I still don't understand with the course sold as a product what happen to the customer once he has purchased the course and want to access it in another time, will LD remember him and grants him access?
Will the add to cart button work for each product/course that uses the same template? Also, where can I find the webinar or video that goes over the custom fields for the courses? I've looked through a few videos but I was unable to find it.
Hi I uploaded your template to my Learndash, works great, but the vidéo you have on the top right is added to the template, if I change it in one product, it changes in all product. How can that be solved?
Hi James thanks again for all of this series - this is just invaluable!! I see you're not using the actual template from last lesson, which content's you've edited with elementor. Instead you're just using the regular course content made with Gutenberg - Does that have anything to do with a conflict between the actual Elementor template and the Elementor course page (preventing the template from showing)? This has been driving me nuts for two days now and I'd really appreciate some input if possible. Thanks a bunch and Godspeed - Can't wait for the next one :))
I have managed to make a similar layout for all my courses. Could we make such layout for a group as well? In elementor there's no option to have a template for a group. Tried with the archive-> groups but it didn't worked. Please let me know if there's any way to do so.
Have you considered making 1 template that works for both products and the main course, so that things stay in sync? This only works of course if you don't want to make many alterations to the product page. One thing that would be really powerful is if you guys could maybe create an add-on for Elementor that would allow you to unload widgets if someone isn't enrolled. I think WP-Fusion has something similar to this and so do some other membership plugins. This would make keeping 1 template usable in 2 different locations much easier.
Thinking about it more, the only thing that would be annoying however is that you'd have to fill in the custom fields twice, since they are going to be pulling from different locations -- one on the product page, and one on the course page.
There's an awful thudding sound in the background of ALL tutorials James does - I don't know what it is but it drives me insane. Also, while James is a lovely guy, his teaching style is very erratic and often very hard to follow.
