I meeeaaaan. She kinda chose way too hasty wasnt true to anyone around her then turned into a scumbag by cheating. I woulda left too. I'll blame it on the trauma though. At least she kinda had a reason unlike crazy Belly.
Honestly, not loving it. I felt like she owed an in person explanation to Katherine after all she did for Jackie. Maybe she could try to make amends with the boys instead of running?
@@KaiKailuv as far as we’ve seen they have had nothing in common, and skylar basically only got with him because everyone was telling him too. and we can’t forget how skylar was just gonna ghost nathan instead of telling him he was uncomfortable.
Skylar def did like him back though. You can’t really blame him for his reaction. They weren’t even talking as in like pre-relationship but Nathan wrote him a love song. Nathan had good intentions but he came on way too strong. I think ghosting would’ve been a pretty natural response for a teenager if someone’s acting a bit obsessive
YESSS Skylar was a waking red flag. No offense but because you can make a character gay doesn’t mean you should. And if you do you have To actually work on it cause what even was that. He was a jerk to him
I'm pretty sure Danny's Juilliard thing is just a summer program, because he's only a junior. So Jackie wasn't actually suggesting he pay his way through college on a part time job. It would just be to cover one summer's tuition.
I get why the teapot would invoke that reaction. Cole understood how much it meant to her. Took the time to fix it. Remember the saying her mom told her. He’s just told her he was happy for her & Alex so she now sees he was really putting her & his brother first. Then compound that with the fact that Alex saying “I love you” probably cemented just how much she didn’t feel for him yet this gesture from Cole brought out so much. Jackie absolutely had feeling for Cole the whole time. That’s why he kept calling out that there was something between them then she starts kissing his brother. She tried to gaslight him and say she wanted them to be friends but he knew it was more. She is a bit of a control freak and spiraling/cheating on her bf is so outside her character I get why she ran away.
To be fair, Cole is the only one who understood what the teapot meant to her, because he's the only one she told. It's not Alex's fault that she never opened up to him like that. It sucks. If she liked Cole more than Alex all along, it was a shitty thing to lead him on for so long. I mean, you've been dating the guy for like 6 months and you're surprised he says ILY? Girl, be serious. Honestly, at this point I can't see how the relationship between the brothers could be fixed outside of Jackie never coming back and neither of them ending up with her. But we all know that's not what's gonna happen.
@@Unfiltered494 I pretty much agree with all of this. I think Jackie unintentionally used Alex. She definitely liked him, to an extent, but I think her feelings for Cole were a lot stronger. However, she didn't feel she could trust him, so she chose the safer option in Alex. It's problematic that her choice was more based on trying to avoid Cole, rather than just purely wanting to be with Alex. Plus, it meant the minute she felt she could trust Cole, she would gravitate back to him since that was the one obstacle that kept her from choosing him, in the first place. All that said, I don't think she intended to hurt Alex. I think she's young and making mistakes, like most teens. I will be curious to see how she handles the fallout, when she returns to Colorado for the school year. I don't think she and Cole will be able to get together for quite some time, but I hope she doesn't continue to string Alex along, in the meantime.
She will be honest with Alex. He already knows something happen and once he finds out he’s gonna despise Jackie for what she did and Cole also. We definitely will get a different Alex next season and a different Jackie. No one is gonna like her as much once they do find out what she did. So I’m sure she will try to avoid Cole at all cost but she got feelings for him and will eventually be with him at some point next season. I just feel like something will happen between them that will cause them to break up
@@rachelreii5952 the entire premise of her leaving is because she is in the middle of two brothers. I think the entire reason she cheated on Alex because she’s in pain and unfortunately Cole understands that part of her. That’s how she relates to him and that’s what attracts her to him. But the absolutely the worst reason to get with someone. I can tell you that two hurt people can’t do anything but hurt each other. Because I believe if Jackie wasn’t hurting she would’ve never cheated on Alex
I wonder if that’s why she left. Everything with Alex and than him dropping “ I love you,” so she was probably already feeling a lot of emotions. And than she finds her tea pot. And Cole admits he likes her too and they kiss. I think she chose to go back so that they didn’t get in a fight ( the boys) but also so she can clear her head and really recognize that her family is dead and she will probably talk to Kathrine and give her the readers digest of her decision.
I feel like they could have written Alex’s character better. He just comes off bitter and resentful. A lot of people could sympathize with feeling like less compared to your sibling but they really messed up his character by doing too much.
Exactly I feel like the writers put no effort into it being a actual love triangle . Cole had all the better moments and songs and way more than Alex . The show also makes Alex look very insecure , ofcourse he has reasons to be and I would to if I were him . I really was rooting for Alex and Jackie but I can only think of one time they had a serious cute moment . I’m sad he basically had almost no chance from the beginning.
They started destroying Alex's character the moment he got together with Jackie and the sole purpose was to make people root for Cole. Alex was SUCH a sweetheart in the first 5 episodes and then all of a sudden they started focusing on his bad qualities instead of the good. It's bad, inconsistent writing.
Yeah it was a clear character assassination. Him getting drunk at the end made absolutely no sense. But you could tell she would chose Cole at the end because she hid her feelings about him and they build the tension between them the entire show. They also developed Cole’s story more than Alex and really more than Jackie. Most of the time I forgot her parents died. Also she isn’t a really good actor. She just very pretty. Her display of emotions comes across as bland and boring. Alex and Cole really caring the show
i just can’t over the fact of how alex is going to be absolutely crushed when he knows what happened. the main reason i do not want jackie and cole together is because of what cole said at the campfire thing where he said he always get what he wants in the end. like boooo. i hate that he is right. cole’s behavior gives me the ick
10:52 and this is the ick I’m talking about😭 like “why didn’t you tell me that the extra credit work was for Cole?” Cuz 1) if I even mention Cole, you look like your head is about to explode and 2) does it matter who the extra credit work was for? Does that change anything about what was in my hand? Like shut up. I’m not saying Cole is a saint or better, but these things about Alex really get on my nerves😭
Well Jackie character gives me the ick! Like choose one brother and stick with your choice. Her indecisive was annoying and gave merit to everything Alex was feeling. Like why tell the man you choose him if that’s not how you feel?? She validates all of his insecurities by what she did
I have a theory, so in episode 9 Jackie interviewed for something for Princeton. She mentioned that there were offices in different cities, and she emphasized New York. So, I think she’s going for her little summer thing with Princeton and then she’s going to come back. Also, I was ream Cole ever since the first episode! 💗
Episode 10 was in my opinion the best episode of the season. I think all story lines this season were tied up for the most part. I am glad that we are getting a season 2!
First time I saw Kylie talking about Cole I presumed they had been a thing in the past and it would come up later as a massive plot twist I feel so validated that someone else thought they would make a good ship
Nah..I think the 2 of really gave just friendship vibes. Like they have an understanding..since both of them want someone they "can't " have. Also let Alex have at least one girl, who actually isn't into his brother
@@kritikagupta5582no way. She’s the only girl that isn’t fazed by Cole crap like the rest of the girls. She wants Alex and that is obvious. Let Jackie have Cole since he was worth cheating on Alex to be with. Alex deserves a girl like Kylie. She’s loyal and won’t cheat on him. Jackie is toxic and needs to take accountability for what she did
so it also took me a while to figure out their ages/grades but to my understanding: nathan/lee 14 and freshmen, jackie/isaac/alex 15 and sophomores, and cole/danny are 16 juniors. danny’s juilliard tuition was for a summer program not actual university
I thought Noah being 25 when his character is 16 was bad enough, but you're telling me that Nathan, whose actor is 24, is supposed to be 14??? Are they serious?? This is NOT what 14 year old boys look like. At least hire actors who LOOK younger, like damn. The actors of Alex, Isaac and Lee are visibly younger and they pull off looking like teenagers pretty well, but those two? Not a chance in hell.
@@Unfiltered494 well they filmed Season 1 of this show in the summer of 2022. So TECHNICALLY they would’ve all been 1-2 years younger than they are now, but yeah still unrealistic. Nikki Rodriguez (Jackie) is the only person who could pass for her character’s age in my opinion. Even Alex and the twins look a bit older compared to their ages on the show, but yeah Corey Fogelmanis (who plays Nathan) was 22 when they filmed Season 1, and Noah Lalonde (Cole) was 24.
I'm sorry but Alex and Cole just don't look real or human to me. Alex looks like he's made by AI and Cole just looks like he's made from the same botched factory that produced those Passionflix men.
It was levels to how bad it was for me. Jackie made me uncomfortable but Alex gave me a massive ick when I saw him and Cole makes me feel physically ill. I quit the first episode.
I see wym about Jackie's reaction to the teapot and like if Danny had fixed it, would she have kissed him? But I think that's the point, no one else even thought about trying to fix it for her. Like Alex who is supposedly in love with her, didn't even think to see if it was something that could be fixed. Her and Cole had the whole "nothing is so broken it can't be fixed" understanding already, so the teapot just kind of sealed the fact that Cole really cares about Jackie but instead of using words, he showed her.
Yep, and there's also a running theme of fixing each other between Jackie and Cole. I noticed it especially during the awards ceremony, when Jackie told Cole that if he'd let her, they could fix his situation together.
I liked this show but I feel like they should’ve made the ages and the family dynamics more clear cause the whole show I was trying to figure out what grade everyone was in and I didn’t know Danny and Cole were twins till like the 8th episode
And ep 10 has so many wonderful scenes that I just know how to feel. He knew the meaning of the flower scene and took Jackie there. The look on their faces looking at each other when he goes to pick up his school work, she was unable to hide her feelings. He looked at her the whole time at the wedding, declaring himself in the speech. The meaning that the teapot has for her and he repaired it carefully, even she couldn't resist. She successfully fell for the Cole effect. And the final kiss, PERFECT, wrong for Alex, but INEVITABLE. COLE TEAM ALWAYS!! 🫖😍
And the last episode encompasses my main issues. Cole really spent all season saying he'd never intentionally hurt Alex and then does just that right after the two finally started working things out. Just for that, I don't want Jackie and Cole to get together until Alex is completely happy and healed from all that bs. The writing annoys me too, cause it sucks that this was painted as a love triangle when the writing clearly shows that Jackie and Cole are the endgame. I mean for crying out loud, Cole gets character development to explain away his bad behavior, but the flaws and mistakes Alex has doesn't get the same development simply so that Cole is more appealing as a love interest. Why even make it a love triangle?!?!? Just make it a love story between Jackie and Cole and have Alex just become close friends with Jackie while dealing with secret feelings for Kylie. They could have gone as far as having Jackie and Alex fake date for a lil bit for whatever reason regarding their respective love interests but have it mean nothing for the two of them other then learning some type of lesson. I know this was based off a wattpad story so obviously the writers of the show weren't going to deviate in this way, but still, it annoys me. Anyway the show was renewed for a second season and I will be watching (but, if they don't fix some of these things in season 2, especially since the wattpad story didn't go past the Jackie leaving part, I will probably not watch a 3rd season if they get renewed again).
I'm hoping Alex get's his character growth arc in S2. There's a lot to work with there, and he has so much potential. As for the book, it was essentially Jackie and Cole's love story. They actually gave some of Cole's romantic scenes from the book to Alex in the show, in a kind of half ass attempt to make him a more viable option and make the love triangle seem more legit. They also don't have Jackie and Cole cheating in the book. She and Alex break up before she and Cole kiss, and I wish they had kept it that way in the show. I guess they wanted more drama by throwing in the cheating bit, but I think they'd have had plenty of drama just in having Jackie breakup with Alex for Cole since that's a big point of contention between them.
Okay so I think Cole and Danny are juniors (16/17) Alex Jackie and Isaac are sophomore (15/16) Then lee and Nathan are the year below? I think that’s what I read
although i normally root for the misunderstood older brother, i loved alex way more. all the characters were poorly written but i feel like alex came across as more like a real person idk? cole also just looks way too old and it’s unconvincing that he should be playing a 16 year old. in season 2 we need more of danny isaac and lee tbh
Yeah the guy who plays Cole (Noah Lalonde) had just turned 24 when they started filming Season 1. He could’ve passed for a junior or senior in COLLEGE maybe, but high school? That’s pushing it.
I think Jackie leaving was the better choice also plot wise I wanna see her in her element more in NYC🤷🏾♀️ Unrelated your hair is looking so thick and healthy, love to see it ❤
I see both of their merits, but to me, I ask myself 'What is Cole bringing to a relationship with Jackie?' She's so ambitious and while they have great chemistry, their values are really not aligned.
Episode 10 is my fav 💗🤧 I appreciate Alex being written the way he is. I haven't seen a "nice type" or "nice guy" written like this in years. I'm glad that he has flaws and that he is portrayed as someone who means to be sweet, struggles with trauma, but at the same time lacks self awareness ,is self involved and entitled. Generally it's only the "bad boy" who has flaws...so I'm glad both types of guys were represented. In S2 Alex needs to be developed further in a way that is empathetic to his trauma but also holds him accountable for his flaws and terrible decisions. He needs to mature. Alex reminds me of kids I went to school with. I hope he develops self love. I don’t understand resenting someone else for excelling because they utilise their skills and talents to compete or to work to get what they want. It just gives off "I wish i had what you had so I could do the things that you do while still judging you🙄" If they're setting up Alex and Kylie...he has work to do. She needs a life outside of him.He just called her a man. The book ends with her leaving but I don't think it was messy to this extent. Their parents need to put them together and talk to them, because the rivalry is tired and makes the parents look bad imo. They mean well but when it comes to Alex and Cole's relationship...they tend to drop the ball...especially the dad. The dad needs to get to know Alex and Cole on a deeper level. The mom is better but yeah. I love your takes and agree with your ships. #Endgame #NYxCO #Teamjackie #Teamcole
Are you even watching the show? "In S2 Alex needs to be developed further in a way that is empathetic to his trauma but also holds him accountable for his flaws and terrible decisions. He needs to mature." What flaws and what terrible decisions? Not trusting Cole? He was literally right all along and Cole is a proven hypocrite, a liar and a terrible brother. Having insecurities? Cole is the king of insecurities. The entire show is spent on how Cole struggles with coping with life without football and how insecure he is about himself now that he isn't the star player he used to be. And it's literally Alex the one who gives him a pep talk and makes him come out of his slump. And if anyone needs to mature it's Jackie. She just cheated on her boyfriend with his own brother, literally the same thing Paige did, and instead of dealing with the mess she's caused she rans away like a coward, letting the problem fester and making it worse. "I don’t understand resenting someone else for excelling at own good qualities and knowing how to compete/work to get what they want. It just gives off "I wish i had what you had so I could do the things that you do while still judging you🙄" You clearly did not pay attention to Alex and Cole's relationship. The entire point, which is explicitly stated in episode 9, is that BOTH of them have insecurities about things that the other excels at. Cole literally says he's jelous that Alex is smarter, that everyone thinks Alex is so kind and reliable and that Kat and George seem to be prouder of him than they are of Cole. If you watched the show and came to the idea that Alex is the only one with insecurities you are utterly lacking in media literacy. "If they're setting up Alex and Kylie...he has work to do. She needs a life outside of him.He just called her a man." Obviously? It's literally stated that they have known each other since they were in kindergarten. Alex sees Kiley as his best friend and she does not register as a potential love interest. Also, Kiley is the one who's pining for Alex and keeps standing on the sidelines doing nothing about her feelings. If she likes him so much then why isn't she making any moves and coming onto him?
Its not possible for us to meet but yep,Lakia thankyou for making me laugh, ur laughter is contagiously awesome and I am suffering from depression it helped me U r pretty dear❄
One thing that really bothered me was that Cole was really struggling with his emotions and his life and I felt like his parents weren’t listening or noticing him. Obviously parents can’t read kids mind and Cole should’ve opened up about how he is struggling but his parents should’ve been more observant. The drinking and other behavior shows that he is really struggling and kinda depressed. I think Jackie was the only person who saw it. They all just yelled at him and brushed him off
Not gonna lie I’m not mad at Jackie just disappointed and Cole is a horrible brother. He’s the same one who said he would never do anything to hurt his brother not then or now to Jackie herself he is a hypocrite
So true and Jackie is such a hypocrite as well . She got so mad and come for the whole Paige thing and then turned around and did basically the same thing as Paige to Alex and then just wanted to dip , like that’s crazy
ok but in ep 8 she asked alex to go after him before she even went. she never really volunteered herself but asked if alex wanted to go. and he started saying the whole “ur choosing cole over me” but he had the opportunity to fix that so i don’t she why he was so pressed
I don’t think that Jackie is “another Paige”. I’m sure from Alex’s perspective it’s gonna seem that way, but the context between what happened with Jackie/Cole’s situation and Paige/Cole’s situation are completely different. Paige was a social climber and kissed Cole to gain more popularity at school. As far as we know, she had no genuine feelings for Cole and he didn’t even know who the hell she was or that she was with Alex. Whereas with Jackie we’ve seen her, even before she got with Alex, develop a crush on him that obviously grew into her having strong romantic feelings. They always had deep convos, he was the only person she felt comfortable opening up to about her family and her headspace, he could always read her emotions and knew when something was wrong. Not to mention that he started fixing the teapot before he knew how much it meant to her and was the ONLY person to ask her what she wanted in the thanksgiving episode when everyone else (including Alex) was getting angry at her for considering going to live with her only living relative. The teapot was just kind of the breaking point because she’s been trying to fight her feelings for Cole the whole season and she couldn’t anymore . So… I wouldn’t say it’s the same as Paige. Alex knew Jackie and Cole had something going on (he caught them together many times) and still chose to date her. I’m not saying Jackie is innocent though, she definitely messed up and I feel bad for Alex, but I think people are being a little too hard on this 15 year old girl who’s already going through stuff.
You're right, it's not the same as Paige. It's worse. Because Jackie knew how much the Paige situation messed Alex up and she still decided to do the same to him. And not to mention Cole, who specifically swore to Alex that he'd never do sth like this to him deliberately and then turned around and broke that word almost immediately. It's worse, because this time both sides knew what they were doing, and did it anyway. If Jackie liked Cole so much more than Alex, she should've been honest with both of them (and herself) instead of leading Alex on for literal months. "He knew Jackie and Cole had sth going on and still chose to date her"? Jackie kissed him first. He didn't force her to do anything. He gave her space to make her choice. How can you twist that whole situation and blame it on the guy who got cheated on is beyond me.
@@Unfiltered494 When did I ever blame the cheating situation on Alex? When did I ever say that Alex forced Jackie into anything? I agree that Jackie should’ve been honest with herself earlier which is why I literally stated in my comment that I don’t think Jackie is innocent and that she messed up. But we’re not gonna act like Alex DIDNT know that her and Cole had something going on before he decided to date her. That’s the whole reason why he was doing all the PDA and showing off in front of Cole because he knew it was gonna hurt his feelings and he wanted him to be hurt, like how he was hurt. That’s the whole reason why he kept asking Kylie “how am I gonna compete with the Cole effect?” because he saw Cole and Jackie’s connection. He literally knew and chose to date Jackie all the same. I’m not saying he didn’t genuinely like Jackie (ofc he would considering that Jackie was flirting with him too) but a big part of it was him trying to compete with Cole and make Cole jealous even when he was aware of the fact that Cole didn’t know about him and Paige. Also, Cole purposefully made decisions to ignore his feelings for Jackie to avoid hurting Alex. That’s why he took back what he said about “can’t not wanting her” the next day, that’s why he told Jackie that he thought her and Alex are good together. He was going to let them be together and not interfere with their relationship until Jackie kissed him. I hate how some of y’all look at things from such a black and white perspective with no nuance because you deliberately want to make Alex into some perfect saint. He’s not a bad person at all, I would say he’s even more morally correct than Cole but he definitely isn’t an angel with no fault in all of this. Alex needs to open his eyes and see what’s in front of him instead of deliberately choosing to ignore the hints and social cues of people in his life and going out of his way to compete with his brother. All of these kids are flawed, including Alex.
@@shayy1724honestly, like ppl make way too many excuses for these fictional characters, it’s concerning. Cole, Alex. Jackie, even the friends (side) characters are in wrongs. Like the whole show is a roller coaster of emotions,
you're right. what Jackie and Cole did was SO MUCH WORSE than what Cole and Paige did. If Jackie wanted Cole, then she should have never started & continued a relationship with Alex. She chose to be with Alex! Jackie and Cole know how brokenhearted Alex was after the Paige thing and they still went behind his back and kissed. I'm sorry, but that's just not right at all. Alex deserves better
@@shayy1724 I don’t think he chose to date Jackie because of Cole! When he first saw her he liked her. He even told Kylie that he liked her and it had nothing to do with how cole felt. He knew that Jackie likes Cole also but let’s not act like Jackie wasn’t flirting with Alex also so he did back off and let her choose who she wanted. And it was Cole who kept antagonizing Alex and Jackie once Jackie made her choice. It was Cole who came up to Alex and Jackie in the hallway and started razzing them. It was Cole who came to Alex and Jackie while at the restaurant provoking Alex once again. It was Cole who bumped into Alex at the bonfire and provoked the fight between them. So this whole Alex being with Jackie to rub it in Cole face is just not true and something you’re making up in your head because it just wasn’t portrayed in the show. It was Cole throwing tantrums when Jackie chose Alex and started acting very immature because he’s use to getting every girl he wants. Alex was insecure for very valid reasons and Jackie validated his insecurities when she kissed Cole
Throughout the whole season Jackie showed no signs of wanting to kiss Cole but I knew when she would find the fixed teapot that Cole repaired they would've kissed and I was right but I kinda didn't want it to happen like that cause what if he had given her it after he first fixed would she had kissed him then or just given him a hug and thanked him since at that time she was with Alex. I just didn't like "oh Cole you fixed my sister's teapot that she gave me and had it all this time", I'm gonna give you a kiss even though Cole said he wanted to respect Alex and her relationship together but she kissed him anyway, like it was predictable and she then left after saying she would stay, at least their getting a second season but who knows what'll happen to make Jackie go back but will the family instantly forgive her for leaving or will there just be a time jump and bam she's back. Idk what they'll even do but the ending for this is just like the season 1 ending for Ginny and Georgia where spoilers Ginny leaves at the end just like Jackie did but returns early in season 2. I also hope season 2 is way better that 1 and they dive more into Jackie's story and less into the relationship with the brothers.
it's clear that they destroyed Alex bc they wanted the good girl with the bad guy again .. Alex was great in the first 5 episode then for some reason he became meh.. even tho i still root for him cause i'm tired of the bad boy trop in show or movie

Like really the assignment part? Jackie never lied and said it was for her all she said was that it's extra credit. Is Alex her dad or something that she needs to ask permission to give Cole homework? Also I don't feel bad for Alex. Alex literally saw Jackie and Cole by the fire place and he knows Cole purposely didn't turn the generator back on just so he could have a candle lit night with Jackie so it's obvious Cole was showing interest yet Alex still pursued Jackie. That's on him when there's already girl drama between them in the past.
Jackie did lie because it wasn’t extra credit, and obviously you’re gonna assume if someone is carrying around extra credit assignments it’s for themself. Jackie hid it for a reason, and we already know Alex is wary about his brother (for good reason because he made out with his girlfriend.) so it was a breach of trust.
@@Nunu_bear It was extra credit. Alex said "What's that?" and Jackie says "oh an extra credit assignment." Which is what it was if Alex assumed it was for her that's on him she never said it was for her. And how was the Paige thing a breach of trust? All Cole did was kiss a random girl at a party who he had no idea had any association to Alex. If my boyfriend kissed my sister my boyfriend is the only one to blame because he cheated on me and took advantage of the fact that my sister didn't know we were together. Cole said he'd been tryna fix things with Alex when he wasn't even at fault yet Alex still held onto his grudge over a girl for months.

Just finished watching it with my 2nd oldest sister and she kept laughing at how I was hating on Jackie and Cole after what they did. Jackie is a TERRIBLE person and Cole is a filthy liar. If he actually cared about Alex, he would’ve pushed Jackie away despite how he felt for her and Jackie, trauma is no reason to sink so LOW.
Thinking about why the brother love triangles are so popular lately and I just don't get it. You know what show did brotherly conflict well WITHOUT pushing them into a love triangle? One Tree Hill. This is why old teen shows will always be superior. I mean it's also probably because shows 20 years ago weren't based on wattpad stories written by 15 year olds.
so jackie decides to cheat on her boyfriend... and then up and leaves??? girl nah, wtf. 😭😭😭 and i thought i couldn't get more annoyed with this show bro. 😭💀
Okay, obviously Jackie was in the wrong for kissing Cole however, everyone needs to relax. It’s not like Jackie had intentions on being part of a love triangle, dating one of the boys but secretly loving the other, and kissing the other. She didn’t know what she was getting herself into when she moved in with them, nor did she know that Katherine and George had that many kids, and that two of them have had issues with dating/hooking up with girls in the past. So we can’t expect Jackie to just know exactly what she’s doing and what she wants…..she’s still vulnerable, and trying to figure everything out, especially herself. Also, are we gonna forget that Cole misleads Jackie and Erin so much, he’s hooked up with so many girls, he’s not the most reliable, and the fact that Alex nearly kissed Kylie? Everyone seems to wanna overlook that because of what he said to Kylie in that scene which definitely was messed up, but shouldn’t overshadow the fact that he nearly kissed thus nearly cheating on Jackie. Even though Alex was drunk….they say you reveal your true feelings and actions when you’re drunk, so I have a feeling that deep down inside….Alex actually likes Kylie. So while Jackie definitely messed up by kissing Cole…..she’s not the only “non innocent” person in the show, give the same “she’s messy” energy to Cole and Alex as well.
She’s in a really vulnerable state. Her entire family just died and she’s trying to figure out her way. I’d really give her the benefit of the doubt although she is in the wrong
@@KaiKailuvexactly!! like I think people forget that she’s a 15 year old girl, who just lost her ENTIRE family and is already going through mental and emotional turmoil. The last thing she was expecting was to be in a love triangle with two brothers and I don’t think she was trying to intentionally hurt/ play with their feelings. I’m not saying she isn’t wrong, but people are being way too hard on her in my opinion. But viewers are always gonna be harder on the girl in the love triangle because she’s always gonna go back and forth between the two guys, because that’s sort of what’s required in a love triangle plot.
Team Alex all the way❤😇. Cole is too tense for Jackie and like she said the pda needs to be put down another level, and I dont particularly think cole will do that for Jackie's sake. After what he did to alex.
"why cant you just give me the benefit of a doubt for once instead of always assuming the worst:" this show is a bit corny, but that is one of the best creative lines i ever heard.
You need to read more books. That line is as basic as sliced bread. And it gets complitely undercut by the fact that Cole does end up doing exactly what Alex suspected.
Cole stupid for blaming Jackie for the other half of his issues. She's still a minor that didn't have a say in the matter on relocating since her people died. Honestly he so disrespectful
Plot twist jackie never went to cole & kissed it was a dream, here what happened she saw the teapot got emotional wanted to see cole but stopped cause she knew what will happen Standing in her confusion she decided to pack & go to new York with her uncle to clear her mind & to process her emotions I really want something like this to happen in S2
thoughts on Jackie leaving???
I meeeaaaan. She kinda chose way too hasty wasnt true to anyone around her then turned into a scumbag by cheating. I woulda left too. I'll blame it on the trauma though. At least she kinda had a reason unlike crazy Belly.
I think she's just avoiding the confrontation with Alex. She can't bear being the reason why Alex and Cole will argue again
i feel like the only way cole and alex could fix their relationship would be for jackie to leave.
This girl has learned to always run away from her problems😅 and don't forget that she cheated on Alex with his own brotherrrr
Honestly, not loving it. I felt like she owed an in person explanation to Katherine after all she did for Jackie. Maybe she could try to make amends with the boys instead of running?
nathan and skylar had like no chemistry and they definitely put them together just because nathan was gay. also skylar didn’t deserve nathan too imo.
I AGREE like I loved that they got together before the chemistry is def lacking
How did Skyler not deserve him?
Oh lol I didn’t even know what grade he was in
@@LakiaJaiTV also cole and danny are twins so there both juniors alex and issac also jackie are sophmores and nathan and lee are freshmans
Girl I was like damn….. if there’s a season 2 Jackie is going to be the enemy to the family lol
S2 got confirmed so let's get ready 😂
Maybe.. but I don't think Cole is gonna snitch.
I just feel like something will happen between them that will cause them to break up
Honestly it's not her fault. If they pull that than it's a good thing she left with her uncle. Who knows.
“i mean your leg will still be messed up that ain’t got nothing to do with me” PLSSJSHSHZ LAKIA 💀
Jackie is pretty calm for someone who’s whole family died a few months ago
I wonder if that’s why she left. Everything with Alex and than him dropping “ I love you,” so she was probably already feeling a lot of emotions. And than she finds her tea pot. And Cole admits he likes her too and they kiss. I think she chose to go back so that they didn’t get in a fight ( the boys) but also so she can clear her head and really recognize that her family is dead and she will probably talk to Kathrine and give her the readers digest of her decision.
people process trauma in different ways, i believe she's suppressing her grief.

Real
You know damn well Jackie was thinking of Cole when they asked her to describe the color gold
Ngl I thought they would be a small thing so she could get a reaction out of Alex or smth
i definitely see that. i thought the same thing when i watched the last episode
Nah..I think the 2 of really gave just friendship vibes. Like they have an understanding..since both of them want someone they "can't " have. Also let Alex have at least one girl, who actually isn't into his brother
I can see Cole and kylie making a good duo, like one platonic relationship in the show.
Lee and Isaac are fraternal twins
@@KaiKailuv oh i thought only cole and danny were twins, i thought i heard a cast member say lee and isaac’s ages were changed from the books
@@patriciaramirez2982 oh you could be right. I was going off the book

Than it's because they were never meant to be. Obviously.
I'm sorry but Alex and Cole just don't look real or human to me. Alex looks like he's made by AI and Cole just looks like he's made from the same botched factory that produced those Passionflix men.
Omg what😭😭I’m done 💀
You’re so right. The editing of the show was straight up giving uncanny valley 😭
And it doesn't help that jackie looks like that too, she looks like a mix of an ai generated character and an american girl doll to me
Jackie too!! these actors look like sim characters and it's so freakish to me lol
I just finished the last episode today and was like I need lakias thoughts on this
"hey, hey. you got this. just, uh, remember to breath." thank you for that alex. almost forgot.
I guess they wanted more drama by throwing in the cheating bit, but I think they'd have had plenty of drama just in having Jackie breakup with Alex for Cole since that's a big point of contention between them.
i really enjoyed the show, and rewatching it with you! hope it comes back for season two

Episode 10 is my fav 💗🤧
I appreciate Alex being written the way he is.
It just gives off "I wish i had what you had so I could do the things that you do while still judging you🙄"
If they're setting up Alex and Kylie...he has work to do.

This is so well said. I agree with all of it!
Are you even watching the show?
"In S2 Alex needs to be developed further in a way that is empathetic to his trauma but also holds him accountable for his flaws and terrible decisions. He needs to mature."
What flaws and what terrible decisions?
It just gives off "I wish i had what you had so I could do the things that you do while still judging you🙄"
You clearly did not pay attention to Alex and Cole's relationship.
She needs a life outside of him.He just called her a man."
Obviously? It's literally stated that they have known each other since they were in kindergarten. Alex sees Kiley as his best friend and she does not register as a potential love interest. Also, Kiley is the one who's pining for Alex and keeps standing on the sidelines doing nothing about her feelings. If she likes him so much then why isn't she making any moves and coming onto him?

I also hope season 2 is way better that 1 and they dive more into Jackie's story and less into the relationship with the brothers.
since your (clearly) into rom-drams you should watch heartstopper, heart break high, or young royals ! 🙏
it's clear that they destroyed Alex bc they wanted the good girl with the bad guy again .. Alex was great in the first 5 episode then for some reason he became meh.. even tho i still root for him cause i'm tired of the bad boy trop in show or movie
GIRL I LOVE YOU, I MEED TO SEE YPUR REACTION TO BRIDGERTON
LAKIA JAI I LOVE YOU SO MUCH I DONT THINK I WOULDVE MADE IT THROUGH THIS WEEK WITHOUT ANOTHER VIDEO /GENUINE
Cole and Danny are twins and are juniors in high school
Jackie , Alex and Isaac are sophomores
Nathan and Lee are freshmans
I binge watched the whole season.
Hayley reminded me of a Disney princess in her wedding dress and her hair with that clip.
Alex is so insecure of his brother its such a turnoff now 😔🤚
such you bitch ass up cole is the worst brother ever.
What he supposed to proud that his brother made out with his girl?? That crushed his ego. He just 16 and this show is just in season 1. Opinions will change about him as he mature. Jackie gives me the ick!! I can’t stand her character
@@lakeshow-vq1rm yes, he is a kid that acts like a kid. And that shit is unattractive. Women love confident and mature guy. Which is why the way he is currently is a turn off.
@@rafraf3950 and that’s why I tell every guy to never change who you are for a women or to get her attention because what they like isn’t rooted in logic, it’s rooted primarily in how they feel and thats subjected to change at any time. And she did choose Alex! She just became selfish and entitled like most modern day women feels. Like it’s all about them and how they feel and screw everyone else. It also causess them to be misleading, deceitful and inconsiderate which is a narcissistic behavior. But in the same breath expect a man to protect and provide for them. To all the men in the world, this movie has proven why you should never chase a women period. If they don’t appreciate what type of man you are, find someone who will
@@lakeshow-vq1rm lmao, you reeks incel vibe. Ok mr. "nice guy", no wonder you lack bitches, I can feel the insecurity from miles away. Women loves confident man, and not just women, most people expect a lot from their partner, if you caught lacking they wouldn't be with you for long. Plus you shouldn't change for a better simply for a woman, but for yourself. People can tell when you put on a facade.
stop u make me laugh so hard 😭😭😭😭😭
team cole gang fr
I think the message it don't be like Jackie GIRLS!!!!!
@@natashaj849she could’ve just been honest!!! I wasn’t even that big of a deal. She even explained why she lied. She basically lied about how she felt and not telling anyone the truth even tho her friends noticed and would often call her out. Jackie was being toxic by hiding her true feelings and misleading Alex. Save all the essay writing now cause I’m not about to read all of that nonsense 😂😂
@@lakeshow-vq1rm i never asked you to read my essay and if Jackie needs to let her boyfriend know beforehand that she’s going to give his brother homework which shouldn’t be a big deal than Alex isn’t ready to be in a relationship yet he’s got some issue to deal with first 👍
@@natashaj849 that’s what I just said. He just asked what was the package she had and she decided to lie! Why?? Idk! She did say that she was afraid that him and Alex would go at each other if she let him knew so she even explained why she lied. But honesty wasn’t a strong suit of Jackie. Even Cole called her out on it a few times. Many say Alex gave them the ick! Well Jackie gave me the ick big time! She has way too many toxic traits
"forget it, it didn't mean anything" if he back tracks later she better turn him down 😂
Girl pls do a reaction My Demon. Your reaction just the best❤😂
Just finished watching it with my 2nd oldest sister and she kept laughing at how I was hating on Jackie and Cole after what they did. Jackie is a TERRIBLE person and Cole is a filthy liar. If he actually cared about Alex, he would’ve pushed Jackie away despite how he felt for her and Jackie, trauma is no reason to sink so LOW.
wheww this show is messy😭
When you said you almost started shipping Kylie and Cole I felt that because I shipped them 😂😂😂. And that’s def unthinkable 😂
I love your reaction.I love this show.🥰😂it’s hard for me choose Alex or Cole.🤔😩
Why is Alex hair always wet??🤨
Oh boy this was a mess
PLEASEE WATCH GREEN HOUSE ACADEMY ❤❤❤❤❤ IM BEGGING
idk i mean its all just life i mean.. cole is super smooth careing and sesitive and so is alex so
so jackie decides to cheat on her boyfriend... and then up and leaves??? girl nah, wtf.
Are you comparing nearly kissing someone drunk to hooking up with someone sober? Bc that’s just stupid
Cheaters don’t get to make excuses. Sorry
He literally kissed all of them. All of them. Its like idk I wouldn't want a guy who kissed all of my friends.
you should watch the new percy jackson series!!
You need to react to the movie: you are so not invited to my bat mitzvah ... It really good you'll love it
It reply isnt
???@@-bs3il
Does anyone know why she wrote and signed it the letter B or am I just blind and that saids the letter J?
It’s a cursive J
It was honestly kinda rude, she is toying with their emotions.
She’s in a really vulnerable state. Her entire family just died and she’s trying to figure out her way. I’d really give her the benefit of the doubt although she is in the wrong
@@KaiKailuv Im just basically saying shes playing with fire
Ms. Ma’am can we please get a review of Peach Girl for vday? It’s the ultimate love triangle anime ever.
The fair/rodeo scene is do dramatic for no reason. 😂
Teen lyfe
You should watch XO Kitty! 💗💗
Team Alex all the way❤😇. Cole is too tense for Jackie and like she said the pda needs to be put down another level, and I dont particularly think cole will do that for Jackie's sake. After what he did to alex.
"why cant you just give me the benefit of a doubt for once instead of always assuming the worst:"
this show is a bit corny, but that is one of the best creative lines i ever heard.
people always project what they think on other people
if you're a selfish type you'll think the worst first
You need to read more books. That line is as basic as sliced bread. And it gets complitely undercut by the fact that Cole does end up doing exactly what Alex suspected.
IYO, was Cole and Jackie's kiss hotter than the 2 Belly and Jeremiah kisses?
If I could subscribe twice I would.
but you cant just hop on a flight last minute she must of had it planned before..
TEAM DERIN
I know I'm probably in the minority sayin this, but... Alex has icky moments, while Cole's whole vibe is a massive ick for me. 😅
Cole stupid for blaming Jackie for the other half of his issues. She's still a minor that didn't have a say in the matter on relocating since her people died. Honestly he so disrespectful
can you please watch one peice ?
I kinda shipped kylie and Cole 😂 for some minutes
after everything i’m team jackie doesn’t deserve any of them 💀💀
To clear things up cole is a 16 year old
Plot twist jackie never went to cole & kissed it was a dream, here what happened
she saw the teapot got emotional wanted to see cole but stopped cause she knew what will happen
Standing in her confusion she decided to pack & go to new York with her uncle to clear her mind & to process her emotions
I really want something like this to happen in S2
