Calling on the first guy to kiss Wicmayer was the craziest idea one could imagine to a colleague. It was too risky, not funny at all.
Clijsters is a big joker, her fans knew that.
It was pre-planned between the guys and Clijsters. The guys who ran on to the court were Wickmayer's friends.

I also want to clarify for those that do not understand that the last clip of the video of Djokovic is diferent. That fan is known as the US Open shirt guy. He has been going to the US Open for many years and they often show him on the big screen. He wears many layers of US Open shirts and takes them off throughout the match. Djokovic and others are aware of his existence as they would have likely seen him on the big screen while they are on change overs. As you can see in the background, there are not many fans at this match. Djokovic and Brad Gilbert see the fan and INVITE him onto the court. Djokovic asks to see his famous dance. So there is no risk here as the ATP initiated this.

That first one was a BIG mistake by Clijsters ... poor Wicmayer got jumped on ... too close for comfort. Was almost an indirect booty call. Security guys should have had ice cool water on hose ready to calm the jumping throbbers down.

French Open, no security, no roof, no Hawkeye, no lighting, perhaps they should join us in 2017.
It's clay, no hawkeye on clay, we don't want that, players don't want that. Roof maybe, but is indoor clay really still clay? Of obviously incidents like that happen everywhere (ok maybe not at wimbledon) so leave the Roland Garros alone. It's the second most prestigious Grand Slam and the toughest, it's for warrior only.

Nope majority of players actually don't want hawkeye on clay (except maybe for newbies like kyrgios), it would denature the game. And it's not only RG, all tournaments on clay still use umpire's eye over hawkeye, this is the way tennis is. Just like Wimbledon still have that "all white outfit" rule, RG will keep the umpire'eye, it's called tradition.
Now for a more technical reason you can read what Peter Irwin, the actual Hawk-Eye’s director of tennis think :
>> One thing that’s integral to our system is we measure the court, but we also measure the undulations in the ground. So when you play on clay, obviously the ground is constantly changing, so that would require a lot more work from our side. We would constantly have to recalibrate the system if it were to be used for officiating. On a hardcourt, we do it once at the start of the tournament because the surface doesn’t change. On grass, we do calibrate constantly throughout, but clay is just a lot more change.> Using Hawk-Eye on clay might be more accurate, but it could make for plenty of awkward moments when the mark and the electronic ruling are not in accord.
Problem with lighting is the nights can be pretty cold in Paris at this time of the year

There are security breaches on every tournaments. There is no perfect security system.

Caroline Wozniacki has the most amazing warm smile. At exhibitions she really enters into the spirit and connects with the crowd. Kim Clijsters is a very good-natured girl. While I am not a great fan of Rafa's style of play, I have to say he is a really nice guy. Novak is a male equivalent to Caroline, a great sport at exhibitions, another who really embraces the crowd.

David Poudrier No it was not about the match. He clearly said in the post match interview that he didn't like fan service because generally there is no end to it. He thinks fans should keep off the centre court and not be allowed on to the court. Though I can't argue with that after all it is professional tennis and everybody likes his work environment in a specific way. I agree with Federer here as intruders can be a real nuisance. But Rafa is from Spain and there people are more open to expressing their feelings. And the sportspersons there love the adulation. So I can understand why Rafa is so pro-fan and Roger is not. Neither of them are wrong.
