Great job, man! You nailed it perfectly. It's such a heavy, sinister riff with an incredible crunchy tone. I think it's only in D Standard too, but man do those guitars ever kick your ass from start to finish. I have a feeling this very well may be their heaviest album to date. @@JaredMOfficial Yeah, I heard it yesterday. I loved it. It's a little more melodic in my opinion, which definitely is NOT a bad thing. But if I had to choose between the four songs they've released so far, I'd have to go with go with "Shotgun Blues". Those riffs just pumps me up like crazy. I didn't know you already covered "Becoming", I'll check it out now.

Question. That faster riff after the solo. Is there any open “E” strings in that riff. When I play I wanna put open string chugs in there but I can’t tell if you are lifting your finger for open notes between the power chords on 2nd and 3rd frets
Nope... There's no open strings in that riff :)
It looks like you played the song with all downstrokes. That's some serious stamina. In the new video from the band, it looks like they're playing certain parts with a strum (down and upstrokes)....which would be easier. Props to your wrist and hand strength.....
