I just had an extended conversation with Elementor Pro, and they confirmed the following:
    1. If an Elementor Pro website user builds a site today with sections instead of containers, in the future it will be out of date. Because all the new features will eventually be containers-based. The rep said, "Yes, you're right with that. Because now, our newer versions are making Elementor sites containers by default."
    2. Elementor Pro and Learndash integration only works when sections, not containers. The special templates made by Learndash for Elementor specifically do not function when containers are activated.
Elementor pro wrote: "That's right. We can confirm that Learndash templates were built with sections, not containers. Therefore, if you use containers, the integration works but the templates will not - and for this part, this is what we can't control already. These limitations were actually on the Learndash side already. We can only offer you the integrations and templates if you will be using sections but for containers, since their own templates are made out of it, that's where the limitation occurs."
In other words, it's on Learndash to update the integration. Elementor Pro will take no responsibility.
    3. Therefore, investing the time to build a Learndash course if Elementor Pro is your builder is a waste of time, because it now requires you to build your Elementor Pro with sections, not containers, which will soon be obsolete.
    4. I contacted Learndash customer support, and the last I heard was they have no plans for this for the forseeable future, but maybe 'at some point' this feature MIGHT become available.
So you can give up on your Elementor Pro website being able to be upgraded with future features - all containers based - if you want to be able to customize your Learndash Pro website on Elementor. Unless you're a coder, and most people use Elementor precisely because it does not need coding.
    Big disappointment!

Learndash and Tutor Lms have great competition, let see who wins the market in the future and I'm so happy that Learndash introducing new features and this is the great step of Learndash company to introduce a combination of Learndash and Elementor pro, I always suggest to my clients for Learndash for their LMS system. God bless you, Thanks.

That was too painful to watch. I stuck with it for about 30 minutes but gave up. Sorry, but the presenter seemed totally unprepared, got lost in his train of thought many times, kept clicking the wrong things then apologizing. Advancing the slide, then back, then forward, then back...over and over. All I wanted to know was whether the add-on allows me to design LearnDash course content pages with Elementor, just like I can with any other post or page using Elementor...not create templates, conditional logic and custom fields. Just start with a blank canvas and drag Elementor widgets in. I've designed a bunch of websites with Elementor, and I find it gives me so much more control over layout. Elementor is to a Rolls Royce like WordPress's block editor is to the Flintstone car!

WOW! First off, nice work on the Course Page you put together. It is too bad that it appears you never released them to those who invested their time 56:45 to be exact to listen to a very ill structured and deeply confusing presentation, given that large parts of your audience has little experience with the software tools we had hoped to gain some insight to their use and operation. You should really stick to design and leave the Tutorials or Presentations to those who have that skill as clearly you do not. ;(

    Excellent video!
I want to implement this on my website (I use the Astra theme), but when I go to "Display Options" inside WordPress I can't find the "Custom Fields" option, so I can't enable it and I can't work with them. This happens to me with both the classic editor and Gutenberg.
It happens only with this website, since with another of my websites with LearnDash + Astra this does not happen to me and I can enable the Custom Fields option normally.

I was able to find the first option to turn on Custom Fields in each module but never the three buttons at 17:46 in the video. Finally, I set a new Course up, gave it a title, saved a draft and the page refreshed with custom fields visible so they may have updated the backend to remove that step once you have it enabled. I never could locate Display Options even so you are ahead of me :-)

Great tutorial and just the one I needed! One question which is driving me crazy... The widget on the left column is pulling the post content which is great! But actually, even when configuring the template to show on all courses - Once I review a course's page I get the widget itself (the one I've designed from the Course >> Course page >> Edit with Elementor) instead of the desired template - I know I must be missing some basic configuration but I just can't seem to find it. Also looked everywhere in the video and couldn't actually find where exactly this widget content is coming from ^_^

      anything??
Recap: The site's showing the course content (made inside the course itself through Courses >> Course page >> Edit with Elementor) instead of showing Elementor's template (which I've made myself from scratch) with the correct view condition (active on Posts of type Course). Any help would be highly appreciated :-)

However, I do feel I have just wasted lots of mine time watching this very unstructured presentation. He keeps moving from thing to thing and you end up having a headache. I also think he over complicates things. Learndash should re-do this tutorial. I’m sure he is better at presenting now that its been over a year of him being a presenter.
