There is so much to say about this beautiful 'bolt. While It looks ugly on the outside, behind that horn screen lie two choppers and solenoids that create an eerie, yet beautiful signal for a thunderbolt. Wail Signal sounded so cool on this! I love how the pitch descends so low and it revs back up to the High signal.
Even though it may need to be repainted a bit (I noticed that most of the paint either dissolved, rusted off or chipped off) it still works like a charm! I am still shocked that this siren survived a Hurricane!

Now if only the one in downtown Newberry would go off in hi-lo for the drill one year, that would be completely epic. @Sideways Model 7T: Nope, this siren still has the original motor. A part came off the motor in 2015. It was later reinstalled and siren worked really good.
@Dominik Karkowski: A Modulator produces about 110/115 decimals at 100 ft. A Thunderbolt produces 128 decimals at 100ft. Thunderbolts are a lot louder than the Modulator.
