp graphics are prolly gona look like dog shit
The person playing this n3eds to learn how to drive.
that would be dreamcastguy 😂
It looks boring 😴
look boring
🌈 🥶
Gta7😅
WTF are you even on, the PlayStation 2 was the end of Gran Turismo.
Your car might as well be in 2D. Awful.
looks alright to me
After 20 minutes of this cheesy, corporate presentation, I'm about ready to delete this demo. Zzz...
It’s a free game, you’re not risking anything by downloading.
No GT has been as good or extensive as GT2.
Zero sense of speed. Horrible franchise.
what do you mean?
it's very authentic and doesn't ever feel like your car is stuck in place while everything moves around it.. it never does that
