The countdown timer is actually a yachting timer..5min until race start.
The countdown timer was used to monitor navigation as to when a certain landmark would be seen or bombing as to when a dropped bomb would hit its target.
I was going to get one of these around April but then I checked and no UK dealer so I would have been hit with big taxes. So instead I hooked up with a UK watch dealer and got a Hanhart 417ES 39mm and I have no regrets over that. The Hanhart is amazing. I may still get one down the line second hand. I did enquire at the time if they were getting a UK dealer and they said "Soon!" but nothing on the website yet.
That pot noodle timer function is very handy 😂
The 5 minute timer is a Regatta timer used in Yacht races.

Great looking watch but vintage inspired? It's near a 1:1 re release of a watch designed in 1963.

A lot of glare off the crystal. You not telling us the price and then quickly flipping over the price tag so we don’t know I find problematic. Do you get money every time someone clicks on the link? A proper review should include the price. Thank you.
It's $1995 and i don't think he's getting paid because i don't see a paid promotions flag. according to RUclips policy you have to disclose if you are being paid to promote a product or a store
I mean it’s pretty obvious it’s a store promotion. The store sends him watches to make content and he plugs the store in his video and description. Even if there’s no money exchanged that’s a financial relationship. No issue with that though.
For me, it’s a shame they didn’t make the bezel mono directional and give it 200M WR so it could actually be used as a diver. Being a diver style watch doesn’t speak to me at all.
Squinting my eyes and i still can't see how this is cool. A miss for me.
